Understanding your Soul’s Ascension through your Rising Sign

Your Ascendant, also known as your rising sign, is the constellation that was ascending on the eastern horizon at the time that you were born.  The constellation on the eastern horizon changes about every two hours as the Earth rotates making your rising sign the most specific to who you are at the core of your being.  Even more than both your sun and moon signs which transition much slower, at approximately 30 and 2 1/2days respectively.  For this reason, I believe your rising sign represents the unconscious path of the ascension of your soul across your entire lifetime. Asteroid Lust - 4386

As you would think, the asteroid Lust relates to what arouses us. It isn’t related to love or emotion but rather feverish, raw sexuality. This asteroid can show us more about what we find to be attractive, what we lust over and where it impacts our life.

Lust in Aries/1st House: Attracted to confidence/cockiness, turned on by adrenaline rushes, breaking the rules. When in the 1st House may be seen as very sexual themselves.

Lust in Taurus/2nd House: Attracted to the voice, deep tones and sensual activities, i.e - massages, erotic food. In the 2nd House, they may use their sexuality as a means for finance (can be an indicator of sex work).

Lust in Gemini/3rd House: Attracted to dirty talk, witty comments/jokes. In the 3rd House may have a very suggestive way of talking, good at flirting and tends to make a lot of dirty jokes.

Indicators of Soulmates in the Natal Chart

So i’ve been doing some thinking about indicators of soulmates and what kinds of soulmates are in our natal charts, and i might do a bigger post on this, but what do you guys think about this?

so firstly, obviously, there’s many indicators and things to look at in a mans and womans chart when it comes to what they’re attracted to, the kind of person they are in a relationship, who they attract, etc. But in terms of indicators for the perfect mate, and what kind of person is best for the particular person, even the kind of person who would break their hearts/isn’t good for them, I thought about this.

So for a woman, her Natal Mars, the masculine energy, usually indicates the kind of man she is attracted to. But while she may be attracted to this kind of man, that doesn’t necessarily mean that is the right kind of man for her. When I think of Mars, I think of the bad boy. The heartbreaker. It’s a malefic so it’s strong energy that could do some damage and since it plays a majo part in terms of attraction/relationships, I would say that a womans Mars and where it is placed in her chart (sign/house/aspects) could indicate the kind of person who will break her heart. Who may not be so good for her in terms of relationships and who is going to bring her that love and who will provide for her. Since Venus represents the feminine energy in a womans chart, this could show her how she acts in a relationship and doesn’t always indicate the actual type of person that is good for her. So, what’s another masculine energy that represents a masculine energy, but in a different way than Mars? My mind went to Jupiter. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, good fortune, wealth. This could indicate “the good boy” in a womans Natal chart. Where Jupiter is placed in her chart could indicate who will provide for her, who wil bring her that optimism and growth. Expansion.

Now for a Man, planets that represent the female energy could do the indicators of his perfect mate and the one who will do damage, who will break his heart. Since a womans Mars can indicate who she may find attractive, a mans Venus shows his ideal mate, who will be that provider of love and comfort. Where it is placed in his chart could show the type of woman that he would do well with. Since Mars is the masculine energy in his chart, and Venus shows the ideal woman for him, I was thinking that Neptune, and where it is placed in his chart could show where a woman brings him heartbreak. Since it also a malefic it could definitely indicate how a woman brings that strong, not so good energy into his life. It brings illusion, deceit. Things aren’t what they seem with her, there’s no real stability there. Just fogginess. It’s the kind of woman who brings him no real gain in relationships, the kind he should stay away from.

So yeah, I know Jupiter and Neptune aren’t usually planets that one may look at regarding love and relationships but I actually think it could provide more indications than we think. I personally look at Jupiter at one of the most beneficial planets to look at within synastry and what not and now that I think of it, Neptune could do the same thing for a man as Mars does for a woman, just with two opposite energies. One in a more masculine way and the other in a more feminine sense. I know Neptune and Mars are malefics and such, and even though they are, they also can be very beautiful planets but when it comes to indicators of soulmates and the types of people a woman or man should stay away from, I do think the malefic energy is stronger with a situation like that. Especially with synastry. After all Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and does inspire us to open our hearts to Divine Love, but maybe not always getting that back.
