Absolutely destroyed everytime I have to see this scene. So many ideas of what the tragedy entails. A sacrifice? By Susie? Kris? A sacrifical lamb like Ralsei perhaps...

I believe Kris of their own will hugged Ralsei because they truly sympathized with his thoughts. With their implied troubled past, plus Tenna's comments of trying to get them to laugh again, I believe they also struggle with showing their true emotions. They repress, and that's why they hugged him. :') Toby stop giving my children so much trauma!!

various ant tenna and telemarketing propaganda

we love how everyone started to draw ant tenna from toby's concept art but we already did that because we never miss an opportunity for BUGGGGGGGG 🐜🐜🐜

ANYWAY:

the first two of these arts was drawn on a spamtenna magma and we'd like to apologize for accidentally taking over the huge space in the middle. we didn't mean to draw that big and couldn't fuse our layers together (to make it smaller) because there was a bunch of dumb layer modes that would have been taken away. it kept fusing wrong.

we can't wait for our ant tenna static animation lolololol

maybe we'll animate at a normal frame rate this time

very long animation that started as a joke (low quality) for our spamtenna//telemarketing fanfic and then became 4 minutes long. we've never made anything that long before but HA it

happened.

Wow, That Sure Was Some Dangerous Mountain Dew, Wasn't It, Folkses?

Dumb questions you may have:

What the fuck is happening?: Jaypeg (Blue Addison) is projecting Spamton's memories on to Tenna. This is only one of those projections. But we thought it would be interesting to animate. It was supposed to be like less than a minute long but it quickly evolved. It was a specific scene in a fanfic we are writing that will never see the light of day.

Why is there no sound?: Because Chazi is an idiot that animates at 5 fps and, while possible to add sound, its harder at a choppier frame rate to sync right (especially with the lip sync parts). IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS WAY WE SWEAR LOL

Why is there lip sync in some parts, but not others?: Intentional. In the vision//dream//whatever you want to call it(????) there is lip sync, and in the present there is words on screen. Think of it kinda like a video game that only has voice acting in cutscenes. ((do not mention BUT CHAZI IT HAS NO SOUND))

Why?: WE DONT KNOW HAEHAEAEAHAHA

So I wanted to play in the Undertale Tenna + Spamton AU pool a little bit ;-; I know most folks make em' monsters, so they can interact with all the UT crew, which is cool! But I just had this scene playing out in my head and they're still darkners here. Just. Underground. In a trash darkworld.

Trash, but happy.

I know my designs aren't all that original, a lot of good designs already out there, I was kinda just figuring it out as I was drawing the comic. If I was to take another crack at it I'd change it up a bit I think, but I just had a need to draw and here we are.

(This is not just about Spamtenna it is also about Tenna's love for his families and the way it was never returned to him AND the way he acts as a parallel to Kris)
