eating in philly: a memo to myself in case I forget.
1. Philly makes the absolute best pretzels I've ever tasted. Pretzel buns are also worth every penny. [Fox and Hound]
2. I can totally tell the difference between a Philly cheesesteak..and an ACTUAL Philly cheesesteak. [Pats, Jim's, John's Roast Beef]
3. david's mai lai wah. get there before 2am on a weekend after going out.
4. catch those happy hour specials! [McCormick & Schmicks, Sampan]
5. margaritas @ El Vez, but be prepared to spend cash $$$ because you can't just have one frozen blood orange margarita.
6. BEST ICE CREAM EVAR = Garrett's. [Reading terminal] or for a sweeter tooth [Franklin Fountain]
7. wholesome meaty sandwiches can be found at Jake's sandwich board. [50/50 or Mensch]
8. cheap a$$ gyros at food trucks in University city. I'm talkin' 4 bucks for a footlong.
9. bonte wafflerie! need to get that again at some point.
10. brunch at green eggs cafe OR sabrina's cafe.
11. nacho boat at jose pistola's
12. if you've got some more cash $$$, brazilian steakhouse is the way to for those meat-eaters. [Fogo de Chao]

14. pho on washington street. 5 dollahsss!
15. need to try those avocado fries at Triumph microbrewery in olde city.
