My latest Phantom crush: Gardar Thor Cortes (first one was at 11 years old when I saw the Claude Raines version)   Although I find the plot for LND absurd, I was blown away by Gardar’s passionate and moving portrayal of the Phantom.  Now he’s one of my top three favorites!

In her first vlog, Bonnie Anne Pinard delves into a brief explanation of her nearly lifelong love for the Phantom of the Opera story in all it’s genres and interpretations.  She also enlightens fans about the unique working relationship she and her son Nathan Allen Pinard shared in the creation of “The Angel’s Song” Immortal Aria’s album of original songs and music.

My original Phantom of the Opera inspired song won best Adult Contemporary Song of the Year at the IMEA awards!!! (International Music and Entertainment Association)  This is the first award for Immortal Aria’s “The Angel’s Song”  Check out our youtube page to hear all 10 tracks from the album!

At least I can sleep well knowing that Julia will be in New Orleans before heading to Broadway :D

I’m also wondering if the tour is a starting place for future Broadway cast members. Not necessarily a bad thing.

After nearly 30 hours of work, my mask is finally done, and ready to be sent off to the exhibit! :D

The above pictures were taken before the final layer of clear gloss was applied, so that I could photograph it without glare popping up all over the place (the shape still made it a challenge to photograph, though). It has since been clear-coated, and received several rhinestone accents on Christine’s costume/mask/ring:
