PARADE IMPRESSIONS!!! (I am the world's most terrible videographer so not many clips apologies)

one of the best days of my life tbh 10/10 would do it again

guys it was PACKED. absolutely insane. biggest crowd I've ever seen in south florida since I moved here.

having it next to the ocean was such a good move and definitely helped ward off heatstroke for me personally--I got dizzy and nauseous bc of a dehydration/alcohol/heat triple combo but I just went and sat in the water and I was all good! (fully soaked tho--was still wet when I got home and NOT in a fun way)

hiked from Brightline to A1A and back again...30k steps today my feet will NOT let me forget it they r screaming

started the day in a shirt and sneakers ended it in a sports bra and flip flops...the sofla experience!!

Now for the fun stuff/player and Cup related things

I followed the buses along the entire parade route it was super fun!!! Didn't get to actually talk to/interact with anyone but got really close to a lot of them.

Jonesy and Erod and iirc maaaybe Swaggy got out of the buses right at the start and went along the barrier fistbumping people! (I was standing on the walls at the back so wasn't rlly able to join in.)

There was an 'eight more years' chant going and Benny was doing the waving hands conducting thingy to keep it going and at one point pointed to Ekky and the chant switched to Ekky

Ekky rlly does give worlds saddest dog energy even IRL and from a distance.

When I saw that fuckass pink unicorn I swear I CHOKED.

Bobby chants! Bobby chants everywhere.

WENT INTO THE OCEAN WITH MATTHEW AND BOBBY. So a bunch of ppl started running in front of me to the sea as I was following the buses and I followed them and...lo and behold Matthew! and Bobby! and maybe Kuli I couldn't see the third person super well! I got super close too like five feet from them close.

Matthew did not take the actual Cup into the ocean. He did however take those little replicas. He's learning!!!

Unfortunately the guys do look super ordinary to me and if they weren't on a bus and/or in their gear I would not be able to pick them out of the crowd. Rlly building castles out of nothing for RPFing here personally (my bisexuality is more theoretical than actual, but I cannot call myself a lesbian bc I do find fictional dudes hot sometimes lol).

The WAGs on the other hand...Reino's wife and Matthew's fiancee especially were GORGEOUS.

Matthew gives EXTREME fratboy energy but the dorky fratboy kind...the kind with zero chill...Benny on the other hand ALSO gives fratboy vibes but extremely cool extremely chill fratboy.

THE BELT IS WORSE IN REAL LIFE. why did anyone allow this man out in public like this

Pro athletes rlly are made different bc after the amount of drinking and smoking and probably other stuff I saw on the parade alone I personally would be in the ER. And that's not even accounting for the FOUR DAYS AND NIGHTS of drinking and drugs beforehand. HOW.

I repeat matthewsasha couples photo! They took a photo by themselves with the Cup (and Ekky was RIGHT THERE hanging around kinda...so not just Captain and alternate but specifically matthewsasha!!!) and then took a pic with the people on the team who were on the buss and I am DYING to see both of those pics.

Big Walt came down and I yelled his name/nickname and the person next to me gave me such a strange look lmao...I think he thought I was insulting him.

Did not catch the whole ceremony bc of aforesaid heat exhaustion which happened during Matthew's speech, but it was AMAZING. The crowd was great, and there was soooo much chanting!!

The families were SO into it and it was great. They were so much fun, working the crowd, even and especially the kids. Marchy's son had the unprompted mic moment I posted abt seperately!

PoMo kitty shirt got a GREAT reception I hope his daughter is proud <3.

Mr Bobby is sooo shy he had to be coaxed and chanted into lifting the Cup!

Marchy's mother lead a round of 'thank you Boston' chants lmaooo

Ppl did not recognize Kuli and I was sad about it :(. He was basically by himself (and his enormous family) in one of the buses on the way back and Bobby was in the bus ahead of him nd ppl were flocking to the Bobby bus :(.

Edit: PoMo wore a Benny's Buddies hat! I thought it was super cute :)

Edit 2: also I didn't get a good pic of this and can't find one online but Matthew used an empty beer bucket to cosplay as the Cup...this man...

Might add on as I remember stuff!
