Zack just gave the medic a look that screamed ‘really?’ as he heard the first statement. He wasn’t even going to explain it, as it wasn’t needed.

“Oh? But why would you want to have a claim on me hm? And how long is this ‘spell’ of yours?” Zack said with a playful smirk on his lips. Zack wanted to see where Con would go with this.

     “ How long is it, you ask? Well, that’s simple to answer.”

     Conláed spoke quietly, drawing his slender yet pale digits along Zack’s chest before tipping his head up to nuzzle under the Ex-SOLDIER’s jaw endearingly with a smile. “ Perhaps forever, if it was a possibility? My reasons for claiming you as my own is...”

     The medic is thoughtful for a moment, pulling back to look up at Zack now that he wasn’t on his tiptoes to try and be cute anymore. He hummed softly, teasing his tongue against rose-touched lips as he averted his gaze for a moment to properly gather his words into a coherent sentence. “ I wished to claim you... in the way you so wordlessly did to myself, Braveheart. There is no visible collar wrapped around my throat, and yet you have the leash without too much effort.”

     The albino chuckled breathlessly for a moment, looking to Zack with a soft look in those glittering rubies. “ And I’d have it no way, other than to show you what you do to me, Zack. It’s only fair, considering the rate in which you enraptured my attention... Despite how sappy this is making me sound, right about now.”

Upon hearing the snap, Mako enhanced eyes snapped open. The raven hadn’t been expecting the albino to put one on him, but he wasn’t complaining. “It feels fine Con… Let me guess, this is a play on my usual puppy nickname?”

Zack just smirked as he felt the light tug from the other. “Question is now, how long have you been planning on putting this on me hm?”

     A lilt of laughter escaped the albino as he looked at the raven with a coy wink in his direction, “ Now, why ever would it be a play on your nickname my sweet Braveheart?”

     Conláed purred teasingly, his crimson gaze settled on smirking lips before raising to Mako hues as he canted his head to the left. His question drew a pause from the medic with the most thoughtful of expressions, his gaze half-lidded and a hum escaping his lips. “ How long, you ask...”

     He was quiet just a slight bit longer before leaning close to Zack and softly biting his lower lip playfully. “ For a spell, I suppose~... But perhaps, just a bit, I was hoping to do so to playfully stake a claim on you.”
