I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star. May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out.
In The Lord of The Rings, Galadriel gifts Frodo with the Light of Eärendil, which he and Sam then use to fend off Shelob, among a few other things. For this reason, I thought it perfect to center this Light around a spell for courage, protection, and strength.
*Note: I originally made this spell to be used for courage, strength, protection, and power. But I find it can also be used for happiness and healing magic.
What You’ll Need:
Glass bottle with lid
Moon water
Silver glitter
White shampoo or liquid soap
A clear, starry night
Your breath
Instructions:
The container can be a small vial necklace to carry with you, or a bottle to hold in your hand. Whatever suits your fancy. Looking up at the stars, feel their cool, comforting glow penetrate your body. Pick up the moon water and transfer the glow into it. Slowly pour the water into the bottle, leaving a bit of space at the top. Keep imagining the glow going through your body, through the water, and into the bottle. Once you’re done, imagine the bottle glowing bright with this light. Try to hold this visualization throughout the rest of the spell.
Pour in a few drops of the shampoo/soap. Just enough to give it a silvery-white glow (you might want to experiment beforehand with different soaps and different amounts to see what works. It’ll be a bit foggy, but that’s what we want. Just make sure it’s not too foggy). If you can’t get the color right, just skip this step. Keep visualizing the glow.
Hold the glitter and imagine that they are stars that have been plucked out of the sky. Infuse the glitter with the glow, then gently pour it little by little into the bottle, until you get the amount you want. You can use as much or as little as you like. Keep visualizing the glow.
Hold the bottle to the sky so the stars shine through it. Say with power and meaning, “Aiya Eärendil elenior ancalima!” (”Hail Eärendil, brightest of the stars!”) Visualize the glow getting brighter. Gently blow into the bottle and cap it.
Hold the glow for a while longer, then let it dim inside the bottle. Now you have bottled starlight!
To Use:
Hold it when you are scared, need a boost of power or strength, protection, etc. Repeat the prayer into it (preferably in Elvish, as this is what Frodo unknowingly says when he uses it, but if you can’t, English is fine) and visualize the glow.
Gently shake it to get the soap and glitter moving. Imagine it glowing brighter and concentrate on the swirls of the sky (soap) and the glittering of the stars (glitter). Let the light slowly dim down when you’re done.
Set it in the starlight on a clear night to recharge.

Brain Fog Relief NEED: A white or silver candle Matches or a lighter An orange or citrus water flavoring packet A knife A glass or a water bottle.
light a white or silver candle, by a window, if you can’t open it, at least have the curtains open, letting sunshine into the room. take an orange, slicing it into four sections, later on you will be squeezing the juice into a glass./ Alternatively, buy orange water flavoring, pour some in a bottle and shake with the intent for clarity and alertness. (This is the preferred choice.) Close your eyes, breathe in for a count to seven, hold for a count to five and breathe out slowly. Chant “eglurder dod o hyd i mi” (Welsh, it means clarity find me, you can use any language you are most comfortable using.) three times as you squeeze one of the orange slices over a glass to collect the juice, or as you are shaking the water bottle to dissolve the powder. Drink this throughout the day, repeat as needed.

Witches shouldn’t have to work when it’s storming. We’ve got too much witchy work to do instead. It should be rule.

Witch Tip:
Trees are reservoirs of energy you can tap into and channel for spells, and rituals. Remember to leave a biodegradable offering for the tree after your spellwork.
