What are honest thoughts on people who watches too much true crime stories on YouTube?

I wanna first say that I don't think watching true crime is inherently bad. It is very interesting and you can learn a lot from them. However, like you mentioned, the people who watch too much and obsess over it to the point of disrespect towards the victims and their families are not my favorite kinds of people. I don't hate them or anything, but the way they tend to talk about the newest case they heard about and how they think they've "solved" it (usually by making a villain out of one of the victim's family members and usually without substantial evidence) is just awful and uncomfortable
