5 years?!
Our shop just turned 5 years old in March 2021, I genuinely cannot believe it's been 5 years since we opened our doors.
We're based in Selly Oak in Birmingham, it's a vibrant student community well placed between the city centre and neighbouring towns.
We sell a wide range of kits to suit beginners and up to intermediate level vapers. We sell liquids with between 70/30 pg/vg and 80/20 vg/pg. We aim to cater to everyone's liquid needs and also make liquid for people on occasion.
Our main goal is and has always been to help people quit smoking and quit nicotine products completely.

Aspire Pockex
We've been selling this kit for the past 3 years. This kit is now 5 years old and still one of the most popular devices in the market today. When Aspire kills the Pockex, people will say "they don't make them like they used to" because the Pockex still hasn't been replaced completely and probably never will be.
The Pockex is extremely easy to use, the top fill mechanism also houses the coil which makes changing coils extremely easy and also gives easier access to fill your tank.
The battery is a modest 1500mah which for a kit made in 2016 is not bad at all! With the 0.6 ohm coil you could expect about a full day of use and with the 1.2 ohm coil it wouldn't be unusual to get a day and a half to 2 days of use out of the kit with moderate use.
The Nautilus-X and Pockex both use the same coil type and the top fill cap is cross-compatible between the Pockex and Nautilus-X along with the drip tip.
The Pockex will definitely be remembered as the longest running starter kit in the vaping industry, with its simple functionality and straight forward design, it might still be popular for another few years to come.
I've found with mine the coil can become flooded which is easily remedied by turning the kit upside down, wrapping some paper towel around the airflow section and blowing through to release all the liquid inside the coil and airflow section. It's not often the coil floods but when it does, the juice has no where to escape from as the base is sealed.

The most overkill tank I own
It's got to be the Skyhook RDTA (not the mod, the actual tank). It was marketed as a 220w tank, I genuinely reckon it could handle that amount of power with the coils it came with tbh.
The thing is immence, 25mm wide and it has to be about 40mm tall. It has dual airflow under the coils and from the side which gives this thing an insane fully open style inhale, honestly, you can breathe through this thing with zero restriction which also allows you to push your coils harder than you typically would so long as your wicking is good enough.
This tank does have its flaws though, namely the wicking. Due to juice having to climb so far up the cotton, you have to make sure your wicking game is on point. There is also an RDA base in case you just want to drip with it but you cannot use it as a regular dripper, you have to use the fill port on the side to fill the base with juice and there's no way to straight wick it because there's no indication of how much cotton to use with the RDA base.
I personally run a pair of SS316L 20awg 3.5mm ID with 7 wraps which comes out to 0.13 ohms and vape around 80-130 watts. At times there's too much airflow which is why I prefer to run big beefy coils. I wish it had a hybrid 510 because it would honestly be kick ass in a cloud comp with some staple staggered fused claptons!
This tank is badass and deserved some recognition, I'm just surprised it didn't become a popular product considering how much vapour this thing could produce! It truly was an extreme cloud chuckers wet dream of a tank.

Hellvape Dead Rabbit SQ vs Digiflavour Drop Solo
I remember when these two drippers were the most recommended single coilers a few years back. The Dead Rabbit by Heathen and the Drop by The Vaping Chronicles both preceded these two drippers and they had a reputation to uphold.
Both these drippers had a cut down version of the airflow their original counterparts had, similar style of deck to their original counterparts. Both were popular with squonkers as they offered longer squonking 510s to get as much juice into the deck as possible. The SQ had wicking channels where the cotton would fall in place and the Drop Solo simply used the bottom of the deck for the coil placement. Both offered a lot of juice capacity for their size.
The Flavour out of both of these drippers caused a bit of a rivalry on both sides as some people preferred the SQ and others preferred the Drop Solo. This gave people like me the opportunity to get both and see which one I'd prefer. In case you're wondering, I prefer the flavour from the SQ.
For me personally, the Drop Solo is better for squonking with but the SQ outright wins as a pure dipper without the squonk pin with a 0.8 ohm coil and a single battery mod for convenience.

Geekvape Avocado 22 & 24
I've always been a massive fan RDTAs ever since I got my first Avocado 22, it had the flavour of a dripper with the convenience of not having to re-drip. I did have an issue with the 22mm though, filling it was always a pain when you had 2 coils installed due to their being no way of filling except the wicking holes so I'd typically run it with a single coil instead of 2 coils for convenience.
I still use both the 22 and 24 versions in my daily rotation because there's just nothing I've come across which can replace them as yet. They both feature simple cyclops style airflow, I find placing my coils with just the bottom visible through the inlets gives the best flavour but other people may prefer to have the middle of the coil visible from the inlet.
These RDTAs offer a lot of choice when it comes to coil placement and also how you prefer to wick, whether you prefer your cotton longer draped down to the bottom of the tank or having shorter cotton barely reaching the glass. I've found both methods work fine and honestly haven't found much of a difference when it comes to the cotton wicking the juice. Whichever method you find works for you is always best.
The only gripe I have with the 22 is the lack of a fill port but using a single coil in both tanks works well thanks to the plug which covers the wicking channels but also offers airflow for the rear of the coil which is also handily included with the 24. The 24 has the added bonus of actually having a fill port on the side of the tank which makes it so much easier to refill should you run it dual coil.
The Avocado 22 and 24 are perfect for beginners and I'd highly recommend them for beginners who are just getting into rebuildables if you can still find them but if you can't find any then the Faris from Wotofo or the Pyro v3 from Vandy Vape would both be excellent choices and should still be available.

Asmodus Barrage
I absolutely hated the C4 LP, I could never get any flavour out of that rda unless I cranked the wattage right the way up and even then, it didn't feel like it was made for any serious power due to how restrictive the airflow was. Also, I used so many different wires with it in an attempt to try and get some flavour out of it, one of the posts became raised to the point where it was contacting the metal at the top of the top cap and causing a lovely hard short. The .Blank never seemed to give any flavour no matter how much I played with the coil placement or the ID of my coils in an attempt to get the airflow closer to the coils
The Barrage on the other hand truly is a different breed, I wasn't sure of it at first with how the airflow is directed. I'm still slightly confused by exactly where all the air goes but it deserves the name Barrage as it definitely does offer a lot of airflow. This does indeed mean that the airflow wide open style of vapers (like myself) will absolutely adore this little beast of a dripper. Not being able to change airflow might be a hindrance to some people but personally I think the airflow is spot on.
Coil placement is easy, just ensure your cotton doesn't block where the airflow comes down and you'll be golden. Typically my coils have been anything between 0.8 and as low as 0.1 ohms depending on how I'm feeling and how warm I'd like my vape.

I haven't personally tried squonking with this one but I'd assume it would be amazing considering how much cotton you can use to wick it up.
I highly recommend this dripper to anyone who likes wide open airflow and prefers using around 60-100 watts with their coils. I personally found I was pushing coils harder than I typically would thanks to the sheer amount of airflow this dripper offers.

Uwell Soulkeeper vs Acrohm Fush
I've been using my trusty Soulkeeper for a little over a year now and it's been nothing but fantastic the whole time. Never thought I'd love anything more than the Fush, mainly because the Fush is super overpriced and feels like a collectors piece instead of something you could actually vape off.

I love how it accepts both an 18650 battery and a 2x700 without needing an adapter, just unscrew the fire button and the 510 housing, swap them to the other opposite ends of the mod and boom, instantly use either battery type of your choice. Sadly the Fush only accepts an 18650 despite being a lot wider than the Soulkeeper.

The firing switch on the base has a nice tactile click when the button is pressed in. I always found the throw on the Fush to be a little too spongy compared to an actual mech but the Soulkeeper definitely felt nicer to use than the Fush.

the Fush looked extremely weird with anything but a 24mm tank on top, most tanks and rebuildables are between 24 and 25mm which is another area the Soulkeeper shone. The Soulkeeper is just a straight 25mm tube which looks great with both 24 and 25mm tanks.

The colour I have is the Fluorescent which almost has a gold tint to it with a pattern etched in which glows in the dark. I mainly bought this version because I liked the pattern, I had no idea it glowed in the dark until I left it on my nightstand. The Fush I have is silver with a long plastic area housing the lighting.

The Soulkeeper does everything better and feels great while doing it, well, everything except turn off. There is no 5 clicks to turn off which the Fush does have but the Soulkeeper's switch is much harder to push in than the Fush.

I would highly recommend the Soulkeeper over the Fush until they make a 25mm version which can take a 2x700 battery (if they ever make another one). The Soulkeeper also has much less voltage drop than the Fush as well, or at least it's less noticeable.

Oxva Origin X
I've been using this kit for about 3 days with both the mouth to lung coil and the RDTA deck. The 1 ohm mouth to lung coil is what I've been consistently using for the past 2 days now but I haven't used any regular stock coils in the last 3 years, not even one. This is the first time I've used a regular coil in a long time and Oxva have absolutely nailed the mouth to lung experience in this kit.
The RDTA deck is extremely easy to build on thanks to its postless deck, simply cut the coil legs down and slot the coils in, then tighten the screws down, glow the coils and get the hot spots out and put cotton through the coils and drop it into the wicking channels. It's super simple to do and the airflow on the RDTA deck feels like it offers slightly more air with 2 holes open as opposed to 3 holes open. The flavour from the deck is great but the only issue I ran into was the mod has its own preset power based on resistance so if you wanted to run a 0.8 ohm coil at the full 40 watts, you need to build lower to get the higher wattage output. The RDTA works best with regular round wire, I typically use Stainless or NiChrome which gave the best results.
The mod itself is relatively small for a device which takes an external battery and it fits the hand superbly. The pods are magnetic and slide straight into the compartment with ease. As for leaking, I've had none at all and mine has travelled with me all over in pockets and bags. The battery life is pretty impressive as well, So far I've been using it for 3 days and haven't needed to charge the battery yet.
I'm going to keep updating this in the next few weeks because this has very quickly replaced all my other kits as my daily go to. So I'll keep trying new coils with it and keep giving my thoughts and any issues I run into
