Daily Fodd Fact #255: In the early days the number of pleats (folds) in a chef's hat represented the recipes they knew for a given item like an egg or chicken. Having a hat with 100 pleats meant that you knew 100 ways to prepare an egg.

Daily Fodd Fact #253: A man starts a whistle-blower lawsuit against Boeing after he found parts for the aircrafts to be subpar and 1/4 of all oxygen masks to potentially fail on use and was concerned that the new planes were being pushed out to early and safety was further compromised. Now 30 year old retired worker John Barnett being this whistle-blower is found testifying in court against the company but thankfully for Boeing (which the Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed has had 33/89 of their safety standards/inspection list violated) the man ended up committing suicide, which is not at all suspicious. The man repeatedly pointed out these concerned throughout his career and started the suit after he determined his analysis of improper safety stopped him from advancing in his career.
This happened roughly a year and a half ago btw.

It was predicted to last up to the 2020s and is currently still going strong as its mission is to now exit the Kuiper Belt which is expected to occur in 2028/9.

Daily Fodd Fact #250: When trains first hit the scenes people were shocked at its blitzing speed of 50mph (80kmh) to the point they were worried their flesh would melt off and after that worry was resolved the much more reasonable risk of a woman's uterus simply leaving their body arose as a potential issue. How much of this was common public sentiment I couldn't tell you but that fact it was recorded at all is funny.
