Okay. But what if Fina leaves to study photography? Eventually, they are desperate to connect beyond sparse phone calls crammed between busy schedules so they begin exchanging detailed love letters.

Fina shares with Marta the new experiences she has pursuing photography. A photo of an elderly man using an umbrella with holes in it. A gleeful child, "He was crying over spilled ice cream three minutes ago." Glimpses of Fina's day-to-day delivered through the perspective of her camera lens.

Marta witnesses Fina's artistic eye take shape over time. She's mesmerized by Fina's curated taste. It's an aphrodisiac to someone as aesthetically inclined as Marta.

In turn, Marta writes Fina whatever is on her heart. Short stories, poems, analysis of the images Fina last sent, "Its the fact he still had a lit cigarette under the broken umbrella for me."

At first, Marta writes glorious declarations of love and longing. But in time, the letters move from expressions of love to unabashed expressions of desire. Temptation and distance leaving Fina dizzy. Every time she puts down Marta's letters looking like...

Flustered beyond putting pen to paper, Fina becomes her own muse. She poses before a mirror.

"For your eyes only xoxo - F"

Marta opens the letter hastily and examines the photo. She's stunned to see Fina splayed across her bed, the soft contours of her naked body captured in the glorious rays of light flooding through an open window.

Something along these lines...

At that point, who can blame Marta for showing up at Fina's door breathless, disheveled, and on a mission?

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

The current state of Mafin has been making me sad. So I'm taking a break from the Mafin Vampire AU which has a dark-horny vibe.

Instead I'm writing a Mafin one shot with a more fluffy-horny vibe.

It's a cutesy story with Marta and Fina being childhood friends to lovers. The modern AU is infused with lots of classic fluff tropes so I can maximize the dopamine hit I get from writing it.

It's adorable so far!

(With a little smut for flavor.)

I'm off these next few days so I'm excited to work on it!
