hey everyone! due to an influx of asks and potential conflicts, we’ve changed some stuff so be sure you read this one!!!! 

we’ve received an overwhelming amount of asks about the types of templates we are going to provide. while we are hella excited about your interest and what we have to offer, please note that we cannot produce templates in a matter of minutes. we put a lot of effort and consideration to the aesthetic of the template. these templates are available for your convenience. with that being said, here is a final list of what we are providing as of right now: shipper reply, three different thread templates (one being a simple rapid fire), and a wanted ad template. in the future, you are more than welcome to request further templates but keep in mind that we have to find time to construct one!

tumblr face reserves have now been reduced to three days instead of four. the reason why we have reduced it is due to the fact that we have a long list of reserves. what you see in the reserves tab on our page is not an updated version! we have transferred the master list since our last announcement. don’t freak out because three days technically counts as four (counting today as well). 

regular reserves are also shaved down to two days. again, this two day reserve limit counts as three! 

tumblr face reserves are also ending in a half hour! it ends at 1:00pm est we have to focus on finalizing everything for opening so if you want to change anything, please wait until we open!! thank you!

what will your rules be in terms of how many characters you can have, gender ratios etc?

technically it is unlimited character creations & no gender ratios BUT we will look at members on a case-by-case basis. if we think you’ve gone a little overboard & lost focus, we will ask you to archive some characters so you can give everyone an equal chance. otherwise if you can keep up with a handful of characters and be active then you are free to do whatever!

we are roughly a day away from opening day! YAAAAAAY!!!! we hope you are all as excited as we are to get this party started! 

here are some general reminders / what to expect on opening day:

reserves are still open! you have until an hour before opening to submit/edit/retract your reserves!

tumblr reserves last 4 days whereas normal reserve last 3 so this gives you plenty of time to write your apps! 

after you posted your app, there will be a survey to fill out so please take a minute to go through it! this will help us solidify our decisions when we sort your character after reading the app. 

there is an faq thread posted under the essentials tab of the site; this should help you with certain questions you may have about the area. 

templates and other sorts will be posted in the help desk. these pre-made templates are optional. they are there for you to use if you don’t want to go digging for an ideal template before posting!

so this is going to be a little cray cause that’s what this bitch is.  gavin works as a trauma surgeon at the hospital, and he’s good at what he does because he pushes the limits and pummels his way through and his saving grace has always been that he has always been under a boss that has had a bleeding heart for him as a father figure because gavin needs a strong one.  charles darwin is the worst – for reals, guys.  but there is a new bitch in town, and she is the new ruler of the school and she does not feel the same sympathy towards gavin as those who have ruled before her.  she can smell the pot.  she can see the alcohol in his blood shot eyes.  and it’s not that he has shotty craftsmanship, but one day it is bound to come, and a hospital cannot afford mistakes.  she wants gavin out?  but she doesn’t want to just fire him and make him look bad.   maybe there’s a quality that she likes.  or people like.   or maybe she wants people to like her, and she doesn’t want to look like the big, bad bitch.  so she put gavin on a rehab plan.  if you don’t ship up, you ship out.  the thing with gavin is he’s not very good with rehab, it’s voluntary, and he’d probably pay someone to sign his name and pee in a cup for him…. she has this STRANGE sexual attraction towards gavin that wants to dominate him.  she wants to show that little shit who is in charge.  she wants to scare him.  and gavin is a talker.  gavin is a shit  gavin talks women into sleeping with him through lie after lie.  so it would be an incredibly beautifully horrible dynamic where she terribly traps him. and sexual harassment is involved and gavin thinks he has the upper hand like this is a way out.  but she is the woman in power, and a WOMAN.  who is going to believe the kid who smokes pot and drinks all the time?  please join me in shits giggles and fun.  i would love you entirely.   she would be the chief of surgery.  i don’t have a play by.  if you are interested send me a message. we can talk on aim!

i was just curious but why are communication templates not provided?

based on previous experience, we have found that all members have different preferences and it is much easier to have members find their own templates. there are so many beautifully coded ones on various roleplay resource sites for you to choose from! we would be happy to link you to some resource pages if you have any difficulty finding templates. thank you for your question!

request for sinclair and lindsay van laren! (male, 28ish, open face)

i’m sorry this isn’t prettier BUT i just wanted to slap it up for anyone who’s interested.

owen (as we’ll call him now) has been good friends with lindsay van laren since they were kids. he’s got a good seven or so years on her younger sister, sinclair, but that’s never stopped sinclair from having a huge crush on owen. when she was a kid, it was totally innocent - but by the time sinclair was seventeen, she still wasn’t over it, so being the entitled little thing she is, she made a move. owen, to his credit, shot her down for the dangerous minor she was.

for the next few years, sinclair bided her time and “moved on” with other guys, but she never actually moved on. it’s not that she was super creepily obsessed with him the entire time - she just never really got over the crush, or the fact that for once, she didn’t get what she wanted. owen essentially became sinclair’s personal great white whale.

fast-forward a few years and for some reason or another, they’re actually spending time together. they pop up at the same bars, he picks her up from parties, they hang out behind lindsay’s back. and sinclair’s crush is back in action full-time, but the difference is that this time, in spite of himself, owen is into it.

which is where it gets screwy. because sinclair alternately pushes owen away (tries to make him jealous, practically throws fits when she sees him with other girls, etc) and reels him back with her charm and smile as soon as he swears he’s had enough. there’s also the fact that lindsay is 500% NOT into this relationship (or whatever it may be) at all. she and owen are just friends, no unrequited love there, but she knows her sister is bad news. and owen knows this whole situation is trouble but he can’t deny the fact that he does like sinclair. so there’s a lot of sister drama and fighting, in which owen finds himself front and center. in the words of marty huggins, it’s a mess.

we can figure out where it goes from there?? whether they stay together (or even make it official), decide it’s not worth it or stay stuck in this toxic little hellhole is up for debate. most things about him are pretty flexible, too. he should be around 28 and from a good family because the van larens are nyc royalty and would probably be palling around with the same. gen and i also imagine he’s pretty laid-back to be able to put up with lindsay and sinclair’s bullshit, too, lol. but name (owen was a total placeholder) job, personality, face, etc - all up to you. (i can make face suggestions! uhhh zane holtz, dane dehaan, chace crawford, theo james, richard madden etc i’m really not picky i promise) PLS TAKE HIM THOUGH, you will get drama and stupidity and comedy and probs some angst/cuteness thrown in there, too. all colors of the plotting rainbow, and gen and i will love you!!
