Personality: despite being only a cub she's an energetic young one who has a fine nose for tracking and hunting and even now shows promise in potential for leadership how she manages the other cubs in their games; making sure everyone plays fair and is included, she doesn't shy away from other ideas either, welcoming them with open paws and finding ways to improve them if they can.

Biography: Born to the king and queen of her pride, this young lioness cub has mighty big paw steps to fill and she doesn't plan on letting those expectations down. She was a strong lion and, even this young, she knows her role in their world. She is to stay in her pride and become it's queen one day, ruling the lands and ensuring the continuation of the circle of life. It's her purpose, her destiny as her parents called it, and nothing would distract her from it. Her parents even believe her strange eye, both of them having red or brown eyes but not a sign of green in their family, is a sign from the ancestors that she is to do great things and may even be granted glimpses into the future again, like before the great darkness that plagued her land during its previous rule.

Personality: Harlequin was bright and curious when she was younger, sometimes she can still be curious or soft, but she was mostly on-edge, angry, ever worried, always looking at something nobody could ever seem to find.

Bio: Harlequin was born in a small town along a river bed, mostly rabbits as far as the eye could see but none quite like her. She was the first, and so far the only, harlequin rabbit seen in that small town for generations. She was raised by dwarf rabbits but everyone spoiled her rotten as if she were their own. When she turned 16 though it all came crashing down for her.

"You have a suitor!" Her adopted mom had cheered so happily while she stared in wide-eyed horror. A suitor had been found? She knew from the time she was 13 she'd eventually have a suitor but she never thought so soon. "Mark and Janice are sending their son James up to meet you! Try and hit off ok, you'll be well off with them." She didn't wanna go though, she liked her small home! She liked being with her family, being herself, being...free.

"I don't wanna marry him. I don't wanna marry anyone!" Harlequin refused to be handed off to someone she didn't even know to be wed, she didn't need a husband nor a wife! Why was the fate of her species resting in her paws? What about her parents who abandoned her?! Where was their responsibility for keeping the species alive?!?

"None of that. Besides it's not set in stone yet, you're both still young, plenty of time to find the right suitor... But harlequins are endangered dear. We don't know how many of you are left."

Hey guys, to break in the brand new Tumblr I figured I'd post a freebie Adopt. I tried to go for a vaguely mossy aesthetic but I still like it ^^ since I've been on a role today I also have made an optional personality and mini bio for this character ^^ (while I work on more adopts for this blog you can always check out my TH, DA, or FA (all should be linked or usernames provided in bio)

Personality: A very quiet and reserved unicorn, they give off a very wise aura but look barely of a full grown mare or stallion. They are kind but skittish disappearing as quickly and unseen as they had arrived.

Bio: This unicorn was born in an unknown land, their parents were a father basket carrying them in his gentle embrace while a mother river gently floated them onto a bed of moss as it streamed into a fork. Some earth ponies from a nearby village adopted them and raised them as their own. When they got older and showed magical promise, their new parents sent them off to study and practice to master their skill. They'd always meant to visit home but they kept finding so many amazing things! Berries, flowers, bushes, even insects they had never seen before! They wondered what other life could live beyond their native home so they wrote a letter to their parents; promising to write to them everyday and visit home again soon.
