Sir Christopher Lee led such an extraordinary life and for that I’m extraordinarily sad to see him go. He was the only member of the Lord of the Rings cast to have met Tolkien himself. He collaborated with several metal bands and recorded an album in which he sang. He fought in World War II and various other battles. He was given a knighthood for his dedication to charity. And above all, he was a talented, accomplished actor. Rest in peace, Sir Christopher Lee. You’ll be sorely missed.
