Oc ramble, let's gooo

I've been trying to figure out the dynamic between two of my character pairings. To tell you the truth, Kit's one has been nagging me for a WHILE (like a couple of years), and with the arrival of my new rgg oc, Asahi, it's appeared again.

Lemme set the scene, and I want you to tell me if you think it's either JJBA or RGG.

Brown haired British man reluctantly works for a sassy boss, that's likely neurodivergent, and the two don't really get along. The boss hates them but is intrigued by their behaviour. They have swooped hair, a nerdyish English dub, and generally act weird or strange but it's all for their job.

Now. Do you think that was Kit and Rohan or Asahi and Soma? Spoiler alert; it was both.

I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT IT'S THE EXACT SAME SITUATION FOR BOTH OF THEM! AND HONESTLY I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DYNAMIC WOULD BE CALLED!!

I'll start off with Kit and Rohan, because there is a slight difference between the two dynamics.

It's not really an 'enemies to friends' thing, I'd hardly call them enemies. Rohan is aware of Kit's rich and influential upbringing, so he has a high level of intrigue and confusion when meeting Kit in Japan. Kit, running away from her past, doesn't talk to people and is using the job as a reason to leave the house. She's depressed and doesn't want to talk to him, plus he gets on her nerves. Rohan hates Kit's narcissism (Kit also hates Rohan's narcissism) and hates how standoff-ish she is. It's like the opposite of 'opposites attract' (ig that would be 'similarities repel'?)

There is a slight level of softness between the two, however. Kit does care about Rohan. She cares about all the Morioh gang. But she's too broken and stone-faced to admit it. Rohan struggled to admit he'd miss Reimi at the end of Part 4, acting cocky before confessing that he actually cares about her. So, it wouldn't be too far field for him to care about Kit and just not say he did. Especially after he used Heaven's Door on both Kit and Sharon (Kit's abusive mother).

So the two do care about each other, and slightly bond over their shared trauma of losing someone their cared about at a young age, yet they say they despise the other with every bone in their body and that is true.

Kit does hate Rohan. Rohan does hate Kit. They genuinely don't like the other due to their shared similarities of pushing people away, being seen as weird and a jerk, not having a strong bond with their family, and overall being narcissistic.

Yet somehow, the two grow fond of the other whilst still maintaining a general dislike and distrust for the other.

Interestingly, this doesn't shape into a romance. They just don't like the other, yet secretly care, and that's it. Kit never wants to engage in another relationship again, and Rohan doesn't seem to care about being in a relationship.

Asahi and Soma, on the other hand, they share a general distaste for the other.

They hate each other with every bone in their body, yet have the same level of slight interest for the other.

Asahi doesn't care that Soma took out his eye. Even in one of my writing WIPs, Asahi doesn't outright shout and scream about it, he infact just jokes about the situation.

(for slight context, he woke up in a pile of trash/rubbish after Soma took out his eye)

It was smooth and thin. Squishy, too. His finger accidentally poked in a hole. In it was hundreds, upon hundreds, of different stranger's grocery bags. He let his hand wrap around the handles of plastic bags as he quickly searched for one thing. Asahi pulled out two crushed plastic bottles. He continued to stare in the bottles's direction, as his eyesight adjusted to the hustling city life. Once most of the fog had cleared from his vision, he noticed that the bottles had a post it stuck to it. He snatched it. "Green tea for allergy and Pepsi for the twat." The message read. "No doubt about it." Asahi thought. "These are RK- This is RK's rubbish. And they piled me in it. ha ha." He slightly shifted his head to the road in front of him. His eyes followed a taxi that shortly parked next to where he was led. "God, if that's Som- huh?" A familiar face walked up to him. The man crouched and held Asahi's head in his hands. "What happened, Asahi-kun?" Yagami softly asked. "Heh, I had a bad meeting with my boss." Asahi tiredly joked. "Asahi..." "Look, I'm nearly gonna die here, Yagami-san. Give me a break." "What?" "My eye? The bloo-" Asahi coughed up more blood onto his chest. He looked up at Yagami with a small grin. Yagami's eyes darted, looking at Asahi's wounds and the smeared blood on his teeth. "Mind getting an ambulance?" Asahi muttered. "Right! Kaito-San!" Yagami called. "Get an ambulance!" "On it." Kaito replied.

btw, allergy is just a nickname for Soma (Asahi calls him Mr. Allergy for sm reason), and Asahi wrote the note, calling himself a twat.

BUT YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN? He may not defend what Soma did to him, but he isn't against it. In addition, the character isn't a masochist. He's the stark opposite. A sadist.

Asahi simply laughs off the situation, AND THANKED SOMA BTW

Soma just becomes confused and more interested in Asahi after the interaction (in a 'I want to study this man' kinda way). It also made him have a slight level of concern for Asahi.

But, even so, Soma hates Asahi and... Asahi kinda does? He may not hate him as much as Rohan hates Josuke, but... he doesn't like him? He's kinda not bothered.

Sure, if you asked Asahi his opinion on Soma, he'd probably just say, "I dunno, I'm just his secretary. Kinda overbearing, though. I hate it."

So far, I have them as 'parasocial friendship', and idk what else to classify them as

I have no idea what to call these guys's dynamics, mainly Kit and Rohan.
