jinah feels lightheaded when the other confirms her suspicion and she tries so, so hard to maintain a straight face. “oh,” she almost squeaks, but the question asked when seungjun realises that it’s her who had messaged him makes her want to leave planet earth — did he think she was weird for that? jinah reaches for her name tag half way before she realises that the handsome man that she idolizes would’ve probably seen it already and she sighs softly, “well … i did message you a few times but— i’m sorry if it annoys you!” she puts her hands on the counter and leans forward a little, eyes round as she looks at seungjun. “i just really like what you post and the pictures are all so pretty and — gah, i’m rambling aren’t i? it must be weird, right? i’m sure you have a lot of messages to reply to and you don’t have to reply to me but i’m just glad you were able to read them!” she’s already dead inside by the end of the sentence and she could feel kenzo judging her from the kitchen, way to go, jinah.

“no need to apologize, it’s not annoying at all,” seungjun says hastily, although he does appreciate jinah’s thoughtfulness. very rarely did seungjun read private messages from his followers, but he just so happened to be looking for new coffee shops and jinah’s suggestion had piqued his curiosity. "you’re the very first person who recognized me in public, actually.” obviously. not that he was complaining about it—it was bound to happen, especially since it should have been easy for jinah to put the puzzle pieces together. “thank you. i’m glad you like my content.” while seungjun wasn’t familiar with other ‘influencers’, he’d heard of jinah song from nabi and byeol. they’re going to have a field day questioning him if they ever find out about this encounter. “um, can i also get a peach tart? with the latte.”

harley kwon (fc: jung hoseok, president of alpha sig) is Technically a part of this verse and will be offhandedly mentioned at times in ian’s threads since he’s also a frat d00d ^______^ he’s closed for romantic plots but honestly i could see him interacting w/ fellow frat brothers or sorority sisters 🤨🤨

                A  FRAT  PARTY.  how  in  the  blue  hell  did  she  end  up  here?  to  hand  something  to  her  friend,  duh!  pebbles  graduated  earlier  in  2021,  meaning  she  was  no  longer  a  college  student  -  she  was,  however,  alumni.  it  didn’t  mean  she  was  the  type  to  party,  though.  in  fact,  the  sooner  she  found  her  friend,  the  sooner  she  could  get  out  of  here.  her  eyes  scanned  the  crowd,  them  widening  the  second  she  saw  the  familiar  female.  “  oh,  good.  ”  she  exclaimed,  making  her  way  through  the  crowd.  she  gave  a  few  smiles  to  those  she  recognized,  although  it  was  a  little  bit  hard  with  everyone  crowding  together.  “  here!  i’m  getting  outta  here,  i’m  out  of  place.  ”  she  turned  around  and  bumped  right  into  someone.  “  whoops!  sorry,  i-i’m  just  leaving.  ”      a  starter  for  @chaosassembly​ !

ian was in his element—greeting every single person who walks through the big doors of alpha sig, drinking with his friends, and overall feeding off everybody’s energy. harley had tasked him with handing out shots to their guests, which he’d been enthusiastically doing for the past half-hour. “oh, woah—” how ian managed not to tumble over and drop the tray of tequila shots all over the floor was a miracle, even in his slightly inebriated state. the wtoman who’d bumped into him was a complete stranger, but he still deflates when he realizes she was about to take off. “huh? but the night’s just getting started!” he whines out, “hereherehere, take a shot! we’re holding a beer pong tournament in ten minutes. it’s reeeeaaaally fun stuff so you should stay a bit longer.”

short - stuff had been pouting ever since the measurements,   a sour expression manifesting through a crinkle in alice’s forehead,   and a bitter pledge of silence.   she takes the jacket without even looking up from the ground,   and it is ungraceful in the way she bundles the fabric up in a mess against her chest.   what’s worse is the jacket almost completely covers her smaller frame,   only rubbing salt in the wound.   ❛   rebel scum.   ❜   alice quotes,   ❛   —you suck so bad.   i’m going to place a curse on your first - borns.   ❜   

jinsoo unfortunately has not watched any of the star wars films, so the reference is lost on him. “can—can you not hold it like that?” he frowns, eyeing the jacket with concern, “it’s cashmere.” and expensive, but he stops himself from mentioning that lest she hurl it across the park. “y'know, daniel said something about doing some stretching exercises every morning to make himself grow taller. you should try doing that. we can come back next year.”

ian’s eyes light up. “a gift card? that’s what you want?” he asks, already moving to pull his wallet out—strangely, he’s been doing that a lot recently. “how much?”

jinah wouldn’t stop talking about how the one and only junstudies came to the café the other day and there were a few possibilities that she could think of that leads her to the mystery man behind the account. she’s thinking hard when she sees a familiar customer – it’s not difficult to remember such a handsome face – and she gasps quietly. could it be? jinah waits until he mentions his order – aha ! matcha latte ! – and she keys it in before she hesitantly looks up at the other, “um … excuse me, by any chance … are you,” she leans closer to whisper, “are you junstudies?”        @chaosassembly​

ice cold provided that sense of peace and quiet that no other coffee shops offered. the cafes closer to university were too crowded, often bustling with students. multinational coffeehouse chains were tolerable at best—seungjun found it difficult to concentrate when there was a crying baby right beside him. ice cold was smack dab in the middle of serene and lively; seungjun was pleased that he’d finally found a go-to place where he can read and work without being disturbed. “yes,” he says, offering the pretty barista a polite smile. seungjun chose to keep his studygram anonymous purely for the sake of avoiding social interactions, so he’s beyond surprised to hear the question. then, a lightbulb goes off in his head. “oh, wait... were you the person who messaged me? song jinah?”
