Just a precision about requesting for Felix:
I have "two versions" of Felix that cohabit in my head.
The wild one, that I see more as Daniel Cudmore:
Tumblr media
A wild Felix, who, as Daniel says, take great pleasure in ripping people apart, because that's his superpower! That's now my "default" Felix, that is portrayed in Black Swan. Man would kill anyone who dares to disrespect his darling, and they adore it (scary dog privilege!) i use him for more "canon" stories.
The other Felix that cohabit, is the one with Matteo Martari as a fancast.
Tumblr media
A... Softer, less sadistic Felix. More elegant, less brutal but as deadly. Used if I see the vampire world working like @volterran-wine 's amazing work. Usually this Felix involves a best friend Demetri somewhere close too. A perfect example would be someone who'll get it, or Eternally yours.
I think of them as metalhead Felix and goth Felix.
When request does not precise which one, I go with the most fitting, but if you want a specific version of Felix, just precise it in the request!

🏛 and 🌳 for Felix please!
(🏛 Was answered a little bit earlier!)
𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 — 🌳 Do they have a unique voice/accent? what does it sound like? Felix has quite a deep and smooth voice that demands a lot of respect when he uses it a certain way. It can also be quite warm and teasing when he is in a good mood. Seeing as though he is Roman and has stuck around in Italy the last thousands of years, he has quite the pronounced accent when he talks; a lot of strong R's.
This is what my Fancast of Felix; Matteo Martari sounds like. It is pretty damn close to what I hear in my head when I write for Felix.

🎻🥂🍂⭐ for Felix please
𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 — 🎻 What is their favourite musical piece to waltz to at a Volturi Ball?
I have spoken about how Felix is actually quite fond of dancing before, but his height makes it a little more difficult to do so comfortably. But if a partner appears and is interested in dancing with him, he will jump on that opportunity. His favourite waltz is "The Blue Danube" by Johan Strauss II, probably one of the most well known waltz's in the world, but Felix won't deny he enjoys a classic.
𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 —🥂 What is their favourite occasion to celebrate with the coven?
While it is a stressful time, he is quite fond of how the coven celebrates Christmas nowadays. Though he sometimes misses the festive celebration of Saturnalia he cannot deny he enjoys the more cozy atmosphere that befalls the Palazzo in December. Also, their annual Christmas party never tends to be a boring occasion; so he still gets to feel some of that merriment he remembers from his human days.
𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 — 🍂 What is their favourite season? and why?
His favourite season is Autumn, lovingly watching as the world around him changes into a parade of color. While some liken Autumn as the beginning of an end, he likes to look at it as a fresh start instead. Felix's favourite colors are are also warm hues; like russet, ochre and sienna.
𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 — ⭐ What is their greatest desire and how far are they willing to go to obtain it?
Felix is an exceptionally loyal and honorable man, all things considered. He will never forget the things Aro and Caius did for him when he was freed from his gladiatorial duties. No words were minced, the both of them refreshingly honest about why they wanted him and what kinds of expectations they had. While he was skeptical in the beginning, suspecting he had traded his former shackles in for a different pair; it was everything but that. Felix very much feels like he owes his life to his kings, and his greatest desire is to serve them until the day he is nothing but dust.

If I’m being honest, I just wanted an excuse to make a mood board for how I imagine Felix’s room to look. I think he’d be great admirer of art and literature. However, unlike his kings and best friend, he does so quietly. He’s amazed at what others can create. He however, is content with just admiring.
I think there’s a part of him that misses that Renaissance. During the time, the Volturi operated as something of a very private noble family. It allowed him to indulge in all the culture that wasn’t accessible to him in human life. They were some of the Volturi’s best years and some of his best years with his best friend.
I imagine if he had a mate, he’d be much more fond of telling them stories from the Renaissance than from his human life as gladiator — the former are much more light-hearted.
I also see him as much more of a classy homebody in his ever elusive free time.

Though I haven’t gone into very explicit detail, I do have some info about how I see Felix’s human life and his experience in the Renaissance here (in context with some stuff about beauty standards and vampires).
The fan cast is Matteo Martari, one that I am borrowing from the elegant @volterran-wine

I love how we all have very different head canons on exactly how Felix would treat his mate.
Would he be afraid of hurting them or would he give them the world?
Whether he’d be eager to turn them or he wants them to stay human as long as possible.
Does he want a wedding or does he not care for the convention of it all?
Is he maybe a bit insecure or worried about the size difference between him and his mate or does he absolutely adore it?
And of course we all have very different ideas of just how kinky this man is. Is he super vanilla and all about the love and romance of it all or is he much more hardcore?
But we all agree on one thing: he is THE wife guy.

Might write a HC about it but I just want it to be clear that the entire palazzo knows that Felix is a hopeless romantic who daydreams about finding his mate and about his happily ever after — they’re all hoping it happens for him. The people who know him think that if anyone deserves to be happy forever, it’s Felix.
He regularly discusses the topic with Heidi (who tends to be very encouraging), Demetri (who has very different views on the prospect of mateship), and, surprisingly, Caius (who tends to be very practical about the matter).
He secretly fears that he may never have a mate after all, he’s well over two millennia old. He does hold onto hope though, it took Chelsea over 2,000 years to find her mate.
However, should this open secret ever leave the palazzo, Felix might just petrify on the spot.
