All of these below are written by my own words and expression. The resources will be linked in the end of this post for everyone that wants to read even more about Chariklo. There will be some greek websites linked as well so if you are not fluent in Greek, read the other ones.

Hey there babes, welcome to a new post about a random asteroid i read about and adored its meaning and story from the first glance. Im here to share with you my infos and knowledge i have for it, while also express my own interpretation and opinion of this asteroid in your own chart.

First of all, i want to tell everyone that Chariklo was actually the wife of Chiron.

This is honestly a couple all about healing and there are some differences between them that i will get to later on.

PLEASE I KNOW, IM AS SHOCKED AS YOU. I DIDNT KNOW CHIRON HAD A WIFE AND THAT THEY ALSO MADE SUCH GIFTED AND TALENTED KIDS.

From her story all i can say about this woman is that she is a literal angel. Such a giving, devoted and graceful soul. And her name literally means grace.

Chariklo comes from the greek name "Χαρικλώ". The name is splitted in Charis/Χάρις (meaning grace in greek) and Klo/ κλέος (meaning glory and in this case spinning/surrounding), thats how you realise this woman is surrounded and known for her grace and charisma.

Chariklo takes a lot of time to change signs thats why i will only put her influence in the houses. Most of us in our generation will have Chariklo in Virgo, but the ones born after 2004 and some from 2003, will have their Chariklo in Libra. But the sign doesnt have that much significance cause it takes up to 1.5 to 9 years for her to change signs.

A detail i would want most people to know in this post is that using crystals or any amulets with Chariklo's name are very healing. If you are in physical pain at a specific body part, i read online that Chariklo's crystals are very healing and will ease the pain. So if anyone considers to buy any crystals or amulets, i would say that people approve Chariklo's crystals usage but i cant say for sure since i dont have personal experience with the specific crystals nor have any crystals in general. But i wanted to put this out here for anyone interested. You can search about it even more

Lets get to Chariklo's story now.

• Chariklo's story in ancient mythology;

Chariklo is the daughter of Apollo. She was never specified as to what type of creature she was. Many refered to her as a shapeformer. But she was mostly known to be a nymph.

She was a woman with many amazing character traits. She was known for not making any big scandal, sin or wrongdoing. I think from what i read it was never discovered when she died, but its sure that was not immortal but rather a being that could live for centuries.

There are two myths surrounding her.

In one of them Chariklo was working under Athena and she had a son from a man named Everes. The kid was named Tiresias. One day, Goddess Athena made Tiresias go blind after the kid saw her naked. She gave him a curse to lose his eye sight cause I mean we all know what an important and private thing was to see a Goddess naked even if the kid did it accidentally. Chariklo begged Athena to give her son's eyesight back to him but the curse couldnt be undone, so in exchange instead of giving him, his eyesight back, she gave him the gift of prophecy and the kid became one of the best to prophets.

In her other myth, she was under Vesta's wings (the goddess of health, family and home). With Vesta, Chariklo learned the beauty of putting boundaries to others with kindness and respect. She learned to stand up for herself without stepping on others. In this myth, Chariklo got married to Chiron and she gave birth to four talented and very gifted kids. Chariklo along with her mother in law were also the nurses of little Achilles. If some of you know, Chiron was like a teacher to Achilles, he took care of him and so did Chariklo.

All of the kids Chariklo made wifh Chiron had a gift of foreseeing the future and all of them had prophecy skills. She was an amazing wife, an ideal one may I say. Chiron was a very lucky man. This woman was always a support to him.

A great mother, a great wife, a great helper, a great caretaker and an amazing soul. No one had sth bad to say about Chariklo. But the thing is that even if people had nothing to say about her and viewed her like the ideal wife, Chariklo was suffering. She witnessed the death of her own husband Chiron, one of her kids got punished due to a prophecy that disrespected an immortal being, and many many more. The woman held so much pain inside her but still, she never lost her grace nor did she ever desire revenge for the unfortunate events in her life. She decided to heal others through their pain, so they wouldnt feel the pain she is going through. She heals them through love, positivity and hope. She gives charisma and solutions. She was truly an amazing woman.

• Asteroid Chariklo 10199:

In general this asteroid's theme will show you how you fight back and heal in mistreatment with respect, love, positivity and gracefullness, without any outburst or anger taking over you, letting karma do its job for the mistreatmeant you have gone through but you, yourself, focuses on truly healing your soul from the wounds. There is hints of spirituality and foreseeing the future.

Many amazing writers, actors, filmmakers, producers, painters and generally people in the arts have very prominent energy and aspects to Chariklo.

The difference with Chiron and Chariklo is that Chiron shows a wounded healer that even though he tries to heal his trauma, he still has his wounds and as much as he tries, the fear of abandonment and the fear of lose haunt you for the longest of his life. While on the other hand, Chariklo shows the truthful euphoria of heal and even though its a newly discovered asteroid, its influence in each generation is very important.

We havent seen the full influence Chariklo has in the signs since it was discovered. It has been noticed since 2015/16-2020, where Chariklo was in Capricorn, that many people turnt to spirituality even more and a big reason for it was Chariklo's placement in capricorn, bringing lots of attention and reputation to the spiritual healing and the thrive for the unknown.. not saying that before 2016 there werent many people into spirituality but this period marked many newcomers. Right now, in 2021, Chariklo entered Aquarius and she will still mark this generations with lots of people coming in contact with their spiritual side

The asteroid was discovered in 1997 in the sign of Leo and its speculated that Chariklo stays in Pisces and Aries the longest for around 8-9 years. Chariklo is one of the biggest centaur asteroids in the solar system and she actually is rare since it has a ring around her

Last time Chariklo and Chiron was in conjunct was in 1949 (in three dates) and back in 1721 and 1742. It still hasnt been calculated when these two will be in conjunction again but ik very well that it will be a very revelutionary time for our planet once again when they get in conjunction. Lots of healing and progress.

So now lets get to how Chariklo works in the houses of astrology:

Chariklo in the 1st house:

Chariklo here shows that when things get hard for you, you should stop blaming yourself first. You are not the reason for being mistreated by others. Learn to embrace yourself, love who you are and stand up strongly on your feet when you are getting called out for nothing. Kill them with kindness as they say and thats what you should do. Stay original to who you always were, dont change just to belong in a group. Taking care of yourself, boosting your own ego at times and your amazing character traits will bring you so much inner peace and stability. Ik its hard sometimes BUT, encourage yourself to take a step back when you self-loath. You definetely come across as a very kind and pleasant person to others. Chariklo brings grace and a charmness around you, a sense of familiarity where others want to be close to you. When someone presses the wrong buttons, i can see you may get out of control. Dont waste your energy on people that build negative emotions in you or that anger you, focus that energy on your own self.

Chariklo in the 2nd house:

Chariklo here shows me a person that searches for emotional security, stability, a home and somewhere they could give in without limiting themselves. Learn to control your anger when your point is getting ignored or pushed to the side, ik you want to get your point across to others but remember that not everyone will have the same opinion as you nor that they will agree on everything you say. There is so much beneficial in your finances, you may have it much easier than others when it comes to gaining money. You have your way to draw people in but you may doubt your abilities oftenly when being opposed. Please dont do it, always remember what the majority believes in your opinions and supports you. Negative reactions are always expected. Your points always carry logic so dont doubt your own charisma.

Chariklo in the 3rd house:

You may be someone hard to tame. Opinions are strong but not oftenly expressed due to doubt of your communication skills and fear of not holding back. Believe me, your voice is always heard. Once you open up about your worries and concerns on matters, i think everyone will get shocked by your mentality. Dont limit your voice, you have the right to speak and you can do it. Your speech can bring love, positivity and hope. This placement shows me that the individual may oftenly feel comfortable to express themselves through the internet more than in real life. Use it to your advantage, you can be the change. Great multitasker.

Chariklo in the 4th house:

Family is a very sensitive topic for you, isnt it? One argument with a loved one and you feel like you dont know where you belong. Remember that home isnt place, but its actually a feeling. You will be an amazing parent if you decide to be a parent, too much love and care to give. And its actually the love and care you have felt you didnt receive. If you ever decide to speak on family matters to others, you dont understand the influence and strength that you will give others. There is a gift passed down through the family, a certain talent that you should develop or discover. You are meant for sth higher and i know that you still want to fix everything that went wrong in your life, but hear me out, sometimes you need to push things to the side for a bit cause not everything can be done at ones. You want peace but learn that it takes time to establish it.

Chariklo in the 5th house:

I have this placement and honestly, it explains a lot to me about the way i approach stuff. Humour is a coping mechanism, a way you try to make others around you feel comfortable even if you are at your lowest. There is always the doubt between giving your time to the activities that make you happy or devoting your time to the responsibilities you have to finish and the thing is, no matter how much time you spend to finish this responsibilities, it always feels like you havent done enough. Learn to give yourself air to breath. Stop criticizing every single of your life choices. You are allowed to spend time on things you enjoy and you should, cause you spread so much energy and peace to others when you set your inner peace first. Prone to be talented in a very specific hobby or an all rounder. Nonetheless, charisma and gift in the activities you engage.

Chariklo in the 6th house:

This placement holds honestly so much pend up emotions. Learn to speak up about what's bothering you in your workplace if you havent already. Health comes first so when you pressure yourself, after some time your own mind will want you to give up. Taking care of your self in matters of health and creating a routine where you spend time for your body and mental clarity is one of the biggest things you have to go after. A very generous soul. You see someone in need and you take it upon yourself that you help them. When you cant help, the wishes and hopes you want to send to the person are so strong, it honestly telepathically gives strength to the one in need. Also, you know you have a very pleasant energy in your workplace but watch out when you start expressing your opinions cause instead of sharing an opinion, you may turn it into critising the other person after a while.

Chariklo in the 7th house:

Ideal lover but they dont give themselves this title. Its like Chariklo visits a very familiar house here. If you read her story above, i mentioned how she was known for being the ideal wife. A person that supports their loved one no matter what, holding them strong in their places. But as i said at the start, you dont give yourself the credit you deserve. I can honestly say that you have had very beneficial relationships in your life, ones that always taught you sth about yourself (but they could have been toxic). You find strength from your lover and as a result may seek to be in a relationship oftenly. You do draw in people to you, you are definetely a very charming individual. Even enemies get intrigued by you and want to be close to you. Learn to set healthy rules in your relationships, sometimes you can be too giving and caring to people that dont deserve it so you end up hurting yourself cause of your own kindness.

Chariklo in the 8th house:

Chariklo is very tender in this house. Intimacy, deeper emotions and the rawest form of love is being unleashed. The feeling of giving was always so much more fulfilling than getting from others. You are prone to receive a lot more from others in terms of emotional connection and intimacy. Many unexpected opportunities due to your grace. Chariklo shows me a person that has it as their goal to give more than take, but there is a downfall to this. Not everyone deserves this treatment and not everyone will appreciate your tender side. I amnt saying you should change it, but rather learn who to actually show it to. Sex is sth you try to find fulfillment in and the pleasure in seeing the effects of your actions is some next level type of stuff. You have a very pleasant energy, an energy that makes people give in to you quickly. And thats how you can become addictive. You will be that type of person that others find themselves interested in you but never thought that they would get hooked all over you.

Chariklo in the 9th house:

The ability you have to share your way of thinking and mentality to others without forcing your opinions on them.. i find it admirable. When you speak, its like the whole world goes silent at the sound of your voice. You have such an adaptive mindset and you are so open to other people's intakes and opinions. You should learn to stand up for your beliefs more oftenly though. Ik you love to hear everyone's opinion but discrediting or stepping over your own belief cause someone explained you sth with a very logical justification shouldnt make you drop your own.. Just cause their opinion sounds logical doesnt mean yours isnt. Ik its probably the excitement of the moment making you drop everything cause you got intrigued by the thoughts of someone, BUT there is always a balance to everything and your beliefs are valid, just like you valid everyone's else. Dont forget that.

Chariklo in the 10th house:

I think you have one of the most well liked energies anyone could ever ask for. There is so much kindness both in your manners and your appearance, you inspire others with just a word you spell out. Chariklo takes the big step in building a strong name around your carrer. One thing you dont realise is how people see you as someone ideal in certain fields, they will always set you as an example to others and you still dont realise what an amazing person you are and what powerful qualities you hold. You have admirable patience. You will literally be that type of person where a whole war is happening around them and they will still continue eating their pasta in peace, like thats how calm you are. You can give so much love, healing and hope through the carrer you choose to follow. People feel familiar with you and most tend to like you right away so use it to your advantage for the general good. You have influence.

Chariklo in the 11th house:

One of the most caring and giving friend anyone could ever have the honor to be surrounded by. Ik that you went through so much from your friend groups and the people you felt were your loved ones but you still carry so much love and hope to give. This never made you change your need to spread love and affection to any new friend you make but you should really learn to control it so you will avoid getting hurt so oftenly. You have a deep need to be accepted by other people but that doesnt mean that everyone should feel your true love. Learn to protect yourself. You are a person prone to make very beneficial friendships that will learn you a lot as you get older. Not everyone deserves your positivity and love, keep your charisma and so pleasant aura for the people that earned your trust.

Chariklo in the 12th house:

Such a selfless individual istg. START PRIORITIZING YOURSELF. You are so incredibly gifted. Chariklo comes into the house of subconsciousness, meeting her children's gift of prophecy. You have a gift, a gift that is both a curse and a blessing. You are a person that doesnt prioritize yourself as you are in the search of helping others and bringing other's people mental stability before you do that for yourself. Learn to say no. You have the right to deny when you feel someone is taking advantage of your kind giving nature. Dont let them drain your energy. Good thing is that you feel when people are good and bad news but many times you avoid listening to your gut feeling in a hope of being false. Yeah.. almost all of the times, your gut feeling is right. Sadly some people really dont have that much good left in them, how much you search for the good in them. So learn to protect yourself. Dont make Chariklo fade away with the potential you have with your intuition.
