Cheryl shrugged and hummed as she looked around “Let’s find something exciting. I’ve been cooped up in a murder house and a murder town for too long. You must know something’

She looked at him with sad eyes, she could remember how she felt on those days following Jason’s death murder. She reached out and placed her hand against his arm. He was practically a stranger, but she trusted him. Partly because he had been paid to look after her, but mostly because she could sense the kind of person he was.  “I - I’m sorry you went through that. But how did you know about JJ?” she had been wrapped up in Thorne Hill, so she didn’t really know the affect of things that happened in Riverdale the past year. 

❝ I know the whole situation with Jason. We had a similar thing in Hawkins. Our star kid. Some red-headed heart throb named Reyes Washington. He disappeared. Two months later, his girlfriend and I found him in the woods, he was long dead. ❞

He almost shudders at the memory. God, he’d need a drink soon, but he could hold off for now, at least. Couldn’t risk getting tipsy while he was technically on duty.

❝ People thought I had something to do with his disappearance and murder, ‘cause I was paid to keep him away from rich people’s daughters. He was a sweet kid, real nice to everyone. Had all his ducks in a line. It’s real sad he went out the way he did. ❞

‘Well - aren’t you a little ball of emo angst.” she straightened up a little, holding her head up “It’s true - the Blossoms do hold some resemblance to the Baudelaire family, except for the obvious fashion and culture choices. Hopefully, my current run in with my own count Olaf will be very different” She let out a breath, looking at Jughead again with a fake smile

Her wordssounded like a nice poem , one that he could include  somewhere in the pages of his book. But heknew the words were meant to mock him and he couldn’t really tolerate that. “Is that so ? If I am a tragedy , you are a series of misfortunate  events,Cheryl. That is worse. “

She let out a hum and rolled her eyes “If you think I would humor that with a yes, you’re even more stupid than I first thought, Hellboy.”  She folded her arms over her chest and chewed her lip a little, eyeing the male for a while

Jackson couldn’t help but laugh at the statement. “That’s real cute because I never lose either, darling.”

Cheryl stared him down for a few more moments, keeping her regular holier-than-thou face on. Her eyes narrowed a little  “Well, it’s time we change that, don’t you think?” she cocked her head to one side

The moment when a milkshake warms up and no longer seems to be able to hold itself together, when it becomes an unappealing sloppy mess of pink. That’s kind of how Cheryl felt right now. She stirred idly, not paying much attention to the world around her. However, hearing the grated and irritating voice of Jughead Jones, Cheryl looked up with deadpan eyes. She sighed and sat back, indicating for the Serpent to sit if he so wished to. “Believe it or not, John Green, I don’t actually have enough energy to hate anyone that isn’t directly related to me.” she trailed her perfectly manicured finger over the condensation on the glass infront of her. “Humor me, aside from the teasing, and the name calling, why do you think I hate you? Did you destroy everything I hold dear?”
