"Sometimes I Wonder..." is a 16x16 hand-pressed lenticular piece that delves into the exploration of hidden words and emotions. This angelic portrait appears as a three-dimensional image when viewed head-on, but as you shift your perspective, text emerges from the background. The hidden text reflects my thoughts on the artistic journey I was navigating last year when this piece was created.
This piece is all about subtext becoming substance, where what’s beneath the surface is just as crucial as what’s seen at first glance. The color palette here is one of my favorites, and the depth it achieves is something I’m particularly proud of. In person, it feels like you’re gazing at someone through a window, adding another layer of intimacy and intrigue.

"Roller Disco" is an animated work I created a few years ago as an exploration of programming, controlled chaos, and the pursuit of aesthetic beauty through hyper-color renditions. This piece remains a foundational study in my artistic practice, as it encapsulates my ongoing fascination with this style of animation.
In this work, the hair, body, and background are each rendered using distinct color algorithms, creating a sense of controlled disorder. Although the color palette may initially appear chaotic, every choice is intentional, allowing the viewer to decode and appreciate the underlying structure of the imagery. My aim was to evoke the retro stylings of disco and the tactile qualities of hand-drawn animation.
Software and Hardware used: Cinema 4D (w/scripting), After Effects, Premiere, output to CRT through Tachyons+Vortex, TBC, Blackmagic 4K Camera Capture of CRT with diffuser for glow, back into After Effects, and then back into Premiere for final edit.
This style continues to be central to my work, and I look forward to creating more in this vein.

"Never Try Never Fail"
I created this piece last year during a period of reflection and introspection regarding my artistic practice. Those familiar with my work may recognize that navigating these emotional landscapes is not uncommon for me (as evidenced by the Devil card in my tarot deck). This piece marks a deliberate effort to address and subvert negative internal dialogues by trivializing and recontextualizing them, thereby diminishing their power. This approach has been a recurring theme in my recent work.
In "Never Try Never Fail," I also ventured into more maximalist aesthetics and explored the use of holographic color shifting, aiming to create a visually dynamic experience. This 16x16 lenticular handmade piece encapsulates many of these experimental ideas and is a standout piece from this period of my work. Anticipate more explorations in this thematic and stylistic direction in the future.

Exposed A.1
This custom fabricated lenticular piece measures 16x20" and is one of a kind. I began creating lenticular art to bring my digital art and animations into the physical world, aiming to make pieces that demand to be experienced in person. This is exactly that.
Capturing the essence of these pieces is incredibly challenging with my current setup. The elaborate process to make them suitable for online viewing still doesn't do them justice. They are best experienced in person.
I'm currently seeking gallery representation to share these unique works more widely. If you have recommendations, know someone, or have contacts in the art world, please send them my way!
