Why you should stan CLC.

CLC (Crystal Clear) are girl group with seven members under cube entertainment. They debuted in 2015 with their debut title track 'Pepe.' They originally debuted with five members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn and Yeeun. The two members, Elkie and Eunbin were added in 2016.

1. Discography:

CLC have one of the best and most versatile discographies in K-pop. From bossa nova to R&B and ballad, they have plethora of songs of different genres. High quality songs which are instruementally and lyrically different from each other. The songs that I would reccomand are like that, show, distance, liar, breakdown.

2. Concept:

CLC are a very versatile group like red velvet, both genre and concept wise. They have done numerous different concepts from their debut up till now e.g chic/elegent (No), cute (High heels), colourpop (like), girl crush (hobgoblin), summer (summer kiss), sexy chic (black dress) and teen crush (I like it). If you prefer a variety of concepts then this group is for you!

3. All-Rounded:

CLC have an amazing vocal, rap and dance line, one of the best of the third generation. The vocal line is diverse with having powerful and strong vocals, the rap line always deliver iconic and amazing raps with great flow and the dance line are always sharp, consistent and powerful with their moves. 4. The Girls

The biggest reason why I stan them. They are extremely compassionate and humble and are always to grateful to us (chesires). They always show their love and gratitude to us and also worry about us like the time when they were glad that their were chairs for chesires to sit at their comeback stage so that they don't get tired. Their love for us always me feel 10x times better and happy. They also have an amazing and genuine group chemistry and they're always happy with each other as their friendship bond is very strong. Moreover, they have a great sense of humour and every member cracks me up. All of them are 100% crackheads and very energetic. They always work their best not to dissapoint us and are always looking forward in meeting us. Before their debut 5 of the members (The two were added later) did street band performances to raise money for disabled children and later in 2018 they did a charity concert for KIDDA which is a diabetes association. They have showed love in working with charity and it warms my heart. The members have a very strong bond with each other; Yeeun said that Seunghee wrote a letter to her predebut and whenever she has a hard time she reads that letter. Furthermore, they want to be inspirations as Eunbin said she wants to be a celebrity to whom female students look up to and Yeeun wants to express the beauty of women through music. Being a Cheshire is the best thing that ever happened to me and it made my life so much better. They always make me feel happy and whenever I feel down I always watch them. It saddens me so much to see how much they are underrated. I hope they gain more success and popularity in the future and I'll try my best to support them. Chesires and CLC are a family and I am so proud to be the part of this family. They are and will always be my role models.

Chungha is coming with her second pre-realese and seulrene monster debut is soon. CLC might be coming with their first full album (they should). How the hell am I suppose to survive July? I should be digging my grave right now.

10. Like

This track is a burden to my ears and I literally cannot listen to this. I don't know what the producers were thinking but this song is obnoxious. CLC sweeties I am so sorry you guys did not deserve this song.

9. Hobgoblin

This title track was overhyped since it was girl crush. I don't dislike girl crush but musically and lyrically the song is messed up. Many fans loved this but I think it's okay.

8. Me

I love every part of Me except for its chorus. The chorus is the reason of why it's ranked so low. The strong vocals, rap and powerful choreography is amazing but noisy beat drop chorus ruined it.

7. Devil

Devil is a very catchy and fun song; fitting choreography, amazing chorus, strong verses and iconic rap. This track had it all but I prefer the others more.

6. Pepe

One of the best debut songs ever. Pepe is vocally very powerful and I love the harmonization. The message about consent is quite empowering and singing about this topic in their debut song was really bold.

5. No

THE FEMINIST ANTHEM. No is their most successful title track and it got them their first and second win that's why it has a special place in my heart. Instruementally and lyrically the song is bold and powerful, breaking the standards of women in society.

4. High heels

This song is so catchy and cheerful, always lifts my mood up. I really like the concept of the song and it's very pleasing to hear. High heels deserved better.

3. Black dress

Black dress is really sexy and chic (I mean the song is about seduction). I love the irony of the song that they're singing about wearing a black dress while actually wearing black suits. The bridge is so incredible and this song screams iconic in every single way. Whenever I listen to it, I want to crash my imaginary ex's car with my imaginary Mercedes while wearing a chic black dress and heels.

2. No oh oh

This is so darn underrated. The vocals on this track are so strong and powerful and the message about sexual harassment is empowering. This title track broke the stereotype that cute concept songs are meaningless as this song speaks against sexual harassment. Instruementally and lyrically the song is very powerful.

1. Where are you?

One of the most unique kpop title tracks out there. This ballad is everything. The femininity of the song makes me gay. The vocals on this song are so natural and beautiful. Everything else is so pulchritudinous. I always feel nostalgic and sorrowful while listening to it.

I wrote all the albums I have listened to on a paper and there were 63 kpop albums on the list. I was not expecting that.
