A work in progress of my aforementioned remix of Treasure Town from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. My goal for this one was to capture the adventurous tone of the original song, with a bass and beat that slaps as a bonus. I’m absolutely in love with the “sax” bass instrument, and the sine wave drums I’ve talked about before have returned.
I play recorder and I love it and sometimes people just don't get it you know and they think it's nothing more than primary school stuff and it's sad. Theres so much fascinating information about the recorder (we have over 900 years' worth of the largest repertoire for any solo instrument and yet the only music that "real" musicians value is flight of the fucking bumblebee ugh) Thanks, rant over lol
I’m pro-professional recorder, especially after seeing a Vivaldi piece done by it. So definitely understand the rant. I do have issues with recorder as being a beginner instrument for primary school, for many reasons, but the biggest being how its ruined the instruments rep.
The woman in this orchestra is playing an instrument called *Theremin:*.... it is a.... *quantum instrument that is played only with the energy of the hands.* Only three countries in the world have music schools where one can learn to play the Theremin. Russia, Japan and Ireland. It's a beautiful sound! Theremin was invented by *Leon Theremin*, a Russian who in 1920 introduced him to Vladimir Ilich Ulíanov, aka Lenin, and was impressed by its sound. He sent 600 pieces and sent Leon to the world to make him known. It is an *instrument that forms a magnetic field and is played without being touched.* It almost sounds like the human voice.
So you gotta find a string thingy or a bang bang or a wind machine (sometimes you find these in your own BODY AND SCIENCE DOESN’T TELL YOU THIS OMG) and just like do a thing, make a Youtube, and become Lindsey Stirling.
