Amla is Phyllanthus emblica, also known as Emblica officinalis, emblic, emblic myrobalan or myrobalan, a species of Indian gooseberry in the Phyllanthaceae family, a tree full of benefits for skin, hair and more.
It is a native tree of India that grows in tropical and subtropical areas of Southeast Asia and produces a small spherical fruit with translucent peel of yellow-green colors.
