January 1st, 2016. The date marked the start of a new era for the Windy City, a year that signified personal and professional advancement for all. One individual, known as The Firework due to their explosive works, made an extra effort to start this year of with a bang. Quite literally. Scorned by the law, this particular individual decided to get their own version of justice. As thousands gathered to bring in the new year, The Firework and a small crew of anonymous individuals set off a series of fireworks in a bid to create the maximum amount of chaos. And it worked. What couldn’t be predicted, however was the fallout of such actions. With the death toll around eleven, and an injured count even higher, Chicago was well and truly struck. Amongst the fallen were several of the City’s own protectors. Off duty policemen, firemen, doctors and many more, lost their lives to a meaningless act of revenge. Now, a year or so later, the city is still struggling to move on from the tragedy.

Chicago, the city that’s second to none, needs YOU to step up and restore this city to it’s former glory.

This is a semi-plotless appless roleplay based in the world created by Dick Wolf. For the most part, it will be au as we will be allowing deceased characters and those who have left to be in play. OCs are accepted and also encouraged. Due to it’s cancellation, Justice has not been included in the list of canon characters. However, you’re more than welcome to apply for them if you so wish.
