Bad Guy Design help

I need help deciding the species of the bad guys that are going to steal a family’s home, trap the ghosts of the family they killed in the earth, then become evil vengeful spirits themselves and end up kidnapping the descendants of said family.

So here’s another vote for Poppy’s PlayPlace!

Episode ideas are easy and hard at the same time.

Like, I can throw out a handful of ideas and even be able to flesh out one of them almost enough to write a draft maybe.

Poor Huxley only has two, one is a flashback, and the other is just a summary with the ending footnote that after the events of that 3episode epic there’ll be more hints at later episodes for different characters.

There’s even more Flashbacks I want to get into with him, like his relationship with his twin sister, how he met his boyfriend/husband and the deal HugBug made. Which, the whole ‘Deal’ situation is more of a HugBug thing so, ultimately irrelevant to this…

Putting him in episodes that doesn’t revolve around him will be fairly easy since I like imagining him interacting with his Nephew Boxy and his friends he’ll probably be the primary babysitter. And times besides that he’s around. Especially the vacation episode where a new character and her family is introduced.

But I do want more episodes where he’s a primary character. Maybe I should have him trapped in a train that’s going too fast to get off.

Have him find a cursed item. Follow a strange trail in the woods? (A LOT is going to happen in the woods.

While on a road trip he and NightLight could stumble upon a corn worshipping cult because NightLight likes candy corn?

I’ve decided I shouldn’t keep bugging my friends everytime I have small lore ideas so from now on I’m gonna do a public vote if I can’t pick something!

We’ll start off with Doey’s parent’s jobs. I’ve had a bit of trouble coming up with stuff for them for a while. Today I finally thought of something! Since my original plan for Doey was for him to be an adult and a principal of the elementary school before I decided he deserved a good childhood I was wondering if I should make one or both his parents the principal instead?

Well except the one I need to write down where Lacy Learns the organ to woo Echo…

Episode placement, titles, and Synopsis are subject to alterations. I will do my best to keep this up to date. I would also appreciate feedback and questions about these.

Season 1

New Girls in Town - The SkyScree sisters just moved into a sleepy town called ToyWood. They not entirely sure what this place holds, but they’ll each find a special place here soon enough.

Neighborhood Watch - The kids want to give a grand tour to their new gang member! Show her all the wonderful sights and fun things to do!

The Woods - Kissy often finds herself looking at the woods bordering her backyard every night. She isn’t sure why at first, but after a while she swears she sees…Something in there, moving, maybe it’s watching back?

Lovey’s Letter - Huggy’s mom received a mysterious letter from a couple that seem to be a fan of her work, but The ToyBox gang are a bit suspicious of these two, they don’t seem to have many books around and before they got kicked out they noticed an odd old door that was locked with strange sounds coming from inside...What are they hiding?

First Day of School - The kids are none too happy about the new teacher. Bunzo has been telling them all she’s the worst one of the grade. She even gives homework out on the first day! Ugh, Bunzo’s often full of it, but Elaine remembers how annoyed he was everyday after school so maybe there’s truth to those terrible rumors?

Getaway Park - Deep in the southwest parts of the woods lies the overgrown remains of an old theme park. The kids that lived in this town all their lives hear stories about that place. The teens say it was open for only a few years until a horrific accident killed a bus of kids! The adults who actually went there say the business got rough and things just shut down one day. But if you listen really close, you can still hear rides whirring to life with the screams of riders followed by the laughter of the maniac who built the place.

Girl’s Night - Finally Elaine has a sister and a girly friend who loves pink like her! She’s so ready to have fun sleep overs where they can talk about boys and do makeup. It’ll all go just as she imagined, right?

The Terrible Tutor - Boxy has noticed his dad hasn’t really had much time for him lately, always grumbling into himself and looking exhausted. He starts to wonder if he did something wrong to annoy him and figures if he gets his ok grades to perfect maybe he’ll notice? Unfortunately this idea of his lead him to a very unusual educational game. A game with a very real danger!

The Big Switch - everyone wonders what happened to make Uncle Huxley and dad get along as decently as they do. Reluctantly Boom decides it’s time everyone learned about the day that changed their lives forever.

Momma’s Mirror - It’s almost Yarnaby’s Mom’s birthday and he’s desperate to find a gift she’ll love and actually use instead of the same ‘lame card’ he always makes her. He thinks he found the perfect one! An old hand mirror with pretty animals molded on it. The mirror is old and so is the thing that lives in it…

The Costume Trick - The ToyBox gang is excited to show Kissy their devilishly grand fall festival and all is delectable Treats! Unfortunately for them, someone else is coming to town and she has a nasty little trick that may ruin everyone else’s fun. Can the gang help everyone get back to the way they were before it’s too late?

The 13th BluePrint (3 parter) - Uncle Huxley has been notified of an unusual inheritance! Wait, why just Huxley what about his twin Jacklyn!?! Well, she doesn’t seem to mind…Still, neither of them remember any old relatives, why did he get this now? What’s so special about this unusually large house and why does no one go in there?

A Pug’s Life - Elaine always wondered what her pet Pugapillar PJ was thinking in that seemingly empty head of his. So when she saw a pair of collars that are meant to help read minds she didn’t even hesitate. She probably should have because she failed to read the fine print and now she knows exactly what it’s like to be a Pugapillar. Can she get her old body back or has it gone to greener pastures?

The Music Thief - Children of the Halved Harlequin are known for a few things, but the most alluring of all is their beautiful music boxes and their peaceful feelings. Every HalvedHarlequin knows better than to play their tune outside at night or the Music Hunter will steal them away. Never to be seen or heard again…

Doey’s Dilemma - Poor Doey is sick and tired of having to sit out on snow days! He wants to be able to play in the cold snow like everyone else! Can his friends help him out or is he destined to forever freeze in those harsh winter months?

Kissy’s Gift - Miss Kissy has been very thankful for her new friends and wants to give each of them something very special for ThreadLife. She thinks she has everything figured out but…Huggy! She’s been putting it off for so long because nothing felt good enough, now that the day’s almost here there’s no way she’ll have something in time! But she can’t give up! She’ll find the perfect present if it’s the last thing she does!

Boxy and his father seem to be the only ones unaffected. How are they going to set things right? Can they fix everything before someone gets hurt, or worse?

Terror Time Isles - Something has gone horribly awry while during an invention debut. Now the chain of islands they were testing on has become a war zone of ancient Dino Toy factions fighting over control of the scientists. Can BlackJack find his sister and help the others out of this mess? How did it all go wrong?
