Your face went pale at the mention of her name. There was no doubt about it, Heeseung and you only knew one Chaewon, the person who ruined your best friend 2 summers ago.
Heeseung's ex-girlfriend.
"Chaewon!?? She's here? At this college?" You asked, still flabbergasted. He nodded as all the puzzles in your mind clicked. It all made sence now. You knew Heeseung couldn't control his anger at the mention of her name, let alone at the fact that his teammate was dating her.
"I know what I did was wrong but the coach wouldn't hear me out." Your best friend's voice broke, he looked down once again, emberrassed at the tears threatning to fall from his eyes.
"It's not your fault, come here." You grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into your embrace. Heeseung couldn't hold it in much longer and your warm hug only made him want to cry more.
His hands tightened around your form, afraid that you'd somehow slip away from his grasp. He buried his head in your shoulder, silent sobs leaving his mouth. The reason for his tears was obvious, basketball was his greatest passion, but his heart ached because of you.
You held him so gently, took take of him with no questions, stood by his side through everything. He felt grateful and utterly indebted to you.
You rubbed your hand along his back, your fingers tangled in his hair, softly playing with the strands. His sobs slowly died down, as his grip loosened. He listened to the sound of your heartbeat and pulled away.
Heeseung's cheeks and nose were flushed pink, partly because he felt slightly emberrased, but mostly because his face was buried in your shoulder comfortably.
He wiped the remaining tears in his eyes and smiled for the first time that day. "Wanna stay here for the night?" You asked softly, earning a nod from him.
You watched as he crawled into your bed, head resting on your pillow as his hair messily scattered across it. You threw a blanket over his form and scooted closer to lay next to him.
"Cuddles?"
He looked at you with his bambi eyes and a light pout on his lips. His gaze melted you instantly as you wrapped your arms around his body. Heeseung relaxed in your embrace and let out a sigh. You listened to his breathing as it began slowing down, turning into light snores.
You reached up to gently play with his hair, something you knew he loved and always helped him relax. Heeseung had never fallen asleep that fast before. You stared at his face, watching as his eyelashes shut, his eyebrows relax and pink lips part slightly.
After a few minutes you also closed your eyes, letting his warm presence and sleep take over.
•° `♡` °•
Heeseung slowly opened his eyes, letting them adjust to the light coming from the window. He let out a breath, utterly comfortable and warm in your bed. Oh that's right. Once his vision adjusted he saw you.
More like noticed that his hands were wrapped around your waist, his legs tangled between yours. His breath hitched as he finally realized where his head was resting. Not on your fluffy pillow, but directly on your chest.
Heeseung panicked for a second, sure you two had cuddled before, but he never went as far as to sleep... you know where. You'd probably freak out the second you opened your eyes.
Heeseung decided life was too short not to take risks. He stayed in that position, hoping to prolong it for as long as possible. He closed his eyes as you suddenly moved. Naturally he froze, thinking it was officially over for him.
Instead your fingers tangled into his hair. He felt his heart jump at the sudden contact. You gently played with the strands while also massaging his scalp. Heeseung couldn't help up relax and lean into your touch, a soft whine exitted his lips.
You were awake.
Way before Heeseung even opened his eyes. But of course you had to save him from emberrassment somehow. That said, he stayed in your arms. A bit shamless in your opinion but you were too comfortable to move or push him off.
Instead you opted to teasing him a little.
"You know I'm awake right?"
You felt his body jolt hard, like his soul just flew away. A small chuckle left your mouth. "It's not funny." Heeseung said with a pout and look up from between your boobs.
Shameless doesn't even begin to describe him.
His nose brushed against the curve of your boob as he made eye contact with you, his eyes doe and wide. "You're such a fucking pervert."
You scoffed and finally shoved his head off. Heeseung grinned like you'd just given him the biggest compliment. You sat up and threw the blanket over his head.
As you went to the bathroom your best friend stretched across your bed, taking up all the space. You groaned at the sight of him so comfortable and threw a shoe at him.
It hit his abdomen as he groaned in pain. "What was that for!?!" He exclaimed. You ripped the blanket from under him as he went crashing onto the floor. That serves him right for worrying you.
Heeseung gasped as his body landed on the floor with a thud. He looked completely offended as he stood up and ran towards you. You let out a laugh as he chased you around your room.
You managed to jump on your bed but he grabbed your ankle and pushed you down onto the matress. He straddled your lap and before you could react he began tickling you.
You gasped as broken laughs left your mouth. The air was knocked out of your lungs as you desperately tried to push him off. You couldn't even properly analyze the position you two were in.
That was until the door opened.
Heeseung froze as his eyes darted to your roommate, who stood in the doorway with wide eyes. A few seconds passed of you and Heeseung staring at Wonyoung. Her mouth hung open for a bit too long.
"Sorry I should've knocked."
She quickly closed the door as silence filled the room.
Your best friend turned to you as his mouth slowly crept up into a smile. You two burst out laughing as Heeseung rolled off of your lap, clutching his stomach in pain.
And suddenly your phone vibrated on your bedside table. Speaking of which, you hadn't checked it since yesterday. Heeseung grabbed your phone and looked at the screen. A scowl appeared on his lips.
He handed the phone to you without a word.
Another missed call from Hyunjin. 23 including the ones from yesterday. The texts he sent easily added up to 50.
"Shit."
You muttered under your breath as Heeseung crossed his arms. "What?"
"I forgot I was suppost to go on a date with Hyunjin yesterday."
Your best friend's face twisted wickedly, a wide, confident grin decorating it. The reason you 'forgot' the date was because you were with him. He felt an odd sence of pride that you subconsciously picked him over Hyunjin.
You furrowed your brows at him. "What's so funny? I completely blew him off."
You exclaimed and quickly dialed his number.
You placed the phone to your ear as the call went through. Hyunjin picked up and you opened your mouth to speak but Heeseung had other plans.
He snatched the phone away and signaled for you to be quiet. You did as told, not wanting to provoke him into doing something stupid. "Heeseung put the phone down."
You whisper-yelled and reached out to grab it. "Hello?" Hyunjin's voice was heard from the phone. "Heeseung, seriously give it back."
He only placed the phone near his ear and spoke on your behalf. "Oops wrong number."
And with that he hung up.
Your mouth dropped, literaly.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
•° `♡` °•
Heeseung reluctantly handed the cashier some money, after you forced him to buy you ice cream (as an apology). You had basically ripped his ear off after giving him an earful.
It was safe to say he wouldn't pull some shit like that again. He handed you the ice cream with a pout, still mad about your violent outburst.
"My ear still hurts." He whined as the two of you sat down on a park bench.
You pushed the strands of his hair out of his ear to take a look. A grin appeared on your lips. "It's still red alright."
Heeseung swatted your hand away and scoffed. Suddenly his body tensed. You noticed right away that something was wrong. He instantly turned his back to you as if to avoid being seen by someone.
"What the hell-?"
"It'a her."
"Who?" You glanced around, only for your gaze to fall on her. Chaewon and two other girls were about to walk past your bench. You also quickly mimicked Heeseung's action, both of you now facing right.
"What are you doing?" He whisper-yelled since now you two looked way too suspiscious.
"Same thing as you. Wait I have a plan, turn around." You said and grabbed his shoulder, forcibly making him sit normally. He groaned, eye twitching as his ex kept getting closer.
You dipped your finger into your cone and grabbed his chin, dabbing the tip of his nose with the ice cream. His eyes widened like his brain just malfunctioned.
You chuckled, loud enough for people walking by to hear and watched as Heeseung's face shifted. You wiped the ice cream with your index finger and licked it while still grinning.
And right on que Chaewon walked past, her eyes burning into you. She had seen everything you wanted her to see and based on her reaction, it worked.
Her fists clenched at her sides as Heeseung smiled back at you. "Nice thinking." He mumbled quietly as you nodded.
Chaewon stopped in her tracks.
Her friends furrowed their brows. Your best friend was about to look at her, but you grabbed his chin, stopping him. You lightly shook your head as he understood. He shouldn't be hung up on her. Infact he shouldn't even pay attention to her.
Chaewon walked (more like stormed) off after that. Heeseung could finally breath properly again.
•° `♡` °•
"Jake, dude come on, just this one time. Please?" Heeseung pleaded with his hands pressed together.
Jake awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. As much as he would love to help his buddy out, he was much more afraid of you and what you'd do when you found out.
You were currently on a date with Hyunjin and Heeseung didn't like that one bit.
His plan was simple. Have Jake call you in a panic and claim he was in an accident. You'd come rushing to help while leaving your stupid date for good.
Yay for Heeseung!!
Except Jake had no desire to get involved. Infact none of his friends encouraged him to do this.
"This is a stupid plan, what will you do when she finds out?" Sunghoon said as he took a bite of his food. Jay shook his head, completely against the idea.
"Don't fucking do that unless you want her to kill you. She already sacrafised enough for you, let her have this one thing." He said and watched as Heeseung's face fell. That one hit hard, but not hard enough to make him back down.
Jungwon shook his head, not wanting to get involved. Finally Sunoo spoke up, feeling irritated by his friend's helplessness. "I'll do it."
Heeseung grinned widely.
•° `♡` °•
You and Hyunjin slowly walked on the sidewalk, shoulders brushing against one another from time to time. His fingers gently intertwined with yours, as you enjoyed the cool, slightly harsh breeze. His jacket was around your shoulders.
This particular date went extremely smoothly, partially because you promised you'd abandon your phone and not look at it for the whole evening. You did just that and Hyunjin was relieved. You also apologized god knows how many times for forgetting the last date.
Suddenly your phone rang. You instantly reached for it, mentally praying that it wasn't Heeseung or else everything with Hyunjin could literaly collapse.
Thankfully it was Sunoo. Hyunjin gave you a small nod. "Hello?"
"Please tell me you know where Heeseung is."
His sounded extremely worried. Your brows furrowed. "No, I haven't seen him. What's going on?"
"Shit, sorry for bothering you."
Sunoo hung up after that, leaving you with questions you didn't know you had. Where the hell was Heeseung now? Gosh why did he have to always inconvenience his friends and you?
You placed the phone back in your pocket, still shaken up from Sunoo's call. It felt like you couldn't relax, no matter how many times you told yourself that your best friend was fine.
He was a grown man. He can handle himself.
Hyunjin walked you all the way back to your dorm building. You offered to continue chatting in your room, he agreed with a smile. Just when you two were about to walk in Sunoo ran out.
His breathing was heavy, like he'd been running for a while. He walked up to a figure, one you instantly recognized. Heeseung stood in the cold only wearing a thin white t-shirt. He lifted the motorcycle helmet off his head and pushed his hair back.
That's when you noticed his bloodied palms and knees. His jeans were ripped in that same spot, like he'd fallen harshly. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Sunoo yelled and shoved his shoulder.
Heeseung brushed it off and began walking past him. You felt rain drops fall on your face, slow and light at first but it quickly started pouring.
Your best friend limped past you, helmet in hand. He didn't glance at you, knowing he'd unintentionaly ruin your date. He already had. You forced yourself to look away.
Your eyes had been glued to him ever since he appeared and Hyunjin noticed. He would've been blind if he didn't. Heeseung was about to walk inside the building when his knee gave out. He landed on the wet concrete, a groan left his lips.
Sunoo ran to help him.
He was right behind you, you didn't dare look at him again knowing it would get you in serious trouble.
"Let me go! I can walk on my own." You heard Heeseung, he probably pushed Sunoo off and stubbornly stumbled to his feet.
"Y/n?"

"How long do you plan on ignoring me?" You breathed out quietly, looking up to read something in his eyes.
His eyes widened, breath caught in his throat. You pulled away, dropping your hands on your lap. "Is this because of the kiss? Cause I'm sorry It was an accide--!" You began as his brows furrowed. He instantly tried to clear the air.
"No, no, why would you think that?" He asked.
"Why would I not? You've been ignoring me, or maybe I've been ignoring you but--! I miss you okay?"
Heeseung's eyes softened, his heart burned at the sight of you sad. He chuckled slightly as you looked at him with tearful eyes. "Don't ever think that one accidental kiss is enough to ruin our friendship, Okay?" He grabbed your hands in his, looking for your approval.
You nodded. "Then is something going on with you?"
"I'm sorry, my coach has been on my nerves lately. That's all." He explained as you wiped your eyes with your sleeve. He smiled and gently pulled you into a hug. His hand caressed your hair. "I did match my costume with you, didn't I?"
"Yeah thanks for that." You said and pulled away. Your eyes landed on his bruise again. You hissed just looking at it. "Does that not hurt?"
He chuckled at your worried face.
"Just a bit."
•° `♡` °•
You returned downstairs to the party with a satisfied expression and joined Karina and Winter on the dance floor. They smiled at the sight of you having fun, but didn't ask any questions.
You noticed Hyunjin in the corner, his nose was bandaged and he looked completely sober. You thought about apologize to him on Heeseung's behalf, so you took slow steps towards him.
"Is your nose okay?" You asked pointing to his injury.
He looked geniunely surprised to see you. His posture straightened as he cleared his throat. "It could be worse." Hyunjin replied, his eyes fell to the floor.
"Look, I'm really sorry for how I acted. I never should've forced you to do anything and I'm sorry for starting a fight with your friend. I guess I got jealous when I saw his costume."
"It's okay, really. I forgive you." You said as he smiled. Hyunjin placed his hand on the back of your head, looking awkward. "So that means, we're still going on that date tomorrow."
He asked as you smiled slightly. "I'll think about it."
You walked off before Hyunjin could reply. As you were making your way back to Karina and Winter, someone grabbed your wrist. You looked back, brows furrowing as Giselle dragged you outside. "Hey! What's going on?"
She stopped once you two where infront of the house. Coincidentaly Ningning was also standing there, tapping her foot on the grass impatiently. "What happened between you and Heeseung?" Giselle asked as the two girls stood infront of you like detectives on a case.
"I was gonna tell you but, all you need to know is that we're okay now." You said as Ningning gave you a look. She unlocked her phone and handed it to you.
"Looks like more than okay to me." She muttered as your eyes landed on the gossip blog. There was a new post, just posted 30 minutes ago with you and Heeseung in the kitchen.
Any normal person who saw the photo would assume you two were together. You stood infront of him, fingers on his bruised cheek. Only then did you notice how intently your best friend was looking at you. You rubbed your forehead in irritation, clearly not being able to come up with a proper responce.
You handed the phone back to Ningning as she spoke up.
"Caption says 'We know you two made up, congratulations.' Y/n you need to be careful."
"I can't believe this is happening." You muttered as Giselle's jaw clenched. "If I see this darned blogger post again, I swear I'm gonna-!!" Ningning covered her mouth before she could finish.
You thanked the girls for letting you know about the post and returned inside. Your eyes scanned the area as you walked over to the couch only for it to be occupied by a familiar figure.
You looked around for potential suspects as you sat beside him. Heeseung laid on his back with a hand over his face. "Drank too much again?" You asked, as your hand ruffled his hair.
Heeseung tiredly opened his eyes, a lazy smile formed on his lips. "Yeah, you should've babysat me."
"Okay you giant baby, next time just warn me before coming to a party."
He nodded as closed his eyes back up as another wave of pain washed over him. He let out a low groan as you leaned down to whisper something inaudible in his ear. Heeseung seemed intrigued as his eyes stayed on your figure.
You smirked before leaning down again, as his arm wrapped around your neck to 'pull you closer'. You pulled away and wiped your lips as Heeseung grinned. "I'll text you later, get home safe or ask Sunoo to drive you." You said and began walking away. His voice stopped you.
"Wait! You're staying here?"
"Just for tonight. Bye Heeseung." You waved him goodbye before walking away.
The party ended around 3a.m. You were beyond exhausted as you crashed on Karina's couch in her room. Winter cuddled up next to you as you quickly drifted off to sleep.
•° `♡` °•
"OH MY FUCKING GOD!!?!"
A scream erupted from Giselle's mouth as you jumped in horror, no longer in deep sleep. Winter flinched awake next to you, looking around the room with wide eyes.
In a second the door burst open and Karina ran inside, a look of worry evident on her face. "What happened?!" She yelled as Giselle turned her phone to her.
Karina eyes visibly widened leaving you and Winter confused and worried. Karina looked at you, giving away what the panic was about. "What?"
You asked to not seem suspiscious. Giselle gave you a look of disapproval. "I told you to be careful and you go and KISS HEESEUNG INFRONT OF THE WHOLE PARTY!??!!"
Her scream left your ears ringing, you were pretty sure the whole neighbourhood heard about your 'kiss' with Heeseung. You weren't about to deny anything.
Giselle handed you her phone as she franticaly began running laps around the room. Winter scooted closer to you to get a better look.
The gossip blog posted a video last night at 2a.m. You were sitting next to Heeseung's laying figure, ruffling his hair, being all close to him. Then you leaned down, seemingly 'capturing his lips in a kiss' though none of it was visible.
You made sure of that. The fact that Heeseung wrapped his arm around you made it all the more believable. Winter's mouth hung open as Karina looked away. "What were you thinking?" Giselle spoke as you handed her phone back to her.
You acted surprised and worried as your hands fidggeted with your blanket. "Why won't you listen to us? We want what's best for you and not some freak posting about you twice a day!!" Giselle yelled again as Ningning walked into the room, with her phone in hand.
"Did yall see it-?"
"Yes we did."
"Y/n, do you like him? Is that why you kissed him or was it a mistake?" Karina crouched down infront of you, speaking in that motherly soft tone.
"I don't wanna talk about it." You answered and stood up. You were about to leave the room when Giselle blocked the door. "You're not going anywhere until we figure out what to do."
"Figure out what to do? This is my problem, okay? I'll handle it." You replied as she let out a laugh.
"Really? Like how you've been handling it up until now? Just say that you like him and we'll help you. Or if you don't like him, just stay the fuck away. Atleast then this blog post will leave you alone." Giselle said but you had to keep up the act.
"I'm not about to stay away from my best friend because of a blog post." You said as Giselle grabbed your wrist.
"Best friend my ass!! Who kisses their best friend?!"
The other girls just stayed silent and watched the two of you argue. You broke free from her grip and hurriedly left the room. One reason for that quick escape was that you couldn't hold in your laugh.
Your acting seemed to convince everyone that the kiss was real. You packed your things and went out the door, still acting upset.
•° `♡` °•
You spent the rest of the day attending classes and trying to reach Heeseung's cell. But everytime you called it went straight to voicemail. When the call finally went through you mentally cheered.
"Hello Heeseung-?"
"Y/n? He's not here."
You heard Jungwon's voice from the other side. Your brows furrowed as you spoke. "Do you know where he might be?"
"I'm not sure, he left the basketball club too. He has to be around the court somewhere."
Your stomach dropped at his words. Heeseung wouldn't just leave the club for no reason, it made no sence. You ended the call and ran to the back building. And that's when you found him.
Heeseung sat on the floor, leaning against the wall for support. You approached the side of the wall, careful not to make any noise as you analyzed his figure fully. You couldn't help but let out a gasp, instantly running over to his side.
"What the hell happened to you?!"
You tried not to show how much you were panicking but your expression gave it away. Heeseung looked completely beat up, blood dripping from his nose like a broken faucet, his busted lip from last night somehow looked even worse. There were a bunch of scratches and bruises across his arms.
His head was down, jaw clenched as he silently dealt with the pain. "Heeseung talk to me, please."
You pleaded and touched his hand. He remained unresponsive. You took out the emergency kit from your backpack and instantly got to work treating his injuries. You sat down next to him, not caring if your jeans got ruined against the concrete floor.
His hair was all over the place, messy bangs covering his forehead, but that didn't stop beads of sweat from forming. You poured some water on a clean cloth and placed it on his upper arm. You carefully rubbed and cleaned the blood off.
"Hee... please let me take you home."
He shook his head slightly. "Then let's go to my dorm. Come on, your injuries are serious. Just let me help you." You said again, tugging at his basketball jersey. He didn't reply as your frustration grew by the second.
"Who did this to you?"
You lifted your hand to gently touch his cheek. You carefully pushed his hair out of his eyes as he finally looked at you. His eyes displayed a mix of way to many emotions. Anger, disappointment, sadness. They were red and barely open as he desperately tried to fight the drowsy feeling.
Your heart burned at the sight but there was no use in crying. He needed you, wheather he admitted it or not and you would help him no matter what he said.
You grabbed his chin and lifted the cloth to his nose. You wiped the blood off his nose, cheek and lastly began cleaning his lip. He suddenly grabbed your wrist, stopping your movement.
"Just leave."
His voice came out hoarse and low. He dropped your wrist and turned to the side, attempting to stand up with the help of the wall. He leaned against it, while clutching his abdomen in pain.
You had seriously had enough. You packed your med kit and stood up, walking over infront of him to knock some sence into him. "What the hell is wrong with you? You don't answer your phone, don't reply to any of my texts. I find out from Jungwon that you left the basketball club. I'm your best friend, you have to talk to me. That's what I'm here for and you can't just push me away and tell me to leave. I won't do it!!"
You finally let your frustrations and anger out. Heeseung didn't look at you, but his knee gave out as he fell back on the floor. You gasped quickly rushing to grab his arm. He sat back down, head thrown back against the wall. His eyes closed as if he needed a second to think.
You sat down next to him, waiting. "Just say something okay? Just one word..." You pleaded feeling less and less hopeful by the second.
You did say crying was pointless, but the tears just formed in your eyes without warning. You blinked them away and and let out a shaky sigh. You gently laid your forehead against his chest, closing your eyes. Your hand lifted next to you to clutch his jersey tightly.
You stayed like that for a few minutes, the concrete begining to hurt your knees. Your world flipped upside down when you felt his hand on your back, rubbing soothing circles with his thumb.
You looked up at his face, which was slightly more relaxed than before. "Let me help you." You whispered quietly and stood up. Heeseung oblidged, as you grabbed his hand to support him.
You placed his arm around your shoulder and wrapped an arm around his waist. He was visibly limping at your side.
•° `♡` °•
When you finally made back to your dorm, you couldn't be happier. The fact that Wonyoung wasn't there only made things simpler.
You two walked into your bedroom as you gently laid Heeseung on your bed. He let out a low grunt, eyes closing the second his head touched your pillow. "Don't fall asleep on me." You called out from the bathroom, before returning with a bowl of cold water.
You cleaned his arms and then his face while Heeseung let out small hums and grunts. "Sit up."
He ignored you.
"Heeseung, sit up right now." You said sternly as he sighed, hissing a bit as he leaned against the headboard.
You scooted to his side to apply oilment to his lip. You placed some on your finger before gently running it across his bottom lip. His mouth parted slightly as he let out a breath.
You did the same to the bruise on his cheek as your best friend lifted his shirt to look at the bruise on his abdomen. Your eyes widened at the dark purple spot forming on the side of his stomach.
He groaned in pain as you instructed him to lay back down. "Heeseung, you should really get that checked out."
"Nooo." He whined like a kid and grabbed your wrist. You removed his grip and gently rubbed the area with oilment. Heeseung groaned as a strained gasp exitted his lips. His nose scrunched in pain as your gentle and cold fingers made contact with his burning skin.
Once you patched him up, he zoned out, staring up at the ceiling with a blank expression. "You gonna tell me what happened now?" You asked, arms crossed over your chest.
His lips formed a straight line as he shook his head slightly. You sighed at his childish behavior and grabbed his ear, ready to pull it. Heeseung instantly gasped, clutching your wrist like you were about to rip his ear off.
"Okay okay I'll tell you."
He surrendered as you let him go. He let out a sigh while fidgetting with his fingers.
"Fine, I'll start, Who did that to you?"
Heeseung went silent. Your gaze made him all the more nervous. "Not gonna say anything?"
You could see his expression shifting, his lips turned downwards just a tiny bit, but even that detail didn't go unnoticed by you. You sighed, feeling like a mum handling a moody teenager.
You climbed off the bed and headed to the bathroom. "Fine we'll talk about it in the mornin-"
"I got kicked off the basketball team. Or more specifically out of the club." He said causing you to freeze in your tracks. You turned around with wide eyes. "Heeseun--"
"I got into a fight with this guy and the coach was pissed. He didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore. That's it." By the time he finished talking you were next to him.
You reached out to hold his hand as he looked down. "Why did you get into a fight with him?" You asked softly, not wanting to pressure him into speaking.
Heeseung sniffled and wiped his face with his sleeve. "He started dating Chaewon and you know how I feel about that."

The rest of Heeseung's birthday dinner was... awkward to say the least. Your mind kept replaying the scene in your head like a broken record. You even zoned out a few times and Sunoo had to pinch your side to get your attention.
When it was finally over, you said goodbye to Mr and Mrs. Lee. You, Jake and Sunoo walked over to the door, ready to go back to campus. You glanced back one last time, regretting not saying goodbye to Heeseung.
And that's when he looked in your direction, his expression unreadable. Your mouth went dry, this was it. Heeseung hated the sight of you. Then his lips curled into the cutest smile and there was no mistake, it was directed at you.
You may have overreacted a bit. You smiled back and got into Sunoo's car.
"Oh my fucking god." You breathed out just as Jake sat in the backseat and Sunoo started the engine. The two looked at you like you were crazy.
"What happened?" Sunoo asked as you sunk into the passanger's seat, wanting to disappear completely.
"You two can NOT tell anyone about this okay?" You explained and gave them the sternest look. Jake looked like he'd seen a fucking ghost. He raised his hands in surrender.
"Yeah okay!"
He stated as Sunoo raised a brow. "Just say it bitch!!" He yelled, getting impatient with your hesitation.
"I kissed Heeseung!!"
You screamed out like you were trying to tell the whole world and of course you instantly regretted it. Sunoo hit the breaks like a maniac, eyes blown wide with shock.
Jake almost fell into the front seat at the harsh stop, grabbing the seats infront of him. "WHAT?!?" He screamed back, jaw on the floor.
"Are you fucking crazy!?!?" You yelled at Sunoo as he stared at the steering wheel. "I'm gonna park this car and you're gonna explain yourself." He stated in an oddly calm tone.
You sunk into your seat, arms crossed on your chest. "It was an accident, I fell on him and it just... happened."
"Oh this is bad." Jake muttered and quickly covered his mouth. You groaned loudly, feeling hopeless and like a complete idiot. Sunoo rubbed his forehead, trying to come up with a proper responce.
"So what? Your lips just touched, it's fine."
You looked up at him, tears forming in your eyes. "Really?" You asked, voice quiet.
"You two have shared water bottles and drinks before. It's kinda like that." Sunoo's words calmed you down slightly. Your lips formed a straight line.
"Wait wasn't that Heeseung's first kis--"
Sunoo quickly covered Jake's mouth, eyes wide in shock. Your face dropped in an instant and a scream erupted from your mouth. "WHAT!?!??!"
"Calm down, it's no big deal." Sunoo tried explaining as he smacked Jake's head. The boy in the back chuckled innocently.
"NO BIG DEAL?! It's a first kiss. Oh my god my life is over."
•° `♡` °•
You couldn't sleep that night. Not because of the kiss, but because it was Heeseung's first. You were his first. You couldn't even imagine what he felt, or maybe it didn't bother him at all? You weren't about to ask and find out.
Instead you rolled around in bed, torturing yourself the whole night. You wanted to text him, maybe apologize again but every time you tried you deleted the message.
The next day you looked like a corpse. Wonyoung looked concerned and noticed you weren't even in the mood to talk about it. Instead she helped you cover up your dark circles with makeup. You were forever grateful to her.
You didn't see Heeseung that day. Or the day after. You were slightly relieved, or disappointed?
You found out from Sunoo that Heeseung had major exams coming up and he was in his dorm studying. Did you believe it? Not really no, but it was better than finding out the truth.
And before you knew two weeks had passed. Two weeks without meeting up with Heeseung. He texted you a few times, something short. You would reply with even shorter texts.
Everything just felt awkward. And yes you were totally ignoring him, so that part was on you. You sighed for hundredth time that day as Giselle rolled her eyes. She pinched your side, giving you a glare.
"Please just relax. Stop sighing every second." She said as you plopped down on the bed.
You and the girls were at Karina's place, preparing for the biggest party of the season. You wore your devil costume, while giselle placed her hair into pigtails. She swung a bat over her shoulders.
She was dressed as harley quinn. "You know, if one kiss is enough to break your friendship, maybe it wasn't meant to be after all."
You glared at the girl as she backed off, smiling sheepishly. "Okay okay, that was a joke. Now on the serious note, talk to him. Today. Don't postpone it." Giselle said as you nodded hesitantly.
You indeed kept putting off your conversation with him. You and Giselle headed downstairs, warming up with a few pre-party drinks.
You five finalized the costumes and took a few pictures for memories. Karina was dressed as the queen of hearts, Ningning was a black swan and Winter chose to be the doll from squid game.
Soon enough the place started filling up with guests. Karina got busy at the entrance, greeting every person that walked in. You and Ningning stood in the kitchen, pouring more drinks for yourselves. Jake stumbled in followed by Jay, who looked done with life. You greeted him with a wave as drunk Jake noticed you.
"Heyyyyy you!!"
He almost tripped while walking towards you as you caught his arm. He gave you the biggest smile as Jay shook his head. "Sorry about him. Jake let's go."
You watched as the two walked off while arguing over something. Time passed by quick, it was almost midnight. You sat between Ni-ki and Sunghoon, chatting about everyone's costumes.
Sunoo and Jungwon approached the couch, one holding more bottles of alcohol, while the other dumped snacks on the coffee table infront of you. Sunoo sat down on an armchair across from you, as Jungwon took a seat next to Ni-ki.
"Everyone's costumes are so basic this year." Sunoo commented as he made a disgusted face at a person passing by. You laughed at his expressions. "Not me though right?" You asked, a sly smirk forming on your lips.
"Of course not, you devil. You always shock me." Sunoo said as you smiled at him. Ni-ki suddenly spoke up.
"You don't got an angel?"
His question made your heart stop. Right... your 'angel' was suppost to be Heeseung. Until everything got fucked up with an accidental kiss. All of them looked at you, as you clicked your tongue. "I don't have an angel."
You excused yourself from the area and went to the front porch, hoping to get some air and get away from all the chaos. You leaned against the railing with your elbows, eyes scanning the living room from the window.
Your eyes somehow landed on him. You didn't even know he'd be here. He wasn't with any of his friends, just stood alone, leaning against a wall. Heeseung wore white, in contrast to your all dark costume. He wore the angel costume, a headband with a halo on his head.
Your heart warmed at the sight. Somehow it gave you hope, maybe your friendship wasn't so doomed after all.
That's when he glanced in your direction, eyes landing on your figure. His face stayed the same, unreadable. He brought his cup to his mouth and took a sip, his adam's apple moving slightly.
You don't know why you noticed that, or why your eyes even went there. You looked down, avoiding his gaze at all costs. When you finally gathered the courage to do so he was gone.
•° `♡` °•
Heeseung was avoiding you.
You could tell.
Everytime you found him in the crowd and took a step towards him, He'd bolt to another room or suddenly disappear from your side.
You were about to follow him into the kitchen when Hyunjin greeted you happily, blocking your path. Your eyes followed your best friend as he refilled his drink.
"Hey Y/n, how've you been?" Hyunjin spoke as you quickly gave him a fake smile. When he noticed your attention was on something else, he looked in the kitchen.
This situation couldn't be worse. Heeseung leaned against the counter, sipping his drink and watching your interaction with Hyunjin. It didn't help that you two were wearing matching costumes.
He eyed your best friend, then you. "Can we talk?" Hyunjin whispered to you, but you weren't about to let Heeseung get away again.
"I'm sorry, not right now."
You tried walking past Hyunjin, but he grabbed the side of your shoulder. "Y/n why aren't you taking us seriously? You always push me away, how is that fair?"
You stepped back when he grabbed your waist, his breath reeked of alcohol. How did you not notice that he was drunk out of his mind? "Hyunjin you're drunk. Let's talk later."
You tried pushing him to the side but his gripped your wrist firmly. "No I said now!!" He yelled as your face twisted in disgust. He did not just do that. He leaned closed trying to close the distance between you two.
You pushed Hyunjin hard as he went crashing into the kitchen Island behind him. "Don't fucking yell at me." You spat and walked over to Heeseung.
His eyes hadn't left you even for a second. With Hyunjin getting on your nerves and Heeseung avoiding you, It was safe to say your blood was boiling. You grabbed your best friend's wrist, much harsher than ever before.
He didn't protest and let himself get away dragged by you. None of you spoke as you sqeezed past the crowd of dancing people. Suddenly your grip on Heeseung loosened. You looked back to see Hyunjin storming over.
You could only mentally curse as you got shoved back by the crowd. The drunk boy bumped into Heeseung. He stayed calm at first, trying not to start a fight with him. Hyunjin 'accidentaly' spilled fruit punch on him.
Heeseung's jaw clenched. He wanted to walk away, really but the smug look on Hyunjin's face and the way he treated you earlier made him snap. Heeseung punched him hard in the jaw.
The crowd gasped as he landed on the floor. Everyone stepped back, clearing the way for a potential fight. "Stay down." Heeseung said as you finally walked up to him.
"What's wrong with you?!"
You whisper-yelled and shoved his shoulder. You crouched down to Hyunjin's level, about to ask if he was okay, But he just jumped to his feet and pounced on your best friend. You heard people screaming and gasping as the two landed on the floor, knocking over a table full of drinks.
Sunghoon and Jay ran out from the crowd, about to seperate the two when Hyunjin landed a nasty blow to Heeseung's cheek. He returned the punch instantly, causing the other to fall on his knees.
Sunghoon grabbed him by the shoulders, pushing him back, yelling to stop the meaningless fight. "Calm down!! Just walk away."
Jay stood between the two, letting Hyunjin stand up on his own. He wiped his bloody mouth and glanced at you. From the looks of it, the punch sobered him up. Heeseung was still furious, shoving Sunghoon to the side to attack the boy again.
"Enough dude!" Jay yelled before harshly shoving Heeseung. He stumbled back as his friends grabbed a hold of him, dragging him away to a different room.
"That's your angel?" Ni-ki muttered from beside you. You hadn't even noticed him.
"Shut up."
•° `♡` °•
You glanced in the direction of the kitchen. Heeseung stood near the window, head down as he got scolded by Jungwon and Jay. You saw Jay sigh and shake his head in disappointment. A few minutes later they left him alone.
You took this chance to finally get some alone time with him. He didn't look at you when you walked in, just kept his head down. Only when you opened Karina's freezer did he look up, eyeing your figure.
Your costume turned out better than he ever expected.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when you placed an ice pack on his cheek. He shuddered, letting out a slight hiss. Heeseung's eyes met yours, but your attention quickly shifted to his bruised cheek.
You lifted your fingers to gently touch his skin. He flinched slightly but then relaxed under your fingers. You heard footsteps enter the kitchen, but didn't care enough to move.
You glanced at Sunoo as his eyes widened. Heeseung also looked up with half-lidded eyes. "Shit, sorry, my bad."
He quickly walked away.
You looked up at Heeseung and began walking towards the stairs. You didn't speak, he didn't either, but he followed you upstairs with no complaints or questions. You only hoped he felt guilty for beating up your date.
You walked into a random bedroom and took a seat on the bed. Heeseung closed the door behind him, trapping all the tension in the room. You weren't sure how to go about the situation as he leaned against the door, waiting.
"Come here."
Your voice came out soft, soft enough to make Heeseung question your anger, but he knew better. He sat next to you as you turned to face him, grabbing the ice pack from his hands.
You pulled him closer by the collar, keeping your hand there for support. You placed the ice pack on cheek as gently as you could. Your eyes scanned his injuries and landed on his busted lip.
His lips parted, as if he wanted to say something, but you didn't let him. You placed your hand on his chin, thumb grazing his bottom lip.
His breathing stopped, His tongue tied in his mouth from shock.
"How long do you plan on ignoring me?" You breathed out quietly, looking up to read something in his eyes.

You were getting ready for a date when Heeseung texted you. After gifting you a new phone he constantly messaged you, almost twice as much as before the pool incident. You were about to reply when your door opened.
Your best friend stood there with a raised brow as he took in your appearance. "Wherr are you going?" He asked in a teasing tone as you did a little spin for him.
"On a blind date. Ningning set me up with someone from college."
"A blind date huh? You look good." He answered as you smiled. You stood infront of your mirror trying to zip the back of your dress. Heeseung must've noticed you struggling. He walked over and took the zipper from your hands.
You watched through the mirror as he gently zipped the dress, his warm fingers accidently making contact with your skin. You tried to play it off by fixing your hair as he backed off.
"Call me if anything happens, okay?" Heeseung said as you nodded. He quite literaly begged to drive you to the restaurant in Sunoo's car, but you refused each time.
That's how you ended up in the restaurant infront of Hyunjin, mouth still agape from shock.
When you first walked in your eyes scanned the place, looking for your blind date. That's when you spotted him sitting alone at a table, checking his watch periodicaly.
You walked past his table as his eyes landed on you. You knew Hyunjin from dance club and had to admit, you were expecting everyone but him. He embraced you tightly still unaware that you were his date.
"What are you doing here?"
"Apparantly I'm on a date with you." You answered as his face lit up. He instantly pulled your chair out and signaled for him to sit. You smiled at his action and sat down. Hyunjin also took his seat and smiled back.
•° `♡` °•
The date went extremely smoothly, you and Hyunjin had too many things in common and didn't even have enough time to talk about them. Once you left the restaurant you noticed how the weather had worsened. "Here, let me take you home."
He took off his jacket and placed it on your shoulders. You thanked him and looked up at the rainy sky again. You had no choice but to accept his invitation to drive you.
Once you were back home you turned your phone on, somehow you had ignored 9 calls from Heeseung.
You called him back after taking a shower. He answered almost instantly.
"Are you okay??"
The concern in his voice surprised you. "Yeah why wouldn't I be?" You answered as Heeseung sighed on the other end of the line.
"Why didn't you answer my calls?"
"That was my bad, my phone was turned off." You admitted and plopped down on your bed to dry your hair.
"You want me to pick you up? How'd the date go?"
Heeseung attacked you with a bunch of questions as you chuckled lightly. "I'm home already. Hyunjin drove me." There was an unusually long silence, to the point where you thought the call disconnected. "Hello?"
"I'm sorry Hyunjin!?!? What?"
"Oh right!! My date turned out to be him. Crazy coincidence--!" You spoke excitedly when he suddenly hung up. Your smile dropped as you looked at your phone screen. You tried calling him back but he didn't answer.
You had to admit you were a bit disappointed. A few minutes later your door burst open. Your eyes widened as Heeseung shut the door behind him and sat down on your bed. "Tell me everything right now."
He spoke, still out of breath from running all the way from his dorm to yours. Your shocked face shifted into a smile as you sat down infront of him. "So basically, I called Ningning right after the date and she told me that Hyunjin has wanted to go out with me for a while. She and Ni-ki set us up."
You said and watched Heeseung's mouth open and close. His lips then formed a straight line. You smacked his arm and giggled. "Oh come on, don't give me that look."
"Fine, I don't know Hyunjin that well so I can't really say anything. But as long as your happy..." He said as you smiled and pulled him into a tight hug.
"Aww thanks bestie."
He scoffed at the nickname and poked your side. "Don't ever call me that again."
The rest of the night you two spent playing video games (Heeseung destoyed you in every single one). You finally got fed up with losing and surrendered the joystick. Instead you entertained yourself with your phone, suddenly remembering the halloween party at Karina's.
"Yo, you coming to Karina's on halloween right?" You asked as Heeseung glanced at you. His attention went back to the computer screen.
"Uh I'm not sure. I'm going to Jay's on the 30th."
"You mean depends on how much you drink." You clarified while rolling your eyes. He grinned widely and nodded. "Exactly. What costume are you even gonna wear?" He asked as you stood up and pulled out the chair he was sitting on.
He was about go protest when you got infront of him, both hands resting on the chair's armrests. He raised a brow in confusion. "I was thinking maybe an angel? Or a devil."
"You're more like a devil, now move." Heeseung pushed you out of the way and scooted back to the computer. You rollef your eyes. "Just say you wanna be the angel and be done with it."
His ears perked up at that. His head snapped towards you. "What? We're matching?"
"Duhhh."
Your best friend turned his game off, finally giving you 100% of his attention. "Why don't you match with your boyfriend?" Heeseung commented with crossed arms.
"He's not my boyfriend yet and I don't even know if Karina invited him." You answered.
"Well surely she did."
"I don't care, we're matching this year." You threw a pillow at him as he groaned. "Fine, I'll be an angel, you be a devil." He said sarcastically.
•° `♡` °•
You sat next to Hyunjin on a wooden bench, lost in thought. The boy noticed you zoning out and tapped your shoulder. "What are you thinking about?" He asked with a tiny smirk.
"Sorry, I just need to pick a gift for a friend's birthday. No ideas so far." You explained.
"Which friend? Maybe I can help."
"It's Heeseung. You probably don't know him well." You glanced at Hyunjin's face, not failing to notice how his facial expression changed and instantly went back to normal. He smiled and stood up.
"You're right, I don't know him. Let's go get ice cream." He suggested as you nodded, but since then an uneasy feeling lingered in your chest. At the end of the date you hugged Hyunjin and waved him goodbye.
You were about to walk away when he grabbed your hand, turning you back to him. Your eyes widened slightly as he leaned in closer, clearly hoping you'd kiss him. You quickly gave him a side hug and jogged off, not wanting to stay there longer.
You walked into your dorm after the date, slightly cringing at the last interaction. Wonyoung greeted you with a smile. "How'd your date go?"
"Don't even ask." You chuckled softly as she did the same. You had been telling Wonyoung everything about Hyunjin recently and she knew the two of you hadn't kissed yet.
"Let me guess... he tried to--"
"It was so emberrassing!!" You exclaimed while cutting her off. She giggled at your reaction as you went to your room.
Heeseung sat on your bed, ears perked up because of your sudden yell. He raised a brow at you. "What was emberrassing?"
Your lips pressed into a thin line as you explained the situation to him. You could clearly tell he was holding in his laugh, eventually you got annoyed with him. "Seriously stop making that face!!" You smacked his knee as he finally burst out laughing.
"I'm sorry, he must feel like shit right now!!" He said and almost lost his balance from laughing too much. You pouted in frustration and pushed him off the bed. He landed on his ass, still filling the room with his giggles.
Soon they rubbed off on you like always.
•° `♡` °•
You and Sunoo walked into Heeseung's parents' house. Your best friends' birthday had been an event you've been looking forward to the most. You greeted Sunghoon, Jake and Ni-ki as they conversed with Mr. Lee.
You greeted the man you considered your second father with a hug. He gave you the sweetest smile. Then you walked into the kitchen, Greeting Jay and Jungwon as they carried dishes to the dinner table.
Mrs. Lee was preparing dinner, a white apron around her waist as she suddenly spotted you. Her eyes lit up like fireworks as you ran over to hug her. She embraced you tightly, strocking your hair lovingly.
"Oh sweatheart, it's been so long."
You insisted on helping her plate the dishes and carry them to the table. In a few minutes everyone was gathered around the table as Mr. Lee raised his glass in the air.
Only then did he realise that his son, the birthday boy was nowhere to be seen. Mrs. Lee gave you a look as you got up from your seat and went upstairs, your gift for Heeseung in hand.
You carefully opened his door and peaked inside. Heeseung stood infront of his full-length mirror, clearly struggling to fix his tie. His lips were in a small pout as he concentrated on the task at hand. He let out a groan after another failed attempt.
You couldn't help but chuckle as his wide eyes locked on you. "Heyy, why didn't you tell me you were here?" He asked and took big steps to give you a hug.
You returned the gesture and closed the door behind you. You placed his gift on the bed and signaled him to come closer. He did as told, as you grabbed his collar and did his tie. "There." You breathed out and dusted his shirt.
Heeseung smiled and looked at his reflection in the mirror, then his eyes landed on the gift box wrapped in his favorite color. You tutted at him. "Not now."
"Oh come on, I can't wait." He whined like a kid and reached out to grab it. You blocked his path and grabbed his wrist. "Heeseung don't--!"
He playfully shoved you to the side and picked up the box. He opened the bow and was about to look inside when you covered his eyes with your hands, pouncing on his back to stop him.
Heeseung yelped as the box slipped from his fingers and landed on the floor. He lost his balance, taking you down with him. Before you hit the ground his hand flew to your waist while the other grabbed the back of your head.
With a loud thud your body collided with the floor. Your eyes widened as Heeseung landed on top of you, his lips accidentaly touching yours. You felt time freeze for a good minute before he quickly backed away and scrambled to his feet.
You sat up feeling dazed and confused. The situation hadn't fully registered in your brain yet as you noticed Heeseung's face turning more red by the second. You tongue was caught in your mouth, unable to form a proper sound let alone a sentence.
Your best friend wiped his face a few times and sighed. He turned back around to help you stand up. You hesitantly grabbed his hand, feeling guilty at how flustered he looked.
"I'm sorr-"
"I'm gonna open the present now and you can't say anything."
You instantly shut your mouth as he grabbed the box, before giving you a look. You sighed and let him open it. He took out a basketball jersey in his favorite color with the number 01 and his name on the back. His jaw dropped as he glanced at you.
"This is-!"
"There's more." You announced as he took out another jersey, a slightly smaller version. Your name and the numbet 02 was on it. You could see the excitement in his eyes.
He suddenly placed the items down and hugged you. You had thought that the kiss would make things too awkward between you two, but his warm embrace made you forget all about it.
He whispered a small thank you as his bedroom door burst open. Sunoo and Jungwon peaked inside. "Can you guys hurry up? We wanna eat." Sunoo complained as Heeseung pulled away from you.
"Yeah yeah, go eat." He shooed the two out of the room.
He gave you one last look before you two headed downstairs.

The word awkward didn't even begin to describe how Heeseung felt when he brought you to your dorm. He tried unlocking the door with your keys, completely forgetting that you had a roommate.
The door opened and Heeseung came face-to-face with Wonyoung. Her eyes widened for a second as they landed on you, comfortably sleeping against your best friend's neck.
Heeeseung carried you on his back, mentaly sighing when you eventually stopped drunk-yapping and fell asleep. Heeseung hesitated, his mouth opened and closed back up.
"Is she-?"
"Drunk and tired."
He finished her sentence. Wonyoung moved to the side, letting him into the dorm. "Sorry this must be really awkward." He muttered hesitantly.
The girl smiled and closed the door. "It's no big deal, really. You need help tucking her in?" Wonyoung asked as Heeseung slowly relaxed at her carefree attitude.
"I got it, thanks."
Heeseung walked into your room and carefully placed you down on your bed. He knew how much you hated laying in bed with outside clothes, but couldn't bring himself to undress you without your knowledge.
He tapped your shoulders at first, then gently shook it after realising you weren't even close to waking up. "Y/n wake up."
You opened your eyes in exhaustion and pushed Heeseung's hand to the side. "Let me sleep." You mumbled as he grabbed your shoulders and made you sit up. "Wake up right now and put on your pajamas." He said in a more stern voice making you scowl.
He brought over your night clothes as you lazily pulled your shirt off. Heeseung looked away, patiently waiting for you to finish changing.
After what seemed like an eternity he glanced at you in the corner of his eye. You were already fast sleep, fully clothed in your pajamas. Heeseung smiled to himself at your soft snores, he placed the blanket over your body and gently placed a strand of your hair behind your ear.
Then he quietly slipped out of the room. He noticed Wonyoung in the kitchen, drinking water. She turned to him and eyed the door to your room. "Is she feeling well?"
"Yeah, for now. We'll see about tomorrow." Heeseung said with a chuckle. Wonyoung also smiled. "I'll be over in the morning, I hope you don't mind." He added as the girl shook her head.
"Of course not, you're welcome to come over whenever you'd like." Wonyoung said as Heeseung walked over to the door. The two said goodbye to each other as he returned to his dorm.
•° `♡` °•
The next morning you woke up with a pouding headache. One so bad, that you instantly wished you hadn't woken up. Your attempts at going back to sleep proved useless as you sat up, holding your head like it was about to fall off.
You lazily put on a black hoodie and walked out of your room. Your eyes instantly landed on your roommate and best friend, Both were seated on the couch smiling at each other as their conversation flowed like water.
Heeseung's eyes darted to you at the sound of your door closing. His lips curled up into a grin at your state. He walked over and pulled your hood down in a teasing manner. You scoffed silently and made your way to the kitchen.
Wonyoung followed after you, she looked slightly worried. "Want me to make you tea? Heeseung brought some over, they'll help with your hangover." She suggested as your grumpy mood slowly faded.
You gave her a nod and a smile full of gratitude. "Yeah, thank you so much." You answered and plopped down on the couch. Heeseung had been watching your interaction with Wonyoung. He sat next to you and offered some medicine.
You shook your head and leaned against the comfy cushions. Heeseung placed his arm around your shoulders, his hands gently massaged your sore muscles. You instantly melted into his touch, which didn't go unnoticed by him. You turned your back to him so his skilled hands could work their magic.
"I feel like a walking corpse." You muttered softly as he chuckled in amusement.
He leaned down slightly to reach your ear. "You look like one too." He teased but you late it slide for now, not having enough energy to snap back.
When Wonyoung came into view you sat up straight. Heeseung got the hint as his hands went limp on your shoulders. Your roommate placed the tea infront of you on the coffee table, followed by a plate full of her signature cookies.
Your mouth watered at the sight.
"You're literaly an angel." You said and grabbed the mug to warm your hands. Wonyoung flushed at your compliment, trying to supress the tiny smile forming on her lips.
You enjoyed the breakfast and suddenly felt less suicidal than before. Wonyoung had to get to her class as you returned to your room. Heeseung followed after you and plopped down on your bed like he owned it.
You questioned his empty schedule. "Don't you have class?"
"Not until the afternoon. Also we should go out for burgers tonight." He suggested as your face brightened.
"That's a good idea, Lee. What time?"
•° `♡` °•
The two of you split in the hallway as you walked into your English class. Giselle and Ningning sat in their usual spots, chatting about something till their noticed you. Ningning hurriedly waved you over, something between a grin and a smirk on her face.
You already had a bad feeling about this. You sat down next to Ningning as the two shared a look. "Are you two gonna tell me what happened?"
You asked, as suddenly Giselle placed her phone in your hands. Your brows furrowed as the college's gossip blog displayed on the screen. "Is this about that supply closet again?"
"Shut up and scroll down." Ningning instructed as your mouth fell open.
A picture of you and Heeseung sitting next to each other at last night's party was posted with the caption 'Doesn't look very friend-like to me.'
You touched your forehead regretting life choices once again, but more importantly this blogger/stalker had secretly taken pictures of you and Heeseung. Giselle scrolled down again.
The next post was also a picture of, you guessed it: you and Heeseung. This time he was carrying you on his back as he stood infront of your dorm. The caption said 'Don't let anyone touch your girl, Lee.'
You turned the phone off and placed it on the desk. You were stunned to say the least, how else were you suppost to react to a gossip blog posting about you for 2 days straight?
Ningning patted your back trying to look sympathetic but she was way too amused by the whole thing. "Someone is definetly shipping you two." She said as Giselle rolled her eyes.
"Any idea who the hell is secretly taking pictures of you?" She asked and grabbed her phone to get more information about the gossip blog.
"Not a clue." You answered and rested your head on the desk.
"We know they were at the party." Ningning stated, causing you and Giselle to look at her.
"Gee that helps a lot, it's not like a quarter of the school was there." You said sarcastically and watched as her lips turned up into a smirk.
"Hey we gotta start somewhere right? I'll look into the pictures people posted and create a list."
You chuckled softly at her excited expression. "If only you took your studies this seriously." Giselle said as you laughed. Ningning shook her head and began doing her magic.
By lunch you had texted Winter and Karina about the situation. The two had also seen the gossip post and were fuming at the person's audacity. So far Giselle had learned a few things about the blog, Karina had asked around campus and Ningning and Winter worked on the list of people that were at the party.
"There were 153 people at the party." Ningning stated as she sent the full list to the groupchat. Your eyes went wide and so did Karina's.
"Didn't seem like that much last night."
"Well this helps a lot, we've got 153 suspects." You said and took a bite of your food. Clearly you weren't very hopeful in finding the culprit.
"Nooo, The 5 of us are in the clear and so is Heeseung. That leaves us with 147 people." Winter said as Giselle furrowed her brows. She stopped the girl before she could continue. "Hold on, Why's Heeseung not a suspect?"
She asked as her eyes glanced around the table. You let out a scoff. "He didn't do it." You defended him.
"You can't be 100% sure, can you?" Giselle argued back as Karina opened her mouth to speak. "I can because he's literaly in the pictures next to me. They didn't look like selfies now did they?"
You had to admit, your tone came out a lot harsher than you originaly wanted it to. But all the frusration and rumors were getting to you, getting stalked was not fun. Karina cut in before Giselle could snap back.
"Okay enough you two! You're really gonna let some blog get to you like this? Let's cool off and continue this later." You all nodded as you offered an apology to Giselle. She smiled at you and gave you a side hug.

Heeseung couldn't hide his shocked face as Sunoo showed him the gossip blog post. None of his friends spoke as he glanced at them, as if he was searching for answers.
"What the hell is this?"
That's the only thing he could come up with. Jake sat down next to him, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "Dude, it's just gossip, you know that. Sunoo just wanted you to know, before you found out from someone else."
He said as Sunoo nodded. Jay read the captions a few more times and shook his head. "Who would do this?" He asked quietly.
Heeseung rubbed his temples and suddenly curious about how'd you react to these rumors. He abruptly stood up catching his friends off guard. He walked out of the classroom and headed to your lecture.
And that's when you saw him. Your best friend standing outside the window of your classroom, waving his hands around to catch your attention. You looked at the professor and then back at him, shooing him away with your hand.
He shook his head signaled that it was urgent. You groaned silently and made up an excuse to leave. A second later you were outside, storming over to Heeseung.
"What are you even thinking?"
You whisper-yelled and look around to make sure no one was watching. "You've seen it right?"
You knew instantly what he was talking about. After you gave a short nod, he continued. "Well? Are we gonna do something about it?"
You sighed and shrugged. "I don't know okay? It's already exhausting enough that someone might be watching and recording us. I think I have paranoia now." You admitted and sat down on the grass. Heeseung did the same as he suddenly got an idea.
"So we use that to our advantage."
His smirk told you all you needed to know. You raised a brow at him. "Yeah?"
"We'll play around with that stalker for a bit, you know, create tension. Be around each other in public so he'll have to post about it." Heeseung said and grinned as your lips curled upwards.
"Your brain surprises me sometimes." You said and stood up. He bowed like he recieved that as a compliment. "We're still on for burgers right?" You made sure as he nodded. "Yup, don't be late. Cause, you know, I can't call you."
You rolled your eyes at him and walked off.
•° `♡` °•
The burger spot you were meeting Heeseung at was your favorite spot of all time. Picture the most retro diner, neon signs both on the outside and inside, checkered floors, mustard yellow booth seats and bright red tables.
The vibes and the food were both amazing. You walked in through the door, the bell above it made a small ding sound. Heeseung looked up from his phone, eyes landing on you.
Meanwhile your eyes landed on the food infront of him. You basically sprinted to your spot opposite of him, devouring the food with your gaze alone. Your best friend chuckled and pushed one tray towards you.
"Dig in."
He announced as you smiled excitedly. He really knew your favorite dishes inside- out. Your burger was cooked to perfection, that with a side of crispy fries. And of course he didn't forget to order a vanilla milkshake for you to top it off.
Needless to say food made you happy and happy you equaled happy Heeseung. While you munched on your fries he opened his phone. Something in his gaze changed and you noticed instantly.
He tried playing it off, placing his phone screen down to avoid looking at it. You reached out to snatch his fries, maybe this would cheer him up. He caught your wrist and raised a brow. "Very slick of you." He said and shooed your hand away.
You backed off for now and kicked his leg under the table. Heeseung's brows furrowed. "What are you doing?"
"Trying to cheer you up? Forget about that stupid blog." You said as his eyes shifted to the table. He played with his food, avoiding eye contact.
"I'm trying.."
He muttered with a pout. You stepped on his foot to make him look up at you. He sighed at your stern gaze as his lips formed a line. "What do you expect? I'm curious about who'd want us together." Heeseung admitted as he sipped on his milkshake.
You thought for a moment, none of you knew anyone like that. In fact your friends quite literaly disliked his ass, especially after the pool incident. "I'm sure it's one of your friends."
"Oh? why's that?"
"Cause they hate to even see us next to each other, you think they'd ship us online? And on a blog too, for that matter?"
Heeseung hesitated while replying. "Okay good point."
"Let's change the subject."
Your best friend's face suddenly lit up. "Your roommate is really nice." He said as you squinted your eyes at him. He didn't notice it yet.
"Yeah, Wonyoung is pretty amazing. She makes killer cookies."
"Oh yeah, I tried some this morning. Tasted really fucking good."
Heeseung said as he dipped his fry in ketchup and ate it. You let out a short laugh in disbelief. "Lee Heeseung, you player!!" You abruptly stood up, hands on the table. His brows furrowed in confusion."
"What? What are you even talking about?" He asked and pinched your arm to make you sit back down. You let out a small wince and leaned in closer. "Someone has a little crush..." You teased and watched as Heeseung backed away from you. You smirked at his expression as he shook his head.
"I don't like her, I just said she's nice. Besides I met her yesterday."
"Yeah yeah, Keep telling yourself that."
"Oh actually, I just remembered something." Heeseung grabbed his backpack and unzipped it. He took out a small rectangular box and slid it towards you. Confusion was written all over your face.
"What is this? It's not my birthday yet, Heeseung."
He chuckled and urged you to open it. You hesitantly opened it as your mouth fell at what was inside. "No... you didn't."
You began and looked up to see his proud grin. The present he had given you was a new phone. You glanced between him and the phone, suddenly feeling overwhelmed. "You didn't. Is this a prank? Am I gonna open it and find nothing inside?"
Heeseung stood up and walked over to your side. He opened the box for you and took the phone out. "Oh it's very much real and It's yours." He handed it to you and smiled.
"I can't accept that, I mean I can but I'd feel way to bad." You pushed the phone back in his hands.
"I'm gonna feel bad if you don't take it. Please?"
Heeseung said and looked at you with his bambi eyes. You instantly melted at his request and slowly took the phone. He grinned widely once again and pulled you into a tight hug.
"You really thought I'd let you spend the rest of the year without a phone?" He asked and ruffled your hair.
"Uh yeah? This is wayy too expensive..."
"You can pay me back."
There was a playful glint in his eyes. He leaned in closer, turning his head to the side and tapped on his cheek. You shoved him back and tutted. "Absolutely not."
He pouted sadly as you let out a groan. "Gosh I hate you." You mumbled and signaled him to come closer. You grabbed his collar and placed a small peck on his cheek. You saw the look Heeseung had on his face when you pulled away.
A cocky smirk decorated his lips, then He genuinly smiled as you sprinted towards the door. "Hurry up!!"
"Yeah yeah."

A moan.
You and Heeseung immediately looked at each other. Your face scrunched in disgust as another moaning sound echoed through the room. "That wasn't you right?" He asked as you smacked his arm.
"Dude! Get a grip. Let's get outta here." You stood up to leave, but Heeseung broke into a fit of laughter. The moans were getting louder and louder.
"Get up right now or I'm leaving without you." You whisper-yelled and tip-toed towards the door. By then your ears were red from the second-hand emberrassement. You were about to leave when the door burst open. You instantly hid behind the it, mentally cursing your bad luck.
Heeseung instantly layed down on the floor and crawled over to you. You fought demons trying not to laugh as he kept glancing at the couple eating each other's faces. Your best friend finally got to your side, also holding in his laugh.
He pointed to the bathroom door as you nodded. You cringed as the couple 'talked dirty' to each other. Heeseung silently opened the door and went inside, you did the same and quickly made it out without being spotted.
Heeseung locked the door as you two burst out silent laughing. You collapsed on the floor from laughing too much as you tried blocking out the sound of two strangers fucking in the other room.
Heeseung shook his head, almost not believing what was happening to the two of you. "I guees today is all about fucking."
You smacked him across the head as he hissed. "Joke! It's a joke!" He whisper-yelled and smiled as you covered your ears with your hands.
"Come on you've never watched porn before?" He teased and sat down on the floor, next to you.
"Oh sure, but never live and in the same room." You answered sarcastically and pouted. You could've been partying and drinking, instead you're stuck here and forced to listen to some strangers fuck. The fact that Heeseung, the biggest freak on the planet was next to you didn't make things any better.
He zoned out for a second as you scowled in disgust. "Stop thinking about it, you freak!"
"They're fucking right there, how can I not??!" He defended himself as you rolled your eyes. The amount of frustration you felt was unreal. The girl's moans kept getting louder and louder, and nicknames like 'daddy' and 'master' rolled off her tongue like prayers.
You made a gagging sound as he chuckled. "What, you don't like nicknames?" He asked, hoping the conversation will distract you from you know what.
"I can't stand 'daddy' it's plain weird. Don't tell me you ask girls to call you that." You said without shame as his lips curled up into a smirk. "Depends, some are into it."
"Are you into it?"
Your question came out way more personal than you had intended. But you weren't about to show Heeseung that. You raised your eyerbrow at him, waiting for an answer.
"Honestly? It doesn't turn me on."
You mentally sighed and nodded. By then the couple were groaning and moaning like wild animals. The sounds made you roll your eyes again. That's when you felt Heeseung's hands on your ears.
You glanced up at him, confused at first, but then a smile of gratitude tugged at your lips. He was blocking those sounds from reaching your ears. You looked around the bathroom and suddenly had an idea.
"Won't you fit in that?"
You pointed to the small window high up on the outter wall. Heeseung walked over and looked out. "There's a balcony outside, we can get out. Come on."
He signaled you to climb out. "Why am I first?"
"So I can help you up."
You groaned quietly as he got on one knee, holding out his hand to support you. You stepped on his knee, wrapping one hand around his shoulder for balance. You still weren't tall enough to climb out. "You got another plan?"
You jumped down as Heeseung abruptly lifted you up by the waist, his hands held you tightly. Your face lit up as you got your torso out of the window. That's when the awkwardness of your position hit you. "Don't you dare look at my ass."
You warned as Heeseung let out a sigh.
"I kinda have to, you're quite literaly in my face." He admitted with a grin as you struggled to lift the bottom half of your body to reach the window.
"Don't fucking look."
"I won't look but I have to touch. I beg for forgiveness in advance." Before you could protest Heeseung lifted your ass and you finally fell on the other side. You glared up at him as dusted your skirt off.
"You just had to take the chance, didn't you?" You accused as he effortlessly landed on his feet. "You got me." He winked at you teasingly and looked down from the balcony, checking the height.
You were about to speak when he climbed onto the railing. "What the hell!?!? Get down from there-!!!"
He jumped without hesitation as you ran to check on him. Heeseung grinned and gave you a thumbs up. "Your turn."
He shouted up at you. You shook your head, laughing at how absurd he sounded. "You've officialy lost your goddamn mind."
"Just hurry up, I'll catch you." Heeseung said but that just made everything worse. "Somehow I'd rather fall into a garbage truck." You commented and crossed your arms.
"You'd really rather stay there and listen to them all night?" His words made you hesitate. You cursed under your breath and climbed onto the railing. "If I break my neck you're paying for my hospital bills."
You said and took a deep breath. He raised his arms, giving you a confident smile. "You trust me?"
"Absolutely fucking not."
"Then jump!"
•° `♡` °•
The fall was a lot shorter and comfortable than you had expected. Or maybe it was just the fact that you fell right on top of Heeseung. He cushioned your fall and let out a low groan. "Ow."
Your eyes fluttered open, taking in the glass under the moonlight. You had no intention of moving anytime soon.
"You're lucky I didn't eat that cake, otherwise you'd be in more pain."
"Got it.."
Heeseung closed his eyes again, too exhausted to move. He did plan to kick you off of him but he'd rather not listen to your complaints right now. You also closed your eyes, suddenly hyper aware of every place your body touched his.
You pressed the side of your face against his chest, feeling his heartbeat in your ear. Your legs were taggled up in his, one hand rested against his bicep. You let out a low hum, somehow enjoying his warm embrace a little too much.
"By the way, my hand is on your ass again." Heeseung suddenly spoke. His voice sounded too calm compared to what he said.
"Well then get it off." You said, not in an angry type of way, but more in a 'then what are you waiting for' way. "Can't. I'm too comfortable." He mumbled quietly.
His other hand rested on your waist. "I am too but my hand isn't on your ass." You said and lifted your head to look at him. Heeseung felt your head leave his chest. He opened one eye and raised a brow. "But it is on my bicep."
"You can touch my bicep too, just let go of my ass."
"You don't even have a bicep."
"Yeah I do!!"
You shifted again and used your hands to lift your body off of him. Heeseung gruntted and wrapped his arms around your waist. With one swift move he brought you back down against him. A gasp left your lips as your body landed a bit too harshy against him.
Heeseung regretted using too much of his strength as you gulped. "Don't do that again." You said and moved your knee to get comfortable. If he wasn't letting you leave, the least you could do was be comfy.
You felt Heeseung sqeeze your side, and that's when you knew you fucked up. You glanced up at his face, his brows were furrowed deeply, lips slightly agape. A low sound exitted left his mouth.
"Don't move.. please."
He said, voice laced with something you couldn't quite make out, but it sent shivers down your spine. "You're so annoying." You grumbled and layed back down in your original position.
He let out a chuckle. A few seconds later he spoke again.
"You can move now."
You moved slowly, making sure not to put Heeseung in another awkward situation. You climbed off of him and sat on the grass. He layed there for a split-second, his arm on his forehead. You tapped his hand, glancing down at his face.
"You good?"
He smiled and nodded before sitting up. He cracked his back and groaned at his sore muscles. "You know, you're heavier than you look."
You glared at him and clapped back. "And you're weaker than you look." He grinned, not letting to get away with that insult. The two of you stood up and began walking towards the entrance of the house.
"What color panties are you wearing? Red right?"
Heeseung suddenly said making you whip your head towards him. He smirked at your reaction as you smacked his head hard. "Shut up pervert!! Forget that you ever saw that." You said and speed walked away from him.
Heeseung chuckled as your figure disappeared from his sight. He smiled to himself and shoved his hands in his pockets.
•° `♡` °•
The rest of the night was a complete blur of dancing wildly with your friends and drinkig till the whole room spun in circles. Jake somehow convinced everyone to compete in drinking. As if all of you needed even more of it.
Giselle went up against Jay and on the count of three both of them brought two full bottles of alcohol to their mouths. You frowned in disappointment as Giselle stopped chugging to take a breath. Karina absolutely destroyed Sunghoon and Ningning and Jungwon tied, both stopped drinking at the same time.
You stood opposite of Sunoo, determined to show him who's the real champion and best drinker. "Ready, set, go!!" Ni-ki yelled as you began chugging.
After a few seconds Sunoo stopped and wiped his mouth, a sour expression formed on his face. "Just so you know I let you win." He defended his loss as you stuck your tongue out at him.
Winter and Jake competed next but things took a slight turn. The girl stopped in the middle of the competition and ran to the bathroom. You were all left confused and worried.
Karina knocked on the bathroom door, checking up on her. "Can we come in?" You asked.
"Just you two."
Ningning and Giselle blocked the door so Heeseung's nosy friends didn't take a peak. You went into the bathroom and chuckled at Winter's pouty expression. Karina instructed her to take off her jacket, which had a large vomit stain on it. She rinsed it in the sink while you held Winter's hair in a make-shift ponytail.
She puked one more time before Karina (forcebly) took her home. The eldest offered to take you too, but you decided to stay a bit longer.
You made you way to the living room, where the number of people had drastically decreased. You sat down on the couch, the day's exhaustion catching up to you in an instant.
The couch suddenly shifted next to you, with a raised brow you glanced to the side and chuckled silently. "What's funny?" Heeseung asked knowing damn well you were drunk out of your mind.
"You. I just remembered how you jumped from the balcony and gave me a heartattack." You admitted as he scooted closer, his side pressed against you.
"Did I?"
"Uh huh." You placed your head on his shoulder as your hand touched his. You traced his slender fingers and fiddled with the watch on his wrist. Heeseung only stared at your hands, wanting to know what you'd do next.
"You know If I hear one more person ask about that damn supply closet, I'll flush them down the toilet."
Your best friend burst out laughing at your very original threat. He finally calmed down enough to speak. "Why's that?"
"It's annoying. Why does everyone assume we fucked?"
"That's what everyone usually does in there." Heeseung explained as he grabbed a strand of your hair. He twirled it around his finger as you glanced up at him with tired eyes. "Maybe we should go home."
"I'm not done talking. Everyone shouldn't just assume we did... it. In fact we're not even THAT close." You said and abruptly sat up, Heeseung nodded at you.
"Oh yeah of course. We're not even close." He played along to please your drunk self. He pulled your head back on his shoulder and patted your hair. "I'm serious we should go."
"I just remembered that you owe me a new phone and last time I took care of you while you were drunk. And you didn't even remember shit." Your words made him chuckle again.
He wrapped your arm around his shoulder and supported your weight by holding your waist. Jay and Jungwon watched as he gave them a smile and walked out of the door with you hanging off his side.

You came back to your dorm pretty late, half-expecting Wonyoung to already be asleep. You glanced in the direction of her room, noticing that the lights were still only.
She suddenly opened the door.
"Oh Y/n you're back." Wonyoung spoke in surprise as she walked over to the kitchen. "I made some cookies earlier, I wanted to get your opinion on them."
You instantly darted to her side at the mention of food. The cookies looked absolutely fenomenal. "I'll gladly try them." You took a bite of one and hummed in delight.
"Ten outta ten." You gave her a thumbs up as she smiled.
"Do you usualy return home so late?" Wonyoung asked as you swallowed the last bite. "Well... not necessarily, depends on my best friend honestly." You said, explaining Heeseung's unpredictable hangout hours.
"You mean Giselle?"
"Oh, I meant Heeseung. The guy from the cafeteria, you remember him right?" You asked as Wonyoung's expeession shifted. "My bad I thought you two were dating."
You laughed out loud at her assumption, clutching your stomach at how ridiculous that sounded to you. "No, no, I could never date him. We basically grew up together."
"Sounds nice."
You gave Wonyoung a half-hearted smile before thanking her for the cookies. Then you headed to your room to get a good nights sleep.
•° `♡` °•
Friday came faster than you expected. The basketball game was starting in 20 minutes and the team's best player, Heeseung, was no where to be seen. You were sitting on the bleachers with your friends when Jake ran over to you. He was clearly in a hurry.
"Y/n we need your help!"
And without warning he grabbed your wrist and dragged you into the locker rooms. You were about to protest when Heeseung's friends crowded you. "Please tell me you know where Heeseung is." Jungwon said, eyes hopeful, his tone worried.
Your eyes darted between the 6 of them. "I haven't seen him all day." You said as their faces dropped.
The next 10 minutes were spent running around the campus trying to find your missing best friend. The whole thing was extremely strange. The last time Heeseung disappeared before a game was when--
Jungwon's phone started ringing. He instantly stopped in his tracks and looked at you. He hesitantly answered the call and placed it near his ear. "Heeseung-?"
"Y/n..?"
You heard your best friend's quiet whisper, worry taking over. Jungwon didn't hesitate to hand you his phone. You immediately placed the device to your ear. "Hee, it's me. Where are you?"
You could barely hear his quiet breathing as he mustered his remaining energy to speak again. "Supply closet.."
You don't remember how fast you shoved Jungwon's phone back to him and ran to the opposite side of the building. Your head and heart were both pounding simultaniously. The run to the supply closed was exhausting, you can't recall any other instance when you had run this fast.
You quickly opened the door and looked inside. Your heart shattered into a million pieces at the sight of his current state. He sat on the floor, back against the wall as his head rested between his knees. He looked up at you with glossy and puffy eyes.
You got on your knees next to him, an ache in your chest making you doubt your ability to help him. You gently touched his knee first, rubbing your thumb soothingly on it. Your other hand touched his own in an effort to comfort him.
"What happened?"
He looked you in the eye and opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He clutched his chest, panic washed over him as he struggled to take a breath. You sqeezed his hand tightly as pain shot through his body.
"Hey hey, look at me. Take slow, deep breaths. One the count of three. One.. two, three."
You demonstrated taking deep breaths as he copied, trying to ignore the tears threatning to fall from his eyes. "Just look at me, okay? Tell me about your day, what did you have for breakfast?"
You tried distracting him with random questions. He furrowed his brows at first but opened his mouth to speak. "I skipped breakfast."
He instantly regretting telling you that as you gave him a stare, as if to warn him not to do it again. His mouth broke into a smile.
A few seconds later his breathing returned to normal. You were glad that your distracting method worked on him. Your heartrate was through the roof, but seeing Heeseung calm down was enough to ease your nerves. He leaned his head back against the wall and closed his eyes.
His neck was covered in cold sweat from the scare, as steady breaths exitted his mouth. You gently touched his messed up hair, feeling it's softness between your fingertips.
Your hand was still sqeezing his. "You're not gonna pass out on me, are you?" You asked a second later. Heeseung opened one eye and gave you a lopsided smile. "I'll be sure to warn you if I do."
You smiled back at him and finally let out a sigh of relief. Your best friend took notice, his gaze shifted to your hand holding his. "Hug me, will you?"
The request left your mouth open in shock. He leaned in and wrapped an arm around your neck, embracing you warmly. You hesitantly brought your hands up to his sides, awkwardly returning the hug. He chuckled against your hair.
"Can I ask what happened?"
You slowly pulled away, wondering if he'd answer truthfully. "Uh I- I suddenly felt really nervous about the game so I went to get some fresh air, but.. somehow that made it worse and next thing I knew I couldn't breath properly. I managed to stumble in here before anyone saw me."
You face fell at his explanation. "You came here so no one would see you? Heeseung, you were having a panic attack, someone could've helped you, instead you shut yourself in here alone?"
You could tell that your outburst was unnecessary and left Heeseung regretting his actions. But your reason for getting mad was valid. He was so caught up with upholding his retutation as the perfect, golden boy, that he completely discarded his health and threw it to the side.
Heeseung looked down, unable to meet your stern gaze. You sighed, knowing you weren't completely in the right either. "Promise me you'll learn how to ask for help." You said and waited for him to meet your eyes.
He looked up, regret written all across his features. "I'm sorry."
Your gently touched the back of his head pulled him into a hug. "Your coach is gonna be so pissed." You whispered as he rested his head on your shoulder.
"We can stay here for a bit."
•° `♡` °•
You and Heeseung walked out of the supply closet. The students in the hall looked at you with furrowed brows, you could only imagine the nasty rumors this incident would cause. Heeseung pushed his messy hair back, the fact that his appearance was disheveled didn't help much either.
You two entered the gym as all eyes turned to you. You quietly slipped under the bleachers to get away from the stares. Heeseung walked over to his coach and bowed without a word. He closed his eyes, expecting the worst possible outcome.
"Start warming up, you'll be in in 5."
Heeseung instantly nodded, trying to hide his smile. His eyes searched your figure through the crowd as he gave you a thumbs up. You smiled slightly as the game resumed with your best friend in the lineup.
Your college had barely managed to win even with Heeseung on the court. The players cheered as they hugged one another and ran to their friends and family.
Heeseung took a big sip of water as his friends basically jumped him. Sunoo and Ni-ki jumped on his back as Jay punched him in the gut. "That's what you get for disappearing." He scolded as Jungwon ruffled Heeseung's hair.
The boy doubled over from the hit, smiling through the pain. Jake and Sunghoon cingratulated him like normal people. "You gonna tell us where the hell you went?" Jake asked as Heeseung looked away.
"Maybe some other time." He brushed past them and the rest of the crowd to find you, but it almost seemed like you vanished into thin air. He turned back to his friends, his happy expression fading.
"Don't look so depressed, she saw you win." Sunoo said with a teasing smile. "Let's go and celebrate!!"
•° `♡` °•
Giselle sat on her armchair as you straightened her hair. She had somehow convinced to you join the party in celebration of the basketball team winning the game. "Apparantly it's at Jake's place." Ningning said as she looked down at the message sent by Ni-ki in the dance club groupchat.
"That place is gonna be packed." Karina stated as she fixed her dress in the mirror. Winter chuckled while throwing her arm around your shoulders. "Knowing Jake he probably invited the whole college." You stated, already pre-annoyed by the number of strangers you were about to see.
"Yeah well, since you know the star of the team so well, you should get special treatment." Winter wiggled her eyebrows at you, insinuating that your friendship with heeseung was somehow an open pass to every party in town.
"And what does he have to do with anything?"
Winter and Giselle made eye contact through the mirror. "I heard a bunch of people saying they saw you two exit the supply room. Kinky..."
Giselle stated as the girls burst out laughing. Your face scrunched in disgust. "Oh god, you're disgusting. I knew the rumors would spread." You said while shaking your head.
"So it's not true?" Ningning asked, a hint of disappointment in her voice.
"I mean we were in there, just not doing what you four and the rest of the school is thinking." You glared at them individualy as Karina chuckled.
"And here I thought you two finally let it out." She said as you stopped doing Giselle's hair. The girl glanced up to see your reaction. "Let what out? You guys always do this, he's my best friend."
"Hhmm yes, such a good friend. Even in the supply closet you two can't get enough of each other." Ningning made fake kissing sounds as you threw a pillow at her. She and the girls laughed at your overdramatic expressions. "Enough." You warned and raised the hot straighter up like a weapon.
"So we all got excited for nothing?" Winter asked, since she came to the conclusion that you indeed didn't do anything dirty with Heeseung.
"Yup." You confirmed as Giselle booed you.
"You definetly chickened out."
You rolled your eyes, trying to refrain from burning her hair off. "Careful with your next words." You warned as she instantly shut her mouth.
"No but seriously, this one person even said 'the reason why Heeseung was late was because he did a quickie with his girl in the supply closet, way to go golden boy'. This is insane." Ningning read a post in the colleg's gossip blog out loud.
You wanted to choke the life out of whoever wrote that nonsence. The girls faces shifted in disgust. "Yeah only we can joke about that." Karina stated as she peaked at Ningning's phone to see the replies.
"'Must be the reason he always wins. Someone's kitty is his good luck charm.' I have no words."
Giselle and Winter audibly gasped as you took a deep breath. "I just hope this blows over quickly." You said in a hopeful tone.
You and Ningning shared a look, knowinh damn well how persistant the gossip blog was. You decided that the best course of action was to get wasted and forget all about those rumors.
Jake's (more like his parents') house was just a 20 minute drive away from campus. Since none of you wanted to miss out on the drinking, you drove there in a taxi. The car stopped infront of the house, as the 5 of you stepped out. You could already hear the music blasting from the inside out onto the street.
The atmosphere inside was just the definition of a college party, with strangers dancing to the music without a care in the world. Those iconic red plastic cups were filled with all kinds of alcoholic drinks and you even noticed a few people playing beer pong.
You and Winter walked over to the bar to grab drinks while the others blended into countless people on the dance floor. You immediately downed a shot of vodka, the bitter taste stinging your tongue.
"Maybe don't drink that fast, don't let those rumors get to you okay?" Winter patted your arm and dragged you over to the center of the living room.
The other girls quickly joined in, jumping and moving their bodies to the beat of the song. You would occassionally go back to the bar to down another drink, this time Giselle joined you.
She sat down on a bar stool, hissing at the pain her heels were causing her. "No more dancing for me." She announced and took a sip of her cocktail.
You chuckled at that and leaned against the bar counter. Your eyes scanned the room, was Heeseung somewhere in here? The thought crossed your mind, but your eyes hadn't caught sight of him yet.
Giselle noticed your distracted state. She smirked as a great thought crossed her mind.
"Okay but I'm actually curious, what were you doing in that supply closet?" She began, giving you a knowing look. She was always good at getting information out of people.
"Giselle, don't start."
You rolled your eyes, suddenly reminded of the rumors, which you desperately wanted to forget.
"I'm being serious, why else would you go in there except to fuck before an important game?"
You deadpanned at her and asked the bartender for 3 more shots. Giselle picked up on your desperate attempt to wash the reality away with alcohol. She continued after you didn't give her a responce.
"Is it something personal?"
"It's not about me."
"So it's about Heeseung." She connected the dots and didn't press further. Suddenly your phone vibrated in your pocket. It was a message from Jake.
Jakey boy
Yo you and your friends here yet?
You
Yeah why?
Jakey boy
We're in the second floor living room, come join the cake cutting
You
Yall even prepared cake?
Im omw
Giselle loved the idea of eating cake and getting away from all the sweaty strangers. You called Karina to let her know where you were heading. You and Giselle went up the stairs, drinks still in hand. You had lost count of how many shots you swallowed without thinking.
Giselle opened the door and cheered at the sight of Jake holding a chocolate cake. You laughed at her reaction as she rushed over to get the first slice. "Hold on, let's blow out the candles first."
Jake said and moved the dessert to the side. "Heeseung!! Get it here."
While you all waited for him to show up, Sunoo greeted you. You instantly recognized the look on his face. "If you say one word about that supply closet I'll burn your tongue off with a hot iron."
He burst out laughing at your threat, finding your frustration hilarious. "No, but really. Heeseung has been ignoring my questions all day. And now you're defensive about the subject. What really happened in there?" Sunoo leaned in closer, trying to catch you in a lie.
You couldn't possibly tell anyone the truth. For one it was none of your business, going around telling people that Heeseung had a panic attack. He didn't even want his closest friends to know. This was a secret you were willing to die with and endure all the rumors for.
"You really wanna know?" Sunoo nodded eargerly.
You cleared your throat and signaled him to lean closer. "I fucked the shit out of him before his game." You whispered in his ear and then smiled sweetly.
Watching Sunoo's face turn sickly pale and then full blown red was the highlight of your day. His mouth hung open for a few seconds till Jungwon noticed. "What happened?"
No words left Sunoo's mouth.
You heard everyone gather around the poor boy, trying to figure out what got his face so red and why he suddenly went silent. You glanced at the door and right on que Heeseung walked in, his arm was thrown around Ni-ki's shoulder.
The two were smiling from ear-to-ear, drinks still in hand.
That was until his eyes landed on you. His face shifted into something unreadable and somehow the red plastic cup slipped from his grasp.
It made a small sound as the liquid dripped on the floor. "Woah Caraful!" Jay said as Ni-ki and Heeseung stumbled slightly.
Giselle lit the candles on the cake as Jake shoved it in your hands. You wanted to protest and throw it back to him, but Sunghoon pushed Heeseung towards you, or rather the cake.
You two made eye contact as you heard Giselle giggle behind you. Just in time, Winter, Ningning and Karina entered and greeted the others. Jungwon recorded the whole thing, looking like a proud parent. Heeseung leaned down to the cake's level.
He eyed the candles before looking up at you with his bambi eyes. You glared back at him, refusing to back down from whatever he was planning. He blew the candles out as everyone cheered.
Giselle finally took back the cake as you tried hurrying out of there, but before you took a step an arm drapped around you. How could you not recognize his stern grip on your shoulder? As if to tell you to stay put.
"Time for pictures!!"
Ningning yelled as she snapped a photo of you and Heeseung. "Smile for the camera." He said in a teasing tone and you did just that.
The second the camera flashes stopped you grabbed his wrist.
"Come with me."
Heeseung followed you without a word. His and your friends shared suspiscious looks. You entered a random room as he closed the door behind him.
He leaned against it, eyes following your every move. "There's just no way you haven't seen the rumors, so I'm just gonna say it. We should keep our distance for a bit." You said.
His gaze narrowed as if trying to analyze your words and thought process. In reality your words stung, they offended him in some way. "You really want to do that over a stupid rumor? That blog has been around for months, everyone knows it's not real." He explained as your expression shifted.
"You know that's not true. People believe it and I don't want to come up with more excuses for you."
"For me?" He stopped leaning against the door and took slow steps towards you. "What makes you think I need your excuses?"
"So you want me to tell everyone what really happened?"
He stopped in his tracks. That was the last thing he wanted. Your tone sounded too serious, he just couldn't figure out why. After a second of silence, he spoke again. "That's the only reason? You don't want to make excuses? Or... maybe you don't want to associate yourself with me in that way?"
His dark eyes bore into yours, searching for something-- anything.
"That wasn't so hard to guess, was it? No, I don't want anyone to think I fucked my best friend in a supply closet before his game."
He stepped back, your words almost sobered him up. He sat down on a nearby couch and pushed his hair back. "Okay okay, I see your point."
He raised his arms up, signaling that he surrendered. You let out a sigh, happy that he heard you out. "But... I won't be keeping my distance. And no rumor, no matter how nasty, will ever make me do that."
Heeseung said as a small smile formed on his lips. You returned the gesture, suddenly reminded of 13 year old Heeseung, who refused to stop hanging out with you even though you had no other friends.
You sat down next to him as your best friend eagerly took out his phone. "I saw this one comment under that post."
You spent the next 15 minutes reading the comments and laughing at the absurdity of the whole situation. You leaned in closer, head resting against his shoulder when a strange sound reached your ears.

At exactly 5 Heeseung was at your designated spot. A year ago, on the first day of college the two of you ditched your lectures and found a small bench under a willow tree. Most students didn't even know this place existed. It quickly became your personal meeting spot.
Heeseung looked down at his watch, anxiety eating away at his nerves. He looked up and that's when he spotted you. You walked over to the bench and sat down.
"Go on, what did you wanna talk about?"
You said and glanced up at him. You sounded like you'd rather be anywhere but there. Heeseung felt his throat tighten. "Listen, I'm sorry for what I did yesterday at the party. You know I didn't mean I was drunk and--"
"Do you even know what you're apologizing for?"
You asked and watched as his expression changed. His mouth opened and closed back up, like he was unsure of his own thoughts. "I have a vague guess?" He muttered, losing the previous confidence he had.
You had to admit, he looked cute while being uterly clueless. His lips were in a slight pout. You let a light chuckle slip out. Heeseung's whole face lit up as he spoke again.
"I'm sorry for kissing you."
He blurted out without warning. Your smile dropped and somehow you choked on air.
"What?!?!"
Based on your reaction, Heeseung concluded that the kiss wasn't why you were so angry. He let out a sigh of relief and sat down next to you. "So we didn't kiss?"
"Where the hell did you get that from?" You asked, still in disbelief.
"Nobody was telling me anything, you were ignoring my calls and messages, you didn't ask if my hangover was okay and you've been avoiding me the whole day. I assumed that the worse thing I could do to ruin our friendship, was to kiss you.."
His voice trailed off in a whisper, only now did he realize how ridiculous his thought process sounded. He let out a groan and placed his hands on his knees. His gaze was fixated on the ground.
"You're such an idiot!!"
Heeseung felt you slap the side of his arm. He jerked back and pouted. "I know I fucked up okay? Now will you tell me what I actually did?"
You explained everything with as much detail as you could. Heeseung could only gasp at his own drunk self's actions which only fueled your desire to smack him. Once you finished speaking he stood up. "I'm really, really sorry about your phone!!!"
He said and even got on one knee. His hand rested on yours. "Yeah unless that apology can buy me a new one, I don't want it." You smacked his hand away and began walking away. Heeseung caught up with you and blocked your path.
"Let me make it up to you. Please?"
Ah shit. He made those puppy eyes you've always hated. His lips were also pouty? Yeah this was the exact combo that would be the death of you. You sigh reluctantly and let him drag you back to his dorm.
•° `♡` °•
You and Heeseung settled down on his couch in the living room with tons of snacks, planning to watch all the Harry Potter movies in one night. Heeseung's mind was still occupied with the events of last night, or rather what you told him.
"Oh! You know Giselle recorded some things last night. Text her to send it to you."
Heeseung deadpanned at you. "She'll curse me out and then block me. You text her." He shoved his phone in your hands and ate some chips. In a few seconds Giselle sent the videos.
Heeseung hesitantly pressed play on the first one. His drunk self had grabbed you and thrown you over his shoulder. Ultimately he ignored your protests and walked over to the pool. Then he slipped, dropped you on the concrete and your phone officialy died.
In the next video you two were in the pool. You basically screamed at Heeseung that you were gonna kill him and pushed his head underwater. Heeseung turned the video off and covered his face with his arm.
"I don't know what the fuck I drank to get like that. Also, now I know why my knee is messed up."
"Does it still hurt?" You asked as Heeseung looked you in the eyes.
"Nah, I'm just gonna have to tell my coach that I slipped while trying to throw my Best friend into the pool." The two of you laughed at his words as you playfully hit him.
The rest of the night was a blur of complete fun and chaos. You had to admit he knew you better than anyone and somehow always made you laugh hysterically. You glanced over at him as another movie came to an end.
Your snacks had long been eaten and Heeseung was drifting in and out of sleep. You chuckled and wished you had your phone to take a pic of him. Oh well.. you grabbed his phone and did just that.
He opened one eye and raised a brow. "Delete that right now."
"It's your phone dummy." You explained as his expression dropped. "Right, sorry."
You almost felt bad with how regretful he looked. Almost.
"You don't have to say sorry everytime I mention my phone."
"Then should I say my condolences?"
"Just shut your mouth." You playfully covered his lips with your hand. He chuckled and licked your palm, a devious smirk on his lips. You visibly flinched back and made a look of disgust. "Ew, Heeseung, you're gross."
You wiped your hand against his side and went to the bathroom. Heeseung's chuckle trailed behind you. A few seconds later you came back to the sight of him sleeping with his head back against the couch.
You placed a blanket over him and sat back down. You carefully placed his head on your shoulder and pushed a few hair strands out of his face. "Stay here for the night." You heard Heeseung say in a low voice.
His arm wrapped around you under the blanket as he got comfortable. "You sure your roommate won't mind?"
He only hummed in responce. You let out a sigh and also closed your eyes.
•° `♡` °•
The next day when you opened your eyes Heeseung was gone. You were still on the couch, just laying down. That was not how you had fallen asleep. You sat up and noticed a yellow sticky note on the coffee table.
'Since your phone is... yk, I had to leave a note somehow. I got morning classes, you can have breakfast at my dorm. Jake doesn't mind.'
You had almost forgotten about Jake. Speaking of him, he walked out of his room, whistling a random tune. "Morning Y/n." He greeted casually like seeing you was the most normal thing ever.
"Morning. Are you not surprised to see me here?" You asked curiously.
"Oh well last night I got here late and saw yall cuddled up on the couch. I assume you made up?" Jake said as he poured himself a cup of coffee.
"Want some?"
"No thanks." You politely declined as he continued. "Yeah so Heeseung barged into my room early in the morning and warned me to be very quiet since you were asleep."
"Right.. I'll go now. It was nice seeing you." You grabbed your things and headed towards the door. Jake waved you goodbye as you stepped out to the hallway.
Oh right. You hadn't even seen your roommate yet. You walked into your dorm after unlocking the door with your keys. The sight infront of you made your jaw drop. The place looked spotless, like someone had deep-cleaned it fully.
That's when a beautiful girl walked out of her room. "Ohh hi, you must be Y/n." She excitedly walked up to you and shook your hand. You were still in shock at her gorgeous face. "I'm Jang Wonyoung, I have a feeling we'll get along really well."
You and Wonyoung had a nice chat about classes and clubs. You had already been apart of the dance club for a year and you loved it. She also considered joining. "Well I was also going to join the student council." Wonyoung explained.
"Oh I know someone who's apart of the council. I can ask him if you want." You suggested, thinking of Heeseung's friend, Jungwon. Wonyoung's face brightened with joy. "That's be amazing, thank you."
Seemed like your dorm luck just kept getting better. You waved Wonyoung goodbye and went to your lecture.
•° `♡` °•
During lunch you introduced Wonyoung to the others. Apparantly she and Winter shared a business class and had already met vaguely. Wonyoung fit right into your friend group. She was extremely nice and understanding.
Suddenly you felt an arm wrap around your shoulders. You recognized the scent of his cologne instantly. "Sup loser." Heeseung greeted and sqeezed between you and Giselle. The girl visibly rolled her eyes as he stole your fries.
You smacked his hand away and glared at him. "It's a shame that you two made up." Ningning commented as Karina snickered.
"Right? I think I prefer you not crashing our lunch." Giselle added, which only fueled Heeseung's ego. He grinned and noticed the new addition to your table. "Who's that?"
He 'whispered' to you, which everyone heard. "That's Wonyoung and get the hell outta here." You said and pushed him off the chair. Heeseung scoffed and patted both of your shoulders. "Since you're Y/n's dear friends I'm inviting you all to my game on friday. Don't be late sweetheart."
He said in a teasing tone and pinched your side. You flinched and poked his thigh with your fork. He glared at you but then fake smiled. You waved him goodbye (sarcastically) and threw the fork to the side.
•° `♡` °•
The days leading up to Heeseung's basketball game were pure torture. Specifically cause your dear bestfriend would drag you to his practices and make you watch sweaty boys chase a ball. Even his coach felt bad when he saw you sitting on the bleachers.
Once practice was over he strolled over to you, a white towel on his head. His breathing was heavy as he sat down (more like collapsed) next to you.
You offered him a bottled water as he reached out to grab it. He almost began to say thank you when you moved it to the side. He deadpanned at you. "Really?"
"What?" You acted confused. "Just take it."
"I don't have time for this." He reached out again, but you moved away, smiling at his frustrated expression. "That's it." He grabbed the bottle, leaning over your figure and tried to snatch it away. Your other hand, which was supporting your weight, slipped as you fell backwards, hitting your head against the bleacher.
Your first instinct was to let go of the bottle and rub your head in pain. "Oww!"
Heeseung grabbed your wrist to get you back into a sitting position. "Asshole." You muttered under your breath.
"You started this."
He defended himself and took a sip. He dried his damp hair with the towel and placed it around his neck. Then Heeseung looked back at you, you were scowling in annoyance. The sides of his mouth tilted into a smile.
He patted your head like a stray puppy and ruffled your hair. You smacked his hand away and fixed your messed up hair. "When can I go back to my dorm?" You asked as he stood up and grabbed the ball again.
"Just 30 more minutes."
You groaned loudly and layed down in boredom. You watched as Heeseung practiced, alone this time. Everytime the ball went through the basket his hand balled into a fist, and everytime he missed he'd push his hair back and take a deep breath.
After a while he went to the locker room to take a shower. "You can come in. No one's in here." He said as the two of you walked into the locker room.
Heeseung took out his towel and threw the sweaty one right at you. You made a gapping sound and lifted it up with the tips of your fingers. "You're absolutely disgusting."
You threw it back at him as he laughed. Heeseung went to take a shower while you layed down on one of the long benches, staring up at the ceiling.
"You know the team we're playing against is really good." He spoke while the hot water ran down his body. "Really? So you're gonna lose?"
You heard him chuckle.
"Of course not. I'll just have to win like every other time." Heeseung commented sounding overconfident and cocky. But he had the skills to back it up and he indeed won almost every game. "I didn't see Ni-ki at practice, did he skip?"
"Oh you don't know? he left the basketball club. Said he had to focus on that dance club that you're in."
You sat up at the new information. Ni-ki was also a good player, but his passion was definetly dancing. "Yeah we're learning this new--"
You stopped mid sentence as Heeseung came into sight, a towel hanging low around his hips.
".. really hard dance..." your voice trailed off, quieter than you'd intended. He raised a brow and used another towel to dry his damp hair. The droplets of water rolled down his toned chest and abdomen.
It was nothing new to you. No really, Heeseung frequently walked around his house (and yours) shirtless and in only a towel.
He quickly slipped into his clothes while you looked away. No, you weren't shameless enough to take a peak at him. He walked over to you, towel in hand.
"What?" You asked confused and took it from him.
"Dry my hair?" Heeseung said as he crouched down, looking up at you with his bambi eyes. You almost melted at the sight, but raised a brow. "Now why would I do that?"
"Cause I'm your best friend?"
He stated, eyes blinking at you rapidly. You scoffed and grumbled in irritation. He sat down on the floor, your legs on either side of his shoulders. Your hands gently dried his hair as he let out a hum, enjoying the free head massage a bit too much.
You smirked to yourself and pulled his hair. Heeseung winced and looked at you with wide eyes. "What was that for!?"
"Oops."
He clicked his tongue, clearly thinking of a way to get back at you. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you down to the floor next to him. He tickled your sides as you began laughing hysterically. "Hey--!! Stop, I'm serious-!!"
You finally managed to grab both of his wrists to stop him, but he turned to lay on his back and accidentally pulled you on top of him. Both of your eyes widened as you quickly scrambled to stand up. Your knee made contact with his...
He groaned in pain as you kneed him in the balls. A loud laugh erupted from you as Heeseung helplessly rolled around in agonizing pain.
You had to wipe the tears forming in your eyes. He finally calmed down as you helped him up. "I'm really sorry--" You said but chuckled at his expression. "Remind me to never let you do that again." He said and shook his head.

Pls keep in mind that this is my first post on Tumblr (I have no clue what im doing)
Feel free to let me know what you think <3
•° `♡` °•
Heeseung cursed out loud as his teammates made him lose yet another round. "For fuck's sake learn how to play!!" He yelled through the mic and scowled, his fingers aggressively typed on the keyboard.
The door to his bedroom flew open as you tiredly plopped down on his bed. Heeseung payed no attention, his eyes glued to the screen.
"Oh come on, how long are you gonna sit there? Aren't you the least bit bothered by the heat?" You said followed by a dramatic sigh.
Ignored.
You let out a groan, finally having enough of your best friend's attitude or lack there of. You quickly unpluged his computer and yanked his headphones off. Heeseung's mouth dropped in an instant. It takes him a second to process what you had done.
Meanwhile you take this chance to run for your life. You knew exactly what you had gotten yourself into. "Oh you're fucking screwed." He muttered to himself and ran out of the room to catch you.
Heeseung is quick on his feet and it doesn't take him long to close the distance between you two. You get into a defensive position, circling the couch and watching his moves carefully.
"You really think you can outrun me?" Heeseung taunted as you threw a pillow at him. Before he could react you threw another and bolted back upstairs to his room.
By the time he ran through the door you were standing on his bed, a slipper in hand ready to attack. He chuckled in amusement and caught his breath. You had to stop yourself from screaming as he jumped on the bed and grabbed you by the wrist.
You two battled for the slipper, as he pinched your side. You flinched at the sudden contact and pulled at his hair. "Ow ow, ow--!!" He yelped in pain and a second later both of you went crashing onto the floor.
The slipper fell somewhere around the room while you and Heeseung layed on the floor, breathing heavily. "Told you I'd catch you." He said as a smirk formed on his lips.
"Yeah yeah." You discarded his comment and sat up.
"You going to that pool party later?"
Heeseung raised a brow and stood up. "Oh yeah, Jake basically begged me to go. Plus it's the last party of the summer. You thinking of going?" He asked and sat down on his bed.
"Not sure, might just stay at Giselle's for the night."
•° `♡` °•
So... you didn't stay at Giselle's. Infact she was the one dragging you to Sunghoon's pool party. One thing about Heeseung is that he had filthy rich friends (with you being the exception). Giselle also invited the other girls. Ningning, Karina and Winter showed up for a pre-party with a few cocktails to warm up.
And at 8 the five of you were in Sunoo's car, singing karaoke on the way to Sunghoon's place. He stopped the vehicle infront of the large private estate and threw the car keys in your direction. "Keep an eye on these for me." He said as you passed the keys to Karina, your parent for the night.
A few minutes later all of you were inside and drinking all kinds of beverages. "No drinking today Karina?" Ningning teased as she noticed the older girl sipping fruit punch.
Karina let out a chuckle. "After last party's hangover I don't even want to taste alcohol." Her words made you grin widely. "Okay so this is a pool party, and we kinda need to go to the pool." Winter reminded everyone and sqeezed past the crowd.
The second you went outside you spotted Heeseung with his friends. He wore a simple white tank top and swim shorts. His hair was damp, most likely from an earlier dive and he was passionately explaining something to Jay. Your gaze lingered on him for a second before you made eye contact with Jungwon.
He gave you a small wave and smile. Your heart warmed at his cuteness as you waved back. Your next instinct was to go over and say hi from up close but Giselle pushed you towards the outdoor bar.
"No boys allowed tonight, just drinks and music." She nagged and poured you a shot. You downed it in one go and made a face at her. "I was just going to say hello, but fine, tonight we party like animals."
The girls cheered while lifting their drinks in the air.
•° `♡` °•
"Hey I'm gonna go say hi to Y/n." Sunghoon commented as he patted Heeseung's shoulder. His eyebrow shot up in confusion. "When'd she get here?" He asked as his eyes scanned the outdoor area.
"I drove her and her friends here." Sunoo answered as he layed on a lounge chair. Heeseung let out a scoff. "You could've told me."
Sunoo only brought his sunglasses down and looked at him in disbelief. He and Ni-ki shared a look. Heeseung walked off seemingly pissed off for no reason. On his way he bumped into Jake and didn't even bother apologizing. "Is he good?" Jake asked with a raised brow.
In a few seconds Heeseung was at the bar, ordering another drink. His eyes instantly went to you.
You, who sat smiling and laughing with your friend.
You in your tiny jean shorts and a red bikini top.
You, who hadn't even bothered to text him and let him know that you was coming.
He grabbed his drink and walked over to your lounge chair. You were still chatting away with Karina, while Giselle was zoned out. Your two other friends were splashing around in the pool.
You hadn't even noticed his presence, until Karina went silent. Heeseung sat down next to your legs. You eyed his clearly drunk state and raised a brow.
"You could've told me you were coming."
You were caught off guard. Is that why he looked so upset? Drunk Heeseung was really something else.
You couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Is that why you sulked all the way over here?" You teased and took a sip of your drink. His eyes followed your every move. Karina gave you a look before signaling that she was gonna leave you two alone.
You nodded and glanced back at Heeseung. He was drunk yes, but his usual drunk self was very energetic and giggly. He was nothing like what you were seeing right now. "Are you okay? Should we go home?" You asked while pressing your hand on his bicep.
Your cold touch instantly caught his attention. He looked you in the eyes and suddenly grinned. You knew something wasn't right, but he had already grabbed your waist and thrown you over his shoulder.
You let out a surprised yelp and gasped as he started walking towards the pool. "Heeseung no, don't you dare-!!" Your screams echoed through the backyard till all the attention was on you two.
Giselle took out her phone to record the whole thing. "I'm being serious!! My phone is in my pocket, Heeseung-!!"
Heeseung was laughing at your protests. He pretended to throw you as you flinched and harshly smacked him. "Enough just put me down!!" You hit his back as hard as you could but he just wouldn't quit.
His friends' must've noticed how opposed you were to being thrown in the pool. "Okay Heeseung that's enough. She doesn't want to." Jay said as he approached you two. Heeseung only stepped closer to the edge, causing you to scream.
By then Jay and Jungwon were desperately trying to stop him. While Jake and Ni-ki laughed in amusement. You would've been in a good mood too, if your phone wasn't in grave danger.
"Hee, come on put me down. We both know you won't throw me." You said in a more calm tone and attempted to take your phone out and throw it to the nearest person. "It's just water Y/n you'll be fine."
"My phone won't--!!"
You gasped as Heeseung's foot slipped. Your phone slipped out of your pocket and went diving into the pool. You could only scream as your best friend lost his balance and dropped you. Jungwon caught your arm in time before you hit the concrete floor.
Heeseung on the other hand wasn't so lucky. His knee collided with the ground but he still giggled at his 'prank'. Jay helped him up while mentally facepalming. "I think you've had enough, go sleep it off." He said. Heeseung harshly shoved his friend's hand off.
"You okay?" Jungwon whispered to you as you gave a short nod. Frankly you weren't okay, your phone was taking a bath in the pool and you were fuming at your best friend's utter stupidity. "Are you actually fucking insane?" You yelled and took a step towards him.
His grin widened as you harshly pushed his chest. "Why do you keep getting so fucking wasted? You idiot, you ruined my phone!! What were you even thinking??!!" You screamed again as Sunghoon stepped between you two. "Y/n, I know you're upset, but clearly he's not in his right mind. Please calm down." He said calmly and watched as you backed down.
You let out an exhausted sigh and walked off to retrieve your phone. Ningning and Winter had fetched it out of the water, their expression's were unreadable. "You okay?" Ningning asked as she touched your shoulder. You nodded and grabbed your now broken phone.
"Why's he being such a dick?" Winter muttered, her eyes glaring into his back. You refused to watch his friends try to sober him up. If you did you would definetly lash out again. Giselle walked up to you three, a look of disappointment decorating her face.
She was about to speak when you heard multiple people yelling. It sounded a lot like Heeseung's friends. You barely registered him charging at you at full speed. Ningning gasped as Heeseung tackled you into the pool.
"Dude what the hell!!?! You couldn't have stopped him??" Giselle yelled as her eyes scanned the pool searching for your figure.
Jake and Sunghoon were about to jump in when you appeared on the surface. You took a deep breath and pushed your hair back. "You're so fucking dead, Lee."
Heeseung could only laugh at your hilarious expression. You finally lost it and pounced on him, grabbing his head and shoving it underwater. Jake, Sunoo and Ni-ki burst out laughing as Jay shook his head. Giselle somehow always managed to record the good moments.
Winter and Ningning enjoyed Heeseung's deserved punishment. You felt him struggle beneath you as you finally let him go. He gasped loudly and grabbed the edge of the pool. His eyes were red, breathing heavy as he coughed out all the water in his lungs.
You climbed out of the pool as Winter handed you a towel. You plopped down on the floor, too exhausted to move. Heeseung followed after you, a bit too quiet for your liking. You looked at his face as Jungwon offered a hand to help him up.
Your gut was telling you something wasn't right. And just as you stood up Heeseung stumbled. Jungwon's eyes widened as Heeseung's body fell towards you. You barely caught him as he went completely limp and unresponsive. "Hee?" You breathed out, heart pounding from worry.
"Lay him down!!"
A wave of gasps erupted as Jungwon and Sunghoon helped you lay Heeseung down on the floor. Jay checked his pulse and let out a sigh of relief. "For fuck's sake, can this guy not ruin my fun all the time?" You breathed out while sitting beside his blacked out figure.
"He loves to crash parties that's for sure." Jake said as he shook his head.

His friends managed to carry his ass inside and lay him down on the couch. Mind you the party is still up and going. You sat down beside him clearly the only one willing (forced) to take care of him. About a half hour later, he opened his eyes and lazily looked around.
The colorful lights were blinding his vision as he covered his eyes with his forearm. His headache was only getting worse by the second. You touched his arm and glanced at his face.
"Welcome back sleeping beauty." You commented.
His eyes flew open at your familiar touch, his gaze landing on your face. He could make out a hint of annoyance, some worry and a whole lot of anger. He must've done something stupid.
"What happened?" Heeseung asked and rubbed his forehead in pain.
"Long story shory, you owe me a new phone. Now let's go." You grabbed his wrist and started dragging him towards the exit. You called Karina and told her to meet you outside.
"Woah what happened to him?" She asked at the sight of you supporting Heeseung with his arm around your shoulder. "Drank too much like usual. Can you drive back to his place?"
"Yeah of course." Karina used Sunoo's car to drive you back to Heeseung's house. She watched in concern as you dragged his body to the front door and unlocked it. You waved Karina goodbye and went inside.
The trip up the stairs with Heeseung around your shoulder was a nightmare. You barely managed to get to the top, and even then you were close to just dumping him there. You layed him down on the bed and took his shoes off.
That's more than what he deserved but still. You placed the blanket on him and layed down for a while. Your exhaustion finally kicked in as you turn to face Heeseung's sleeping figure. His features were completely relaxed, his lips naturally pouting. Gosh if only he'd be this quiet all the time.

The next day Heeseung woke up with a pounding headache. He was half expecting (hoping) you were laying next to him or atleast cooking breakfast and getting ready to throw insults at him. Unfortunately the house was silent and Heeseung's dream shattered in an instant. There was no trace of you in his room.
Had he actually dreamed about you laying next to him? He remembered it all too vividle for that to be true. After regretting all of his life choices, he sat up. he didn't even attempt to remember the events of the party. Or rather he'd prefer not to feel extremely fucking emberrassed.
He opened his phone and furrowed his brows. Weird. You hadn't sent him a single text. No matter how stupid Heeseung acted while drunk, you'd always check up on him. Did he fuck up that badly that you won't even text him?
To stop himself from overthinking Heeseung called his buddy. "Yo Jake."
"Hey man, you alive?"
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?"
"Right, you probly don't even remember what happened."
"So i fucked up?
"If by that you mean Y/n probably won't ever talk to you, then yeah."
Heeseung's mouth dropped in shock. What could he possibly do (that he hadn't already) that would piss you off to the point of breaking up their friendship?
"Did I kiss her?"
Instead of a reply Heeseung got laughed at. Jake was basically wheezing from how hilarious his friend's words were. Heeseung could only roll his eyes in annoyance.
"Are you gonna answer my question?"
"Man you're gonna have to figure this out on your own."
And with that Jake hung up.
Heeseung decided that the best thing he could do was actually get to college. Which he was extremely late to and considering the place was about 2 hours away he'd have to be a tiny bit more late.
Of course Jungwon had called to ask where the hell he was. His only excuse was that he overslept, which wasn't a compete lie. The whole ride to college he stared at his phone screen. He went through his previous text conversations with you, noticing how you always replied as quick as you could.
But now he felt uneasy.
You didn't text back and haven't answered any of his 18 missed calls.
By the time he got to the campus he was exhausted. Heeseung retrieved his dorm keys from the main office and went to dump his luggage in his room. Just as he was sitting on the couch the door creaked open.
Winter peaked inside, her eyes went wide at the sight of him. "Sorry wrong room." She bowed apologetically and was about to close the door when Heeseung blocked it with his foot. "Winter, Have you seen Y/n?"
The girl gave him an 'are you serious right now' look. He could feel her judgemental gaze as she crossed her arms. "No haven't seen her. Bye."
She said and slammed the door in his face.
There seriously must be something wrong with everyone today. No one, and literaly no one would tell him when you were. He tried your friends, which left him with even more questions. Ningning ignored his entire existance, Karina hurried away without answering and Giselle gave him the dirtiest look possible.
It was safe to say he fucked up badly, so bad that your friends suddenly hated his guts.
During lunch he sat between Jay and Jake. Casual conversations were flowing between them as Heeseung stared down at his plate, lost in deep thought.
He finally snapped, dropping the fork with a thud. The table went dead silent. "Anyone wanna tell me what heinous act I commited yesterday? Why's everyone acting like this?" He asked, letting his frustrations out. His friends stayed silent, avoiding his eyes.
He scoffed and looked around, his gaze searching your figure. That's when he saw you sit down at a table with your friends. You were chatting away, a small smile decorating your lips.
He abruptly stood up, deciding that you were the only one who could tell him. He walked over to your table, his friends gasping behind him. "No no no--!" Jungwon began but covered his eyes.
Jay shook his head in disappointment as Sunghoon took a bite of his food. "What an idiot." He muttered causing Jake to chuckle. Sunoo pushed Ni-ki to the side. He needed a clear view of your table as shit went down.
Heeseung stopped right behind you. You knew instantly since Giselle scowled and the rest went silent. You slowly turned yoru head to him, fork full of food in hand.
"Hey, Can we talk?"
Heeseung asked without hesitation. "I only have 10 minutes to eat so I can't spare you any time. Sorry." Your sorry didn't seem all that genuine. Heeseung frowned at your attempt to dismiss him. "I'm sure you can eat and listen at the same time." He didn't back down.
You glared at him for the snarky remark. "Not right now, Heeseung."
"Then when? When will you make time for me?" He asked and leaned down, placing one hand on the table.
"Our spot, at 5."
Heeseung straightened back up and walked off without another word. He needed to figure out what made you so upset. The only logical solution that came to him was that he kissed you.
And that you felt uncomfortable given your relationship as best friends. And now you can't even look at him the same. He couldn't believe that a single kiss ruined years of friendship and trust.
