As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable.  As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.

If in five years tumblr decides that The Owl House was A Bad Show, Actually because of problems that were directly caused by a homophobic studio cutting them off at the knees, I'm going to scream.

Legend of Korra got attacked because Korra and Asami "only held hands in the last shot," despite the uphill battle the writers waged against Nickelodeon to give us even that much.

Steven Universe's final season gets remembered in the most bad-faith way possible because the crew risked everything to get the first-ever queer wedding in a kids' show, and got penalized by the network because of it.

Adventure Time gets panned for "waiting until the very end" to make Bubblegum and Marceline canon, despite the fact that they couldn't get the network to allow it until after the wedding in Steven Universe (hey! look at that! STEVEN UNIVERSE BEING IMPORTANT TO OTHER SAPPHIC SHIPS GOING CANON, fancy that!).

She-Ra gets accused constantly of being "toxic representation" despite the sheer number of queer people who fought tooth and fucking nail to get it to happen at all and put their entire soul into representing themselves honestly.

The Owl House crew has directly cited Steven Universe and She-Ra for paving the way. Lumity would have never fucking happened without the milestones made by others who came before.

I am begging people to learn about the history of queer representation in television, and I am begging people to stop holding queer media to infinitely higher standards than any other type of media.

Its been almost 2 weeks since I stopped testing positive for covid, still getting fevers, still tired all the time, my hearing is weird still, still having a hard time with my breathing a little bit.... AAAAAAAAAAH I just want to feel better!. Its almost 1am and I have 38.4 celsius fever from my mouth... Luckily thats not a high fever but its still a medium fever. Luckily I havent been testing positive so I’m pretty sure I have long covid and am not contagious...

Lol when I got COVID I was prepared to feel awful when I was sick. What I wasn't expecting was how exhausted, foggy, and just weird I would feel after COVID.

Apparently this is normal but I feel like it isn't talked about enough.

Day 6 of Covid and I feel basically the same as yesterday. My throat is a little less awful feeling but my hearing is now doing weird things which is fun. 

I just want to go to the store that’s across the street from my apartment. I want poutine with deep fried mushrooms and to see the guy who runs it.

Day 5 of COVID and I almost have my voice back but now I'm eating frozen veggies from the bag because I'm so tired and sore that cooking seems like too much of a chore.

Should I eat something with the frozen veggies? Yes.

Do I plan to? Maybe.

I am feeling better than yesterday so that's a good sign.

Day 6 of being stuck at home due to covid... Day 4 of having covid. Everything hurts and I’m so bored lol. I swear if I didn’t have my roommate and couldn’t video chat my mom I’d be in a much worse spot mentally. 

Thank goodness for my mom, she brought me groceries yesterday. She also brought me a coffee and a bagel sandwich. I have the best mom. 

I’ve also been messaging with my dad a lot. He gave me some movie recommendations and has been helping keep my spirits up. 

Still feel like absolute garbage though. Too hot then too cold, coughing until my throat and chest are sore, constantly running nose, muscle pains so bad I could barely walk yesterday.

I have COVID now as well.
