With everything that had been going on with the recent manga leaks of chap 348, I think one can only see it a certain way. Tbh I was one of those people, who never thought bkdk had any chance to be canon. I mean realistically speaking, it's a shounen manga.

So remember that one post i made, where I was giving out major hopium while claiming that there is no way bkdk isn't canon, though that previous post had been laced with a bit of satire, what i am saying right now isn't.

There's a high chance for bkdk to be canon, Horikoshi is as unpredictable as his own characters and i think he's going to have fun.

When I say he's going to have fun, it doesn't necessarily mean we are. I just have a feeling that something major is going to happen. Someone even pointed out how the last two chapters were relatively short (only 13 pages) .

So is he trying to ease us into something? And if so, what is it? Should we be scared? I mean there was this talk of Izuku's idea of love and his feelings, right before he joins Katsuki.

Right before he'll engage in combat.

Then there is that damn 'was' point in the narration that a lot of people are pointing out with three main possibilities (that I have seen so far).

It's just the flow/tense of the narration.

Izuku is going to lose OFA when he fights AFO.

Izuku dies.

One thing that is for sure is that Izuku will awaken the ninth user's quirk during this battle. Obviously Katsuki will aid as a catalyst. And how is he going to take in this role of a catalyst? There is a myriad of possibilities. At first I thought it would have something to do with the sludge villain. Because even Izuku getting OFA at the first place was because of Katsuki.

But now I don't think that's what's going to happen, and this is another reason for my fear. The initial ending was going to be a Katsuki and Izuku team up, so I think this ending will be vaguely or loosely attached to that idea.

Now that brings back the idea of Izuku losing OFA. Not because he gives it to Katsuki (that won't be happening) but it will have something to do with Katsuki and the sludge villain incident.

Then there is that 'damned nerd' narration and despite my excitement over it, I am also now afraid of it. Was it because future Katsuki was reminiscing something? Was that reminiscence sad... because like pointed out before 'kare' (which is more respectful has been used) and it had been said with a little fondness and amusement. Further, it's said along with the lines- 'because for all his triumphs...'

The way the line is spoken again implies that someone (i am like 90% sure it's Katsuki) is speaking from the future.

I just think this whole 'bkdk canon' thing is not going to be a whirlwind but a whole tornado.

So, in conclusion, yes, we should be scared. Very scared!

there is no way that Deku takes care of his own hair, he just cannot be bothered to do it. but Kacchan won't let those curls get too tangled, and every now and then it's probably relaxing for him to decorate his bf's head and listen to him ramble on about things

um todays warm up sketches feature a dark/villainous kacchan because that is what happens when youre listening to Hysteria by Muse on repeat

Ok, but i love how the anti-bkdk's retort with, 'deku's stright!' but it's rarely ever 'bakugou's straight'. I guess even they agree that Bakugou is unequivocally gay

Kinda a head canon

So Todoroki, the sweet, oblivious child, hangs out with Mina and the girls, and he learns about Katsuki's feelings towards Izuku. Now every time he sees Katsuki a little too close to Izuku, he feels the need to ask- "are you going to kiss?"

Because that's all he understands about crushing on someone lmao.

Kind of a head canon...

So if Katsuki and Izuku were secretly dating, i think Izuku would hide that fact very well because I think he hides shit from his friends and mom all the time. Katsuki on the other hand would have this love-sick grin whenever Izuku walks by, and he'd call him nerd lovingly, always stare at him, talk a little too much about him. Now, Izuku obviously talks a bunch about Katsuki too, but that's normal in his friends eyes, so they don't think much of it, but when coming from Katsuki they start to get suspicious.

By the end of it, they all think Katsuki has a big, fat crush on Izuku and decide to give him unneeded advice on how to ask Izuku out. He gets annoyed and shouts out "We are fucking dating!"

Bakugo should unlock the 2nd user's quirk

I can't find the og post but I saw someone else basically talking about how Bakugo has been the most consistent catalyst for Deku's quirk evolutions (that we see) and I just wanna say that this is such a great point so lemme elaborate on that :

- When Deku saw that it was Kacchan who was being attacked by the sludge villain , that's when his body moved on its own to save him , and this is what convinced All Might that Deku was worthy of taking up the torch . So from the start , Deku got his quirk in the first place because of how much he cared about Bakugo

- The original poster also brought up a great point that Bakugo was one of Deku's main influences for improving his primary power of OFA - using full cowling to propel and maneuver through the the air

- Then , of course , Deku's most obvious Kacchan related quirk evolution : unlocking blackwhip , his first alternate power of OFA . Deku literally got so enraged at Monoma trash talking Bakugo that it triggered a dormant ability , and the original user was even like ??? dude u gotta calm down or ur gonna loose control too easily 🤚🏼 Also pretty significant that Deku defending Katsuki is the start of him getting OFA in the first place as well as setting off THIS quirk , which is the start of Deku unlocking all the other crucial quirks

- A bit less significant , but during the war Deku unlocks float to carry everyone to safety including Bakugo

- Then during the war , Deku unlocks Danger Sense because of Bakugo . Even though Deku was surrounded by people he cared about who were being hurt , it was specifically Bakugo's peril that set him off . When Bakugo takes a hit from AFO for him , Deku is devastated by it , and then AFO belittles everyone's efforts , but also makes sure to specifically mock Bakugo's sacrifice (almost like he knows what'll provoke Deku) and this makes Deku go into rage mode , unlocking Danger Sense before basically going blackout feral and shouting at AFO to take it back . Out of all the reasons Deku has to be angry with AFO , that comment is what he decides to continuously focus on 🤨

Now I'm not saying that all of these were just because of Katsuki , but I am saying he is the most common factor

As for the other three quirks Deku has , Transference was presumably already unlocked as Deku received the power , while Fa Jin and Smokescreen were unlocked off screen . And now I'm just thinking about how every quirk Deku has unlocked that Horikoshi decided to show the audience , Bakugo was heavily involved somehow 😐

And now , the final quirk that Deku is destined to unlock happens to belong to a mysterious character who is clearly a visual and narrative parallel to Bakugo . After getting a closer look , I don't think the 2nd user is similar enough to actually be Bakugo , but he's too similar for the resemblance to be a coincidence . There's definitely supposed to be a significant connection here . Hmmm.... I wonder what that would be 🤔 I wonder what the payoff for this could possibly be 🤔⁉️👀🏳️‍🌈

The second user really starting to pay attention here when Katsuki rescues Izuku because he knows that this relentless firecracker is gonna be the trigger for Deku to unlock his quirk 😭🤚🏼
