When 3 doesn’t seem like 3.
I’d be lying if I said that we’ve been through hard times together because looking back, growing and learning with you was (and still is) a piece of cake. Except of course for days that I just have to expend a little more of my patience and understanding because lagpas sagad na yung iyo. I’ll take care of that. But apart from the business that sometimes is way too shitty for us to handle, you take care of our relationship flawlessly.
Thank you for your surprise dinner. I didn’t know you had tricks in your bag. Good thing I wore a dress, hahahaha! And being your usual self, you just laughed at me when I got a bit emotional and maarte. Typical. Most of all, thank you for making me laugh always when I’m sad and for loving me unconditionally. Thank you also for filling me up with so much food, so much Nihon Toro Maki, for finishing my food when I order way too much, for making me fat, and for making me lose weight after making me fat. Such compromise. Hahahaha!
I Love you beyond words and beyond funny kisses!
P.S. I still hate how oily my hair turned out after our massage. Panget tuloy ng bangs ko.
P.P.S. Please let me know if we’re having Nihon for Dinner..I will reconsider fasting today or spend extra time in the Gym tomorrow. Hahahaha!

***SUPER DUPER LATE POST THAT WAS LEFT IN MY DRAFTS BOX 🤦🏻♀️***
I don’t think I’m the type of person who fondly celebrates Valentine’s Day. Why celebrate Love only on the 14th of the 2nd month when you can do it year round? Even my Grinch of a boyfriend thinks so, too. I can’t recall what we did the past years for Valentine’s. I think years ago, we went to La Union. And then last year, we had Dinner. I have more memories of us being cheesy on other days of the year/s. This year’s was quite special. We spent “Hallmark Day” a day before and a day after. I guess because we had to bust our asses off to make other couples happy on the 14th.
Miko, my almost melting cold-hearted sweetheart got me something for Valentine’s. He’s not big on celebrating it, but he wanted to get me Flowers. But of course he didn’t, because all they had were Roses. I don’t like Roses. I don’t like generic Flowers that can be bought in the Grocery. I like Peonies, Tulips, Sunflowers, and even Succulents. I’m quite choosy, and he knows it. Instead of Flowers, I kept pestering him to get me Goldilocks Classic Polvoron. And he did! Ahhhh! My heart. My heart and a bagful of Polvoron. Happy Me on Valentine’s Day. It came with a surprise love letter too. He always does that. He always drops me secret love letters. Inside my car, inside the cabinet, inside the chiller. You name it. He keeps it fun and exciting. He doesn’t know it, but he’s good with words. He told me that he can’t find the right words, but he definitely spots on know how to make my heart melt. He’s very expressive despite being Poker Faced. That’s what I love about him. He’s just like the Rosary, full of mysteries. Hahahaha!
My Dad also got me something for Valentine’s. When I got home from Work, there was a jar filled with Chocolates and a lovely note, to pair it with, waiting for me at the dining Table. My Dad never forgets to get me something for Valentine’s. I’m sure he got my Mom something, too. And the ladies at his office got Chocolates also. Despite being strict about work, he’s still the sweetest Boss/Dad ever :)
I may or may not be a fan of Valentine’s Day. But I surely appreciate the efforts my loved ones put into celebrations. I’m still a firm believer in celebrating Love 365 Days a year.
Hope yours was as cheesy as mine.

Turning 28
I originally had a lengthy blog post for when I turn 28. But because of crappy internet, it disappeared, somewhere between the Black Hole and the Bermuda Triangle.
Most people fear aging. I, on the contrary, celebrate. Life, as cliche as it may sound, is meant to be cherished, enjoyed, and loved. Even the bad days make us appreciate more the good ones.
To know me better, I have chosen 28 random things that I live for, facts about me that many don’t know yet, and things that I love or would want to do.
Here we go...
1. The World is already so full of negative people and negative situations, I choose to be different. I choose be hopeful and optimistic that’s why my everyday Mantras are...
I try my best to spread positivity amongst my loved ones and not get sucked into negativity. I’m very transparent though. If you see me put on a poker or my resting bitch face, then you’d know that something bad is up. If I cry, then I’m really worn out.
2. I absolutely love Japanese and Mexican Food, but nothing beats my Momma’s Cooking!
3. I have neutral opinions about Politics. I only talk about my personal views with my boyfriend and my best friend.
4. I live for White Sneakers. Doesn’t matter if they get soiled easily, White Sneakers are a must in my wardrobe. I wear them with anything and everything.
5. I love driving through the Skyway on a Sunny and Cloudy Day with my Spotify on. It calms me.
6. These are my favorite Feel Good Playlists plus FRANCO & CHET FAKER! These Playlists are from my 2014 Mix. 2014 was MY YEAR-ROUND SUMMER.

8. I want to backpack my way through the World, but I have Scolio, so I’ll just suitcase my way..haha..
9. I love studying and learning. I have two Degrees/Diplomas. I also have Certificates from different short courses. There’s no stopping me from learning. It helps me become a well-rounded & flexible individual. I used to hate having to go through various Summer Classes when I was a Kid, but as I grew older, I LOVEEED IT! If I only had time now, I’d take a Business Course at DLSU or ADMU. We’ll see, keeping my options open.
10. Most girls want a Zara/Mango Closet. Though I’d like to have that too, my ultimate dream/goal is to have a Uniqlo Closet.
11. I absolutely adore my Pamangkins and Baby Doggies. After a long day/week of Work, seeing them makes me one Happy Tita/Momma.
12. Caffeine a day, keeps my grumpy at bay.
13. I collect Starbucks Christmas Mugs / Tumblers. Every. Single. Year. At times, I get 2 in a Year..hihi..
14. I asked Miko if he could get me a Red Toyota 86 or Pearly White Subaru BRZ as my Mommy Car, because Dream Car. Ayaw nya ata..hahaha..Mukhang Scale Model lang bibigay niya sakin! hihi
15. One of my future goals (with Miks) is to live in Japan for a month. Or in Baler. Or BOTH! Snow & Sand!
16. Hummus & Pita and Pancake House Pan Chicken are my comfort food.
17. Headache/Migraine is my worst enemy.
18. I have no fears of getting darker skin in the beach. Matter of fact, I’d trade my fair complexion for Kelia Moniz’s. Kelia, btw, is my favorite Surfer.
19. I’m naturally athletic. I was Volleyball Varsity from Grade 7 til I graduated High School. I also excel at Badminton, Muay Thai, and Jackstones occassionally..hehe..
20. I got both of my (inside) wrist Tattoos in 2014. The one on my left is “Faith”, to remind me that my “Faith is always bigger than my Fears”. The one on the right is a “Queen’s Crown”. Miko and I wanted matching Tattoos and we figured we’d get Crowns. It constantly reminds me of strength and how we both could do wonders together, I always tell him that. I want to get two more Tattoos: one is a Round one with a wave on the inside because I’ve always believed that the waves have helped me wash away my fears and anxiety, and a handwriting of my Dad that says “I Love You” because my Dad means everything to me. I’m still not sure where I want to put both Tattoos.
21. I always follow road rules but I’m one hot headed driver. I hate irresponsible drivers. I hate people who cause bad traffic. Time is precious, stop wasting my time.
22. I’m a sucker for Adventure. The wildest thing I’ve done is a Bungee Jump in Danao, Bohol called “Plunge”.
23. Once a year, my Friends and I splurge on Travel. We’ve been doing it since {after} College :)

24. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was in Grade School. I have poor eyesight. I’m considering Lasik in the future. Speaking of glasses, its a must to curl my lashes prior to wearing glasses because my lashes are naturally way too long. Think Car Wipers.
While others believe that Kilay is Life, I believe Lash is Life.
25. I can’t lie in bed with outside clothes on, most especially when it feels like I have dirty feet.
26. I hate working on a cluttered table (Kitchen and Office). I get easily distracted with random things on my Station. I always make sure my area is clean and spotless.
27. I love people who make me laugh and can carry insightful conversations.
28. I love Stripey Clothes and Navy + Brown Bags.
So that’s me! I wish I could post more, but I’ll save it for my 29th :)
