About the current situation regarding JM

I will answer multiple anons here collectively regarding the current situation about JM and the hatred, harassment and death threats he has been receiving.

What you can do to help is stay alert. If you come across hate towards JM, follow these instructions:

📍 Don’t answer fire with fire. 📍 Save receipts; take a screenshot that shows who is saying and what. 📍 Report the offensive tweet to twitter. 📍 If there is systematic behavior to be detected, report the account as well. 📍 Block the user and DO NOT engage with them. Don’t quote or tag them, but instead share information through screenshots. 📍 Let others know about the offense; send the screenshot to @reportforjimin so they can spread awareness and more people can report the harassment. 📍 Send the screenshots to amyamy9909@naver.com and/or to me via DM on tumblr/twtr. They are working for Korean side and I am collecting stuff for international actions.

And most importantly:

📌 Keep posting positive stuff about JM on twt and tumblr. Let’s keep the tags and search bar clean of hatred. Don’t let the propaganda against him win.

No matter how strong one is, this level and amount of malice will get to you. I can only hope that JM has not seen majority of this mess and that he and the boys will take all measures needed to ensure that his mental health is protected. His health is the most important thing.

Ships, popularity, records, sales, literally everything else is irrelevant if the boys themselves don’t feel safe, content & appreciated. I personally would value their health over their career any day. By having internal conflicts like this Army is dividing into petty cliques and this sort of behavior will hurt the group in the long run as well. Sense of unity is what has kept this fandom together so far, and I hope we don’t have to see it wither away any more than what has already happened.

So people, please consider your actions, I’m begging you. No one deserves this.

By defending JM you’re not being a “solo stan”, you’re being an Army who protects all of the members and who acknowledges how unfair this systematic and long-running hatred towards JM is.
