It’s hard for me to agree with the part of the fandom making Watari “sweet grandpa” who cooks and cleans.

I know that “One day with L” has portrayed him exactly so, but for me it seems as “realistic” as L not sleeping for days and still being able to solve the hardest cases possible.

I think Quillsh Wammy is a really busy man, who takes care of finances (including taxes, following L’s and his current financial state, investing, donating, and who knows, maybe they have some business?), orphanages (even if he is not involved in directing, he is probably involved in financial side), and maybe scientific world.

I just think he doesn’t have time to be a housekeeper. Why do you think they don’t have a cook and a cleaner? These workers don’t have to know what is going on in the house, they are just working for a busy old man 🤵🏼 and his weird adopted son. 🦹🏻
