I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life, yet therefore is the knowledge of me the knowledge of death.

“Anyone who refuses to begin a magical operation out of fear of evil forces that might be unleashed if he or she makes a mistake has already made a mistake that has invoked a far greater evil.”

My favourite Jonathan Harker moment has to be when Dracula jumps out of a window and Jonathan, previously seen openly weeping in the halls of Castle Dracula, takes a big knife and chases after him by jumping through the same window.
No use of doors. No consideration for his own safety. He’s doing to stab that bitch if it’s the last thing he ever does.

Okay, so apparently a director by the name of Rahel Kapsaski filmed a 34 minute short film called, "The Red Lips of The Octopus" last year, and it is about the relationship between a young Aleister Crowley and Herbert Pollitt!!
There doesn't look to be much on it yet, but hopefully they'll mention a release date very soon!
Also, in case you're interested, Brandon Edwards will be playing young Aleister Crowley, and Danny Beaton will be playing Herbert Pollitt!!

"The Purple Priest of Greenwich Village"
I did this sketch of Aleister Crowley last weekend.
I really felt like Aleister Crowley's 1912 Purple Priest look was very stylish.

"'Pollitt was rather plain than otherwise. His face was made tragic by the terrible hunger of the eyes and the bitter sadness of the mouth. He possessed one physical beauty - his hair. This was very plentiful and he wore it rather long. It was what is called a shock. But its colour was pale gold, like spring sunshine, and its texture was of the finest gossamer.'" -Aleister Crowley, describing his lover, Herbert Pollitt.
#aleister crowley#herbert pollitt#I always thought that aleister and herbert sounded so cute together#I really wish things had worked out for them#:( :(

Hey, don't buy the stupid wizard game. I don't care that Rowling wasn't actually involved with it, the premise of the game - "the banker goblins are involved in an evil conspiracy and need to be stopped ahaha" - is fucked up as it is and not a single person on that team deserves a penny by virtue of having worked on this franchise. don't do it don't fucking do it
