this really is exactly how people talk to you upon revealing you're a trans person it's wild -please please please remember we have lives too, maybe we don't want to think about surgeries we'll in a lot of cases never possibly be able to afford -maybe we don't magically have all the same interests as your other trans "friend", maybe we don't want to answer all your questions on lgbt stuff you could easily google. Maybe we're not brave, maybe we're damaged and barely hanging on.

randomly remembering the time in 2012 when everyone kept saying the world was going to end at midday that day and like, i didnt really believe it, but i didnt want to be a complete fool if i was wrong, so i excused myself from class to go sit the field and perfectly timed the beat drop to a skrillex song just in case something happened. and im just. retroactively amused by the idea of ushering in the appocalypse with skrillex. most 2012 thing you could possibly do.
