After-school game session
Decided to make an artblog dedicated to whatever kinda niche this is...
I know when was younger, 3ds' were definitely popular enough that a lot of kids i went to school with had one. i'll always appreciate Nintendo in this era for how much they advocated for human connection through videogames. Unfortunatley though, I didn't have a whole lot of friends in elementary school, and it was pretty uncommon for kids to bring devices like a 3ds to school. Almost like it was a taboo. (which I find kinda funny nowadays), and I was way too shy to ask if I could go over a friends house.
So I never really had the full experinece of sharing games and playing with others in this way until I got my modded 3ds in highschool.

For this art piece, I wanted to really challenge myself with adding tons of detail because I usually tend to get lazy with my art. This is currently the longest I've ever spent on a digital piece, taking around 9 and a half hours to complete. My favorite part was getting to draw the game boxes and cartridges. Even if it was a little unnecessary.
Why did I choose Stan and Kenny out of all characters? No idea. They were just the first two that popped in my head. Though I will admit using Kenny, I definitely benefited with some of the storytelling aspects.
Here's hoping I don't abandon this project like a lot of others....
