Penelope was stunned to say the least, a very apparent expression of confusion prominently displayed on her face. “You got on the Quidditch team?” She asked in disbelief, mostly for clarification. “How did you manage that?” Her sudden surprise had been wiped for a clear indication of pride. “That’s awesome Max! Congratulations!” Penelope looked up to him, a large smile pulling at her lips. “I’m really proud of you.” Of course, she had always been head over heels for him, but after they had slept together, things just seemed…different between them. That didn’t mean her feelings weren’t still there, because she felt her heart race at the look he gave her and butterflies filling her stomach.
“Yeah but I didn’t really mean to...” he said. “I just..played. It’s not all that hard if you know how to fly a broom, I don’t understand where all the fuss is about.” he muttered. He was a bit surprised at her excited reaction. “You are?” he asked surprised as she told him she was proud of him. “Oh...well thanks I guess.” he said while scratching his head. “I guess I didn’t expect it to be such a big deal. Will you come and cheer me on then?”

Chloe had tried her very best to avoid Pierson. But it didn’t matter how hard she tried. He always semed to find his way back. And for some stupid reason she allowed him to. She had convinced herself that their previous endeavors were merely the result of alcohol and terrible life choices. Things wouldn’t change because of it. Chloe was a master in lying to herself. She glared at him, in almost a familiar way she only seemed to save fot him whenever he approached her. “You want me to help you?” she asked while looking at his broom. “Are you sure? It’s not like we have proved to make a praticulary good team.” she said, meaning the potions class where they blew everything up. “Are you gonna try out for the team or something?”

“So, you said you had really good Quidditch skills, right?” Pierson had never been one to actually ride on a broomstick willingly, of course, he had his flyings lessons from his younger days, but now, it felt like he had been out of touch. “Maybe you could help me out a bit? With the flying bit at least?”

He winked back over to her, a cheeky grin reflecting his cool calm exterior. A short chuckle escaped as he nodded, before he added, “I sure do. You look good.” While Pierson had never really been this smooth before, he was going to take advantage of it as long as he could. “I mean— sure, maybe a little bit. But I made sure to steady myself, I think.” Pierson gave a once over at her, from head to toe and whistling at her appearance. “I slept most of it off, and…well— I think you helped last night too.” He grin grew before he headed towards the door. “I don’t think I’ll ever be over…this.” He gestured between them, still in disbelief he was able to shag Chloe after just a few times with her.
“Thanks?” Chloe said while eyeing him cautiously but she couldn’t hide the hint of a little smile. “Yeah well don’t let me catch you bragging about this to your friends.” she warned him. Oh god, she better tell Rhys before he got to him first. She wanted to share this on her own terms. Which in her book was only share it with Rhys and preferably keep it a secret from anyone else. Though she knew she couldn’t exactly forbid Pieson from speaking about it. For the love of magic, even with a hangover he was still goregeous. Chloe tried to remind herself what it had brought her mother and her entire family to fall for a pretty eyed Hufflepuff. “You know what...” she said. “I euhm...I totally forgot but I’ve...Quidditch pratice. I really can’t miss it with the games coming up. So, raincheck?”
#wanna end this and start something new?#Could be in class or at an actual quiddtich practice or outside or anything really haha#c:pierson#pierson002

“Yeah you wish.” Chloe muttered while grabbing her shirt and throwing it over her head. She couldn’t beleive how casual and confident he was. ike they were just two old friends who didn’t do anything different. Like he was Rhys...But he wasn’t. He was very different. And she liked it. What she didn’t like was admitting it. “Don’t you have a hangover at all?” she asked him while pulling up her pants, trying to take on the same careless attitude about their exposed bodies as him. “Alright, I’m ready.” she added. “I’m gonna need one hell of a breakfast to get over this.” she stated.

“W-what?” His touch on her back was horribly distracting. “Breakfast?” Normally she had wittier answers than just repeating everything the other said. She blamed the hangover and the awful confusing situation. “I shouldn’t...we shouldn’t...” she glared at him, realizing she didn’t sound really convincing. She stared at him as he threw off the covers and exposed himself while walking to find his clothes like it was nothing. Chloe tried not to stare. “A-alright...breakfast. But just that and after that we won’t talk about it anymore.”

Pierson’s voice sounded far away and Chloe grew aware of a thumping sensation in her head that caused every sound to be one to much. She glared at the Hufflepuff from under her eyelashes. “Oh merlin...” she muttered. Why he sounded like an excited little puppy was something that was lost on her, since there was nothing exciting about this. It was stupid, very stupid. Not only was he a Hufflepuff who had insulted her only a day earlier, they had been drunk and were supposed tow ork together for the rest of the semester. Why this had seemed like a good idea last night was now a riddle to her. She sat up. The light surrounding them way way too bright. “Pierson.” she greeted him back like they just handled some business transaction. “I should go.” was the first thing she said. “This was a terrible, terrible idea.” she stated while looking around for her scattered clothes, but they seemed impossible to find in her current state.

“You say that like there are multiple Ravenclaws driving you crazy.” she said teasing. “It’s ok, I’m not worry. I’m not your ordinary Ravenclaw and I’ll beat them to it.” As if to prove her statement she widended her legs for him, taking him in as he begged for entrance. Her loud gasp filled the room. After that everything was just mainly a blur of his skin, lips and a feeling of ultimate pleasure running through her entire body. At a certain point the spinning room, the heat of their bodies and their beating heart just seemed to melt together in a dream that ended up knocking her out for the rest of the night.
When she opened her eyes sunrays were kissing her skin. She was a bit cold and couldn’t right away grasp where she was or what had happened. There was a dry taste in her mouth that the alcohol had left and booming headache that distracted her from the fact that she was naked.

“My room it is then.” Pierson easily breathed back against her lips, a smirk tugging before he kissed her still. The alcohol rushed through his head, making the room spin, but the sudden fill of endorphins in his body gave the young man more adrenaline to keep going. “Let them talk.” He added with his hands wrapping around her waist and pulling her towards the door.
Chloe didn’t know how they managed to stumble through the corridors to the Hufflepuff common room, half kissing half walking. And all that while be drunk was quite a skill itself. She didn’t even really pay attention to how one entered the Hufflepuff common room, or if they had really reached or where they actually were. She just knew that she started riping off Pierson’s clothes before either of them could change their minds. “It’s really annoying that you’re so hot.” she muttered against his lips. “Damn Hufflepuffs.” she said before wrapping herself around him again.

He grinned over her, the breath of alcohol reeking off her breath. He knew he was in no state to make any good choices tonight, and he only pulled her closer to him, letting their foreheads touch slightly. “I’d like that.” Pierson let go softly, his arms snaking over her hips and resting there as his hands smoothed over her curves. “The only question is, do we go to your place or mine?” His grin grew as he took a moment to look over her again before pressing his lips against hers.
“I can’t even get into my common room sober...” Chloe commented as an answer to his question. Once his lips were on hers she was all game. Kissing him fiercely and reminding herself that they were at a party and she couldn’t just rip his clothes off right here. “You better take me to your castle before this party will really have something to talk about.” she muttered against his lips.

“Chloe, Chloe, Chloe—” Pierson blurted out moments later, grabbing a hold of her shoulder and pulling her in close to his side. “C’mon, who do you think I am? I’m not going to take advantage of you.” He gave a cheeky grin, misunderstanding her own words. “But I do want to keep hanging out with you.” He gave a slanted smirk towards her, with his other hand grabbing around her torso. “I think we could have a lot fun tonight.”
Chloe rolled her eyes but doing so caused the world around her to spin an awful lot so she grabbed on to Pierson a little tighter. “That’s not what I mean, Hufflepuff.” she said, her speach not so coherent anymore. “I think so too.” she agreed with a smile. “I mean we could bail on this party and create a little party of our own?” she suggested while moving a little closer to him. This was defintely something she was gonna regret in the morning but her drunk self had absolutely no grasp of that.

"Yeah well don't get used to it." She joked. "This is butterbeer speaking but by all means take advantage of it while it lasts." She smiled. "I like where this is going, tell me more. What do you suggest?" She adked while looking at him.
She laughed. “You’re right, perhaps I’m just looking for an excuse to dance with you.” she smiled. “Even after you burnt my hand and almost got us killed by centaurs.” she joked. Her hands moved briefly over his chest before returning to his shoulders.

“Of course— I always do.” Pierson also had had his fair share of drinks that night and they were really starting to take affect on him. He looked to the girl, pulling her in closer and getting rid of the space between them. “What? My moves are incredible!” He started defensively. “Though, I won’t complain if you’re the one helping me.”
She laughed. “You’re right, perhaps I’m just looking for an excuse to dance with you.” she smiled. “Even after you burnt my hand and almost got us killed by centaurs.” she joked. Her hands moved briefly over his chest before returning to his shoulders.

Once they had come upon the Centaurs, it seemed like that’s all he could focus on. They needed to act fast, getting out of the forest and back onto the safegrounds of Hogwarts, where magical beings knew to not stray too close to. With Chloe practically dragging him along, he barely kept up behind her, his heels digging into the grass underneath him with each step forward.
The Centaurs were chasing after them, and it almost seemed like they were gaining speed on them. With the flower in one hand and Chloe’s hand in the other, Pierson picked up his own speed, keeping up at Chloe’s side and finally finding the edge of the forest where the light of sun was waiting for them. He let go of her as soon as they made it and doubled over with a heavy breath just as well. “Oh my god— I can’t believe we did that.” Escaping from Centaurs wasn’t something you did everyday, and Pierson’s adrenaline was sky high. “Bloody hell.” He muttered, looking back to Chloe with a stupidly large grin plastered on his face.
Chloe needed to take a moment to grasp what had just happened but then she started laughing. “I can’t believe we just did that either.” she agreed. “That was...such a rush.” she said. She was also a bit upset she was so out of breath. The things she and Rhys had been trying weren’t workingenough yet. She shouldn’t be allowed to grow tired of this distance. “Well....I guess that’s enough forbidden forest for us today.” she said. “Will I see you tonight at Rhys’ party?” she asked him, a bit rhetorically since she already knew he would go. She neede to go and check on her experiment and was suddenly very eager to leave. “Tal to you later, ok?”

“Nice moves Chloe. You having a good time at the party?”
“Yeah, do you?” she asked. She had a lot of drinks before making the brilliant decision to go dance with the Hufflepuff. She could only focus at one thing at a time without the rest of the world starting to spin. At this moment it was Piers. And the fact her blood had turned into alcohol meant she was a lot less rational about her decision of why she should stay away from him. “Your moves could use some work on the other hand.” she teased him. “Maybe you could use some help.” she smiled while putting her hand in his neck and moving her hips of the rhythm of the music.

“Good point. Maybe I never thought about that.” Rhys chuckled at the teasing, a slight smirk pulling at his lips. “I don’t make that many mistakes. It’s just…different when…I’m with her.” It was a double standard of living that Rhys found himself in. Both Charlotte and Chloe were halfbloods, yet here was able, not afraid to introduce her to his friends. And maybe that just came with the relationship status of whatever he and Charlotte were. It was deep rooted on something he didn’t want to think about anymore. “I think it’ll help since we’ll be playing each other, huh?” He grinned, giving a short knowing wink. Everything they had been working on was pretty revolutionary, and even though he wasn’t sure how well it would work, or even if it’d work at all, he did want to test it. “Okay—” he started, unsure of what sort of distraction he could provide, but it was made evident within seconds of her pulling him close and their lips colliding that the kiss was the distraction. He didn’t want to linger too long in it, but he didn’t pull away immediately either.
The way he spoke Chloe noticed that there was obviously more goeing on with this girl than he tried to let on. She broke away from the kiss after a moment, smacking his shoulder. “Thanks, bud.” she said with a smile. “Now go find the girl you like, tell her you’re an ass and you’re sorry.” she said while turning around to the way Pierson was dancing. “And then I’ll go throw my life away to an diotic Hufflepuff.” she said with a big sigh. She smiled at Rhys. “Cheer up, it’s your birthday. Which also means you can do whatever the hell you want. So leave it and go after her if that’s what you need to do. Talk to you tomorrow.”

“Yeah, he’s an idiot too.” Rhys replied. “Clearly I don’t make friends with geniuses, except you of course.” He complimented, knowing that the girl and him were a very good team in terms of creating things on their own accord. “It always is a little bit dangerous. But that’s what makes those trips exciting.” He winked over her, eyes wide with curiosity. “I am glad you guys made it out alive, or else you wouldn’t have made it to my party.” Giving her a cheeky grin, he elbowed her lightly and then looked towards the exit. “I might. I need to find her though. And then I can tell her how big of a jerk I was being. It was just some of my friends came around and I got nervous about how they’d react if they found out— that I was hanging around her.” He didn’t want to let anyone know about his relationship with Charlotte, if he could even call it that anymore. “Tomorrow would be good. I’m free, and we can…maybe…practice a few things out?”
Chloe chuckled. “Perhaps you do that so you can make yourself feel smarter.” she joked. “Yeah because that would be my biggest concern, your party.” she replied. “Not being stamped to death by a bunch of centaurs.” she added. “Aha.” she said, getting sort of a vibe what ‘hanging out’ with her might mean. THough she knew better than to ask. He would tell her if he wanted to and prying would just make things uncomfortable. “Just make an effort if yo ureally care. We all make mistakes.” she said with a shrug. “And you make than a litlte more often than others so she better get used to it.” she grinned. “Yeah, tomorrow afternoon.” she agreed. “It would be good if we have another litte break through for the match next week.” she said in a low voice. She eyed the room and saw that Pierson was dancing with some people that obviously weren’t her. She tried to hide her annoyance but being petty as she was she turned to Rhys instead. “I need some distraction.” she then said and out of the blue she grabbed him and kissed him.
