alright, here we go: pet bio template, auto-formatting edition!

all you gotta do is make a copy of this google sheet, then fill out the white boxes. the “species” dropdown will automatically pick a Phee icon and a pair of matching colors for you! the icon and colors can be customized, mood tracker can be removed, etc. for a full list of options, check out my thread on dv.

i did my best to make everything as user-friendly as possible, but if you have any questions just lmk ♥

So, this seems like a good time to put out some of my research.

It’s not complete, as you can see, there are some combinations still missing, and it’s not always entirely accurate, but so far, this is proving to be a fairly decent rule of thumb when it comes to giving gifts to my pets, and whether or not they like or dislike them.

As far as I can tell, pets like gifts from the gatchas of NPCs who are similar to them in terms of personality. For example, most Tenacious pets seem to very much enjoy gifts from Bearnard’s gatcha, regardless of their mood. However, Comprehensive pets seem to universally dislike them, even if they’re the same species (Side note- it’s possible that Plump Turnips may be an exception to this, though the affection gained is minimal. This requires more extensive research.).

If people are interested in doing grunt data entry for no pay and less fun, you can help me collect data by filling out this form the next time you give a present to your pet. The results will be collated in a spreadsheet here. If you want to review my initial data, or check the updating recommended gift list you can check it out here (tho I’ll be transferring it over to the form sheet soon.).

Hopefully, this way you can avoid spending your hard earned potatoes on gifts your ungrateful turnip children don’t like anyway!!!
