More than ever, I need communal financial help, which, because of severe OCD, severe depression, auditory hallucinations, I'm completely dependent on. My bank account is damn near empty and in addition to food and toiletry, I need to take care of my phone bill, save some money for several medical appointments, need to pay for transportation, and still need to take care of a too small wardrobe. My goal is 900$. I've gotten help before, but all of it has melted into day to day living.
Again, my goal is 900$.

Please consider helping this Sudanese family! 13 family members rely on it since they are surviving a 2 year-long gencoide in Sudan. The country is going through the worst famine, and there is a cholera breakout!
Donate and share. They have been fundraising for a year, but donations have been painfully slow. It is the point where they have decided to lower the goal of 20K to 10K! There is $4,032 USD left to go! You can match me! I have given $5 USD, but you're more than welcome to give any amount!
This fundraiser is vetted by sudanfunds.com!
Tagging for reach. Please leave a reply if you wish to be removed. Thank you.

A lot of people really should not be weighing in on the Beyonce discourse because it's displaying a great deal of ignorance about both Native and Black people.
I suggest giving "An Afro-Indigenous History of the United States" by Kyle Mays a read because it provides a good framework with historical examples. It even has specific examples of Black celebrities perpetuating anti-Native racism and respectful ways to address these conversations.
"What Beyonce did was not okay and directly needs to unambiguously be called anti-Native racism" and "Many non-Black people react with hostility and Anti-Black sentiments even in critiquing her" can both exist simultaneously.
I really need some of y'all to not jump in on this conversation and drop their hot take (that most of the time will end up being Anti-Black, Anti-Native or most likely both) unless they're in meaningful community with both Native and Black people to respectfully navigate this conversation.

I know I'm supposed to be the strong patient one or whatever but it really is getting kind of old watching people wait for their moment to find a Bad Black to reveal all their repressed antiblackness for. Like. I'm supposed to be pure of heart and intent and hold my people accountable for everything but y'all be seconds from Pulling Out The Rope and somehow everyone's expected to be okay with that. "We only are racist to the BAD ONES" okay well I've seen this story before and it doesn't take much for y'all to think we're a Bad One so. š

It's Juneteenth, I'm a Black Texan, descendant of enslaved Black Texans. Texas is the only state that fought two different wars to protect slavery and chattel slavery ended the last for it. Juneteenth to me is to celebrate that part of overt white supremacy coming to an end, but it was not the end of white supremacy. It did not stop, with the lynching, the police violence, the redlining, the environmental racism, the segregation. Juneteenth represents a good win aganist the fight against white supremacy, but it's not over.
And for this Juneteenth, I ask for help for my friends that are the victims of this same US white supremacy. Not just today, but everyday Gazans deserve any type of help that you can give them. The technology that is used to segregate and attack and police and destroy Palestinians is the same technology that is sold to Texas to be used for the border patrol and to harass and control immigrants and border communities. This is one, connected fight aganist white supremacy and US control and destruction of Black and Brown bodies. So I ask today if you could donate this, or share, to help provide for a mother and her 2 now fatherless children in Gaza, or anyone else in Gaza who needs help. Like this family with a sick baby. Just do something, especially if you got the day off.

A final signal. Gaza is completely cut off from the worldāno internet, no connectionāand Israel is blocking every attempt to reconnect, targeting anyone who tries. Now Iran is being bombed and the region stands on the brink of explosion while we remain trapped in deadly silence. If this message reaches you, it may be our last chance. Help us secure a safe home and education for our childrenā¤ļøā𩹠Donāt let Gaza disappear in silence.

Iran and Israel are at war now and this war has diverted attention from Gaza and the massacres happening there. Gaza is still suffering. In fact, it is getting worse every day and all the news is about the Iran and Israel war. Gaza is no longer important, it no longer exists. I ask myself, are we human beings like you or are you different from us? Why is this? Why are we no longer important? You share sports and funny things but do not share posts of people whose children are dying in front of their eyes. Tumblr users make me feel that you will never forget us and will stand with us by donating to my family who lives a life full of so much pain and share so it reaches those who can contribute to the donation. Thank you to all the countries and all the people who donated to me so that my family and I can live a simple life and escape death, hunger and fear. Don't forget the pride month so you must be good for this month.

you cannot talk about the homophobic murder of jonathan joss without including in the conversation that he is indigenous.
american indian men are at the 2nd highest risk of death by murder compared to all other ethnic groups. in their lifetimes, 82% of native men report having experienced domestic violence. yet the overwhelming majority of perpetrators are non-natives (88% of native men and 92% of native women who reported violence said their attacker was non-native). whatās more, tribal governments are often stymied in their attempts to bring justice against non-natives, meaning that many of these cases go unresolved.
this was an intersectional attack. the fact that he is indigenous matters, even if the motivation was homophobic, because it made him even more vulnerable and disposable in the eyes of his killer.
as always, look into MMIWP to learn more, and speak up for us. miigwetch, take care
