Seeing Magnus not being with Alec after having read the first three mortal instruments and going to Clockwork Angel. I’m just like “WHERES THE REST OF YOU?!?” Where is Alec? Not alive for another hundred years idiot. Did I instantly fall in love with his character due to a kinship I felt from also being like a closeted queer kid who was at war with themselves. Fuckin maybe.

Just finished blood and holy water, oh my goodness that was such beautiful writing. This chapter only made me love the writing so much more. The description of the room! Will both wanting her and not wanting to hurt her is just chefs kiss. I would jump in front of a train for Sophie and Jem. I love that we get more about the silent brothers considering what happens in City of Ashes. Overall a great follow up to the chapter prior.
