Her dress in the bar scene was so charming, I couldn’t help myself. I had to draw her. I enjoyed the attention Ragatha got in episode 5. Although I’m a liiiittle scared for her in the future, the snippets we got were very enjoyable!

I will admit, I was a bit unsure of her in episode 4. Some of the things she said while under the influence of stupid sauce did make me wonder if her facade was possibly more malicious than it was an attempt to be kind. However, the slight peak into her real life proved me wrong. Which, I’m very glad it did.

It’s very easy to assume that the facade she’s built was one used around her mother, and the one that assisted the most in preventing conflicts. It could also have been one that was developed during her time at the circus, but her past gives an explanation for her behavior that I understand better and I’m not MatPat.

It was somewhat upsetting to see Pomni more interested with her interactions with Jax. Ragatha put a lot of effort into being a good person, into being liked, and a shallow rabbit (a periwinkle one, at that) ended up with a companion at the end of the day.

Of course Ragatha isn’t being entirely genuine, and I wouldn’t blame anyone for being annoyed by the constant optimism. But as the viewer, it’s hard not to pity her.

Anyway, episode 5 was great, I hope Ragatha finds herself or something like that and she doesn’t end up coo-coo bananas.
