- Saks Fifth Avenue, 700 N Michigan Ave - Wanted to go there only because my name is Sophie. Between 2 shops I went there, I was not hungry and not thirsty and everything was so expensive #questcequejefouslà The cheapest was iced tea & I don't even like iced tea.. BUT I loved the place and the bar an who offered me so many Sophie's goodies ☺️

Really nice place, the food is great, and you almost feel like you're in Tuscany! Apparently, the patio during the summer is very pretty & romantic!

I am a HUGE fan of this place!!
First, it's a beautiful bar, very chic and intimate.
Secondly, the bar is located in River North, a perfect situation, so it's very easy to go there.
Last but not least, I strongly recommend the $14 cocktail "Dealer's choice" : you can chose a spirit, profile and type of glassware and the bartender creates the perfect drink for you. Mine was : Tequila-Fruity-Coupe I had three delicious and completely different cocktails!!

The place to go when you are drunk and you need a burrito time. And you know burrito time is very important.
The atmosphere of this place is so unreal, fun and atypical !!

Chicago French Market
- 131 North Clinton Street -
Little anecdote : I wanted to cook a famous french recipe called "Tartiflette" but I couldn't find the cheese Reblochon anywhere in Chicago. I was quite disappointed - I was sure I could find it at Whole Foods - but then a friend told me to go the Pastoral shop in the Chicago French Market.
I went there and I discovered a cute place - not really french actually besides this cheese shop. I couldn't find the exact cheese I wanted, I guess USA don't want to import our beloved Reblochon.
Anyway, I was able to succeed my Tartiflette with another cheese, thanks to the advices of the Pastoral shop.
The point of this post is to say that Chicago French Market is nice, not amazing at all, but if you have 20 minutes to waste, you can go there!
Je ris Margaux, je pense que cet article n'a absolument aucun intérêt!! Je peux l'effacer si tu me le demandes, je le ferai probablement moi même d'ici quelques heures/jours.
