twenty one petals, twenty one pilots, twenty one years

this is my 21st bday art (that was delayed over a month cause of assignments).

I started drawing these cryptic bday arts for myself since 17, many were gruesome or have implied being my last bday or about struggling and all that stuff, but this one is different, this one has hope.

I dedicated my 21st bday art to Twenty One Pilots (of course) cause even though life didnt exactly magically became instantly better when i joined The Clique back in 2018, was intrigued by Jumpsuit MV and rest is history, they been the one thing that kept me going.

Of course there were so much fall backs and snap backs and failed attempts throughout these years but, I would say things did get better. And honestly it felt like my process was linked to their process of the lore. Its insane finding something I could relate word by word after years of being constantly conviced that I dont belong here nor deserve to be alive.

After ironically helping other clikkies who are struggling with their own mental health just like me for years to not end their stories even when i myself have wanted to, i think its time for me to listen to my own words. or at least try to.

and yes, thats my banditosona, no i still havent finish his reference sheet
