Ohhh I love your coloring. What kind of effects do you use to get that "burnt" (in the best possible way) look? :o
I use some crunchy texture overlays and then use gradient maps! I also edit it afterwards in Photoshop
For this one, I duplicated the same gradient maps, applying Lighten and Color since the original image was initially in grayscale.

You did this by hand or in digital??? I am trying to make like, a night sky for a sketch of mine but I am not getting it right. How do you do the stars? Like distant, looks like a shiny point in the sky, star.
Do you use white Paint?
I use digital! I use Krita as the art program for the line art and use the Chrome brush specifically. Afterwards, I use texture overlays and gradient maps for the effects! For the stars, I also draw them, but I use a brush for the smaller ones as well.
