Celeste smiled, her nose slightly nudging his as she closed her eyes. “Are you going to do what your song said or do I have to do that?”

A small smile replaced his expression of shock, and he placed his forehead to hers. “Well, I’m certainly glad.” He chuckled softly.

She smiled softly, placing a hand on his cheek. “I’m glad you told me. I would have never thought you liked me in the way that I like you… or love.. or.” She shook her head laughing quietly at herself.

“I didn’t really know how to tell you.” He said honestly, pulling her closer to him. “But I’m glad I did.” He admitted. “Even if it took me this long.”

“I did.. I loved it.” She nodded her head, smiling softly. “No, no, no. I am… I mean, I do. I do feel the same. I just.. Why didn’t you tell me before?” She asked grabbing his hand gently.

“Yeah..” He smiled softly at her, raising a brow. “I’ve been writing that one for sometime now, did you like it?” He questioned. “It’s okay if you don’t feel the same Celeste, I just needed to get it off my chest.

Her smile slowly faded, the realization coming to her. She felt like an idiot, not realizing that it was a song he had specifically wrote for her. “So you.. You wrote that for me? You meant all of that?” She looked over at him, hiding the smile that was about to form on her face. “You feel that way about me?”

A moment was spent just staring at her, he seemed a little shocked that she didn’t understand what he was trying to say, but he simply regarded it as her telling him in a nice way that the song was nice, but she didn’t feel that way. “Well not exactly..I actually sort of wrote it for you.” He mumbled.

Celeste loved listening to Charlie sing. It gave her goosebumps and butterflies swarmed her stomach every time. He had the most beautiful voice she had ever heard and she felt lucky that she would get to hear his songs before he even recorded them. A smile never left her lips as he sang. Every now and then she would close her eyes, getting lost in the music. By the end of the song, she couldn’t help but to grin looking over at him. “That was absolutely beautiful.. One of your best songs yet.” She nodded. “You wanted me to hear it first?”

She got out of the car, walking over to him. “Stalking you, obviously.” She laughed, rolling her eyes as she followed him to the door, holding the guitar case with one hand. Celeste walked in after him and set down the guitar case against the wall, “Awh, My little graham cracker.” She smiled, scooping the small kitten, picking him up and sitting on the couch. “Ooh a song.” She smiled. “Go for it, lovely.” 

Charlie had to compose himself, beginning to strum the notes on his guitar, before he began to sing, his voice seeming quieter then usual yet just as powerful. “Settle down with me, cover me up, cuddle me in.” He sang, and by the last line he was sitting next to her, a warm smile on his face. “Were falling in love.”

Finally making it back to his place, he shut off the car and got out. “Hey, what are you doing stalker?” He said in a joking tone, smirking over at her. Sighing, he put the key in the lock and turned, a meow greeting him as he walked through the door. “Oh hey little man.” He chuckled, bending down to pet the tabby kitten, before scooping him up and placing him in his makeshift pile of blankets. Grabbing his guitar from the closet, he took a deep breath and stood close to walked back over to Cel. “Ready?”

“Yeah, I’ll see you there.” She smiled, getting into her own car, moving the goodiebag she snatched from the table into the passenger seat before getting herself situated. Turning on the radio in the car, she quietly sang along, backing out of the parking space and following Charlie home.

Every time she confirmed those words his heart fluttered in his chest. He squeezed her hand gently back. “Follow me back in your car?” He questioned. If they would have gone together it would have been easier, but sadly they did not. Hopping into the drivers seat of his own car, he watched out his mirror her actions. Slowly he let the car fill with music, as he headed towards home.

She smiled softly. “And I love you too.” She nodded, smiling quietly while watching Roni’s set. “Maybe I could tell her..” She looked back as well, scrunching her nose. “Nope, I’ll leave them alone.. I think he will congratulate her plenty. Lets go then?” She silently followed him out of the crowd and towards the exit, gently squeezing his hand.

“Yes because I love you, and your special.” He nods, pressing a kiss to her forehead.” From then on, he stayed silent until the end of the set, applauding and cheering her on. He grabbed Celeste’s hand and moved to escape the crowd with her. “Did you want to say something to her before we go..or..” He looked behind himself, realizing she was already all over her boyfriend. “Nevermind..”

She grinned proudly. “Because you love me and I’m special.” She laughed lightly. “Oh please. You do all the work. I just listen and sob at how easly it all comes to you. You’re the ginger Jesus anyway. You don’t even need my help half the time.”  She pouted slightly. “Oh fine, but you know I don’t have that much patience when it comes to surprises.”

“Well you hear all of my songs before everyone else does, because you are special.” He said with a prideful smirk playing at his lips. “Without being a spy.” He chuckled. “You help me improve them anyways though, so I guess I have to thank you for that.” He smiled softly. “You’ll see when we get there.”

Celeste raised an eyebrow. “Now I’m really curious of what it could be.” She nodded, watching Roni, slightly humming along to the song. “I’ve actually heard this song before everyone else did because I am a special person.” She laughed quietly and shook her head. “Actually I was just being a spy while she recorded it.. shh.”

“Oh..yeah.” He nodded. “Though I could probably show you at either, let’s just go back to my place then.” He smiled warmly, turning back to watch Roni on stage. She really did show off a fun and quirky way of taking the stage.

She nodded, looking back over at him. “Yeah. That’s why I just don’t use my second one.” Looking back at the stage to catch the end of the song. “We can go to either, but I thought you said you had something for me at your place?” She shrugged, smiling.

Charlie looked over at her, shrugging. “I have three, but that one is the most important to me.” He smiled softly. “It’s my first one, holds a lot of sentimentality.” He nods.  “Did you wanna go back to my place, or yours?” He questioned, not caring which she decided on.

“He’s like a cute little fur ball that you can’t help but cuddle up to.” She nodded smiling. “Possibly, but she’s still rocking it and yeah.” Leaning against the other, she kept her hand locked with his. “You did, but its actually in my car right now. I put it in one of my cases, but I thought you might miss it… Even though you have like what? Three?”

“Well he’s very happy about that, because you are probably his most favorite. Like no competition. Other then myself of course.” He shook his head. “And when it comes to that, barely.” He smiled, watching the girl perform. “We didn’t miss too much did we?” He made a face, realizing she didn’t seem to be on her first song but more so her second or third. “Oh by the way, did I leave my guitar at your place?”

“Aw, Graham will always be my favorite, besides Princeton of course.” She smiled, nodding as she followed him into the crowd. “She’s amazing. Well, I’m sure you already knew that, but her stage presents is phenomenal.” She stopped herself, raising an eyebrow. “Okay, now that I hear myself, maybe that’s why people thing Roni and I are in a secret relationship.” She laughed to herself, shaking her head.

“Well see AJ is making you seem like the crazy cat lady because she’s never around. Besides technically Graham is also your cat.” He smiled softly at her. “Oh well thanks, we should catch your friend signing before we leave?” He questioned, heading closer to the crowd that had gathered, her hand interlocked with his.

“Technically, Princeton is my only cat.. AJ got the other two and they belong to her, but I help take care of them.” She smiled. “I think Im already considered the crazy cat lady of hollywood.” A faint blush tinted her cheeks. “Well it smells very good. Like really good actually.”

“No..no it’s not a cat?” He scrunched up his nose in slight confusion. “I think you really do have more then enough of those, we can’t have you being the cat lady of hollywood. I shall not allow it.” He smiled, pecking her cheek. “I put a little cologne on..whoops?”

“And you’re my prince.” She nodded, smiling softly as he pulled her into a hug. “If it’s a cat, I don’t have enough room.. AJ’s already got two here and I’ve got Princeton.” Giving him a light squeeze, she looked up at him. “Did you use cologne or something?”

“Celeste.” He sighed. “You are my princess.” His eyes flicked up to meet hers with his own. “I really mean that.” He smiled softly, pulling her into a hug. “After the party, I have something for you at my house..” He nodded. Roni better be right about all of this, or he would feel like the lowest man on earth.

“You’re my key to happiness.” She smiled before nodding softly as he spoke. “I just, you’re gonna find your princess and im gonna be stuck with Princeton.” She laughed lightly, lightly bumping his shoulder. “You can be honest with me. I just get worked up and nervous and sometimes I think about stuff like that.” Quietly, she played with her fingers. She could be honest with charlie about everything, except for the way she really felt.

“I doubt it’s impossible, I’m not exactly the key to happiness.” He chuckled softly, looking down at his feet as she spoke up about her concerns, his eyes widening as she continued further. “A girl that makes me more happy? Th-that’s not possible Celeste.” He shrugged, realizing that was the absolute truth. “I wouldn’t choose anyone over you, ever.”

“Well how can’t I be happy when you’re around? That’s like an impossible task.” She smiled slightly, nodding as she tossed the napkin in the trash. “I just, I know that we started um, dating because you wanted to protect me but what’s going to happen when you find a girl who makes you more happy? Hopefully she’ll still let you hang out with me. I mean, I obviously wont go back to Luke.. like ever, but I don’t know. I thought about it last night and I just wanted to know what we would do?”
