To all the girls I’ve loved before

C; I loved her because she began it all.

M; I loved her because she reminded me of the start.

C2; I loved her beauty.

O; was my soulmate. A piece of me died when she did.

And I wrote four letters, and never sent any of them.

V; I would wake up to your eyes every day.

G; I loved his intellect.

A; I loved his heart. The reason G and I ended.

P; I loved our chemistry. The reason A and I ended.

Y; I loved his flaws. The reason P and I ended.

Q; I loved how gentle he is. The reason Y and I ended.

And I wrote five letters, and I gave out four.

And one I can’t bring myself to. I’m not sure I ever can.

That’s closure.

S — we want to build a dream together, and that’s alright with me.
