Steve gives up and goes to law school — just like his dad always wanted. But not out of obedience. Oh no. He does it out of pure, unfiltered spite. The kind of spite that whispers: "I’m gonna dismantle your entire shady-ass business empire, old man. From the inside. With the kind of legal knowledge no overpriced firm ever managed to use against you. And guess what? I’ve got dirt."

It’s that unhinged desire for petty revenge that somehow turns Steve into a genuinely good lawyer. Like, worryingly good. Turns out, it’s easy to learn when you don’t take any of it too seriously — and your internal monologue is just a running track of “let’s see what happens if I win.”

Halfway through law school, he meets Eddie Munson. Accused of crimes in one state. Hiding out in another. A rising rockstar. A chaos gremlin. A walking lawsuit. And unfortunately, Steve’s new client — because Steve just had to sign up for that unpaid “public defender internship.”

The rest is legal hellfire, leather jackets, and questionable decision-making.

Oh, and falling in love. Probably. Maybe.

Eddie decides that he can’t stand another second of Steve Harrington looking like the saddest wettest puppy left out in the rain after he got beat up and had to quit basketball. He’s going to do something about it.

Steve, realizing that he’s suddenly being followed around by a bunch of weird nerds, is like, “No, stop it! I don’t need any more nerds trying to get me to join their club.”

Steve is a munch, he loves eating out Eddie, or just teasing him with his mouth.

Eddie is a little too obsessed with taking things in his mouth.

Jayce loooves kissing and sucking and doing whatever he knows will make Viktor melt.

Viktor had to get used to it at first, but sucking on something really let’s him let go.

I love my possessive obsessed jayvik but also vikjayce with their friends to enemies to exes dynamic.

They fight a lot and it’s honestly a routine, they can’t stop because.. that would be mean breaking the routine. And it’s messy and they argue and bring up “the old days” all the damn time. It’s a cycle that they can’t leave.. because they don’t want to.

Sometimes Jayce *does* stop seeking Viktor out, focusing on Piltover by other’s wishes. And it just doesn’t last long, because Viktor is petty and bitter and craves the attention he can get (even if he’ll never admit to it.) and he breaks into Jayce’s lab and steals whatever he’s working on.

Then they fight, they fight because it’s really, one of the only ways they communicate. Leaving a bruise is just another way to leave a lasting mark.

Somehow it always ends up with Jayce destroying some part of Viktor’s body. Ripping up his wires, his plating, getting into his circuits or whatever. It’s intimate. They don’t talk about it.

After the fight they exchange a few words, and Jayce repairs Viktor. The cycle repeats.
