Scandal Ep S6x10 100th EPISODE!!! (gif courtesy of scandaledit and teammelliegrant)
Mellie’s reaction is how I feel about most of this episode. I’m not sure why. I suppose it depicts a more realistic version of what everyone’s lives would be if they had done the election honestly, but it was just too boringgggg. Like for everyone’s lives was just almost too regular.
Fitz and Olivia get married, which I guess is okay (Jake & Olvia > Fitz & Olivia btw) but of course they’re gonna have marital issues. I thought that it was gonna show that ultimately in any universe, they don’t belong together. But somehow they made it work - just regular. Wasn’t my favorite.
David and Abby got together and stayed together, Jake was barely anywhere to be found because he was never needed, Huck is still saved and just does I.T. for Liv, and Harrison apparently never existed and Marcus was there the whole time. Ok Shonda ...
The really only interesting or out-of-the-blue moment was that Mellie and Cyrus got together after Fitz divorced her. Cyrus never came out the closet for his husband which was sad because they’re relationship was so great. The only thing I did see was that Cyrus is still Cyrus in any alternate universe. And I think I’m ok with that. At he least he brought some drama.
I’m ready to go back to the way Scandal was meant to be which is messy, out of this world, smart, sexy, and what I want to watch on TV. If this happened, I would have changed the channel.
P.S. Lindsay (Quinn) almost giving Fitz a blowjob? Ew.

Meredith: You know they call us the Seattle Grace Five. Six of us that went up. And only five us came back. And now there are only three of us alive.
(Pause)
Meredith: My sister died out there.
Nathan: You - you have another sister?
Meredith: Mm hmmm. My kid sister Lexie. I loved her.

Whitley, how long have you been feeling this way? A month. Feel my brow, do I have a fever? Now, listen, there’s no such thing as being allergic to children. Okay, now, you been feeling this way for a month, right? Have you ever felt this way before? No.

Scandal Ep 6 x09 (gif courtesy of emilythornes)
This episode was really beautifully shot and I was completely enthralled with this episode. Not only because of the story line, but because there was not ONE but TWO special reports during the episode!
But I thought that the concept of Huck’s mind was so intriguing and everything was shot so beautifully. Especially the slow-mo walk of Olivia in the white suit (YAS!) and Huck on the floor drowning in the office. So clever.
What I also like was how much ABBY GOT WHAT WAS COMING TO HER. She tried it, she reaalllly tried it. And then had the nerve to go to the President about?! In the real world, it’s dope for your only friend to be the president, but not in the Scandal universe. She complete deserved and I frankly was estatic that Olivia checked Abby and mad her feel bad about her decisions! Olivia has been checking this girl's left and right and I don't hate it. I want to see where they go from here, especially now that Olivia and Fitz knows these people have messed with her father and Abby. P.S where has Mellie been chilling at?
