yes I am alive.

i am so so sorry for disappearing for so long, I've just been focused on school and other projects and participating in extra curriculars and such- I don't have much of an explanation behind life.

i'm figuring out where I stand when I comes to whether or not I'll return to writing agere content because I wrote it for a while do to it being the Main Thing I was good at and the fact that it brought me comfort, and now I can get those things out of other kinds of projects. All of my current stuff will stay up but if 'are you alive' means 'will you be updating soon', then there's that.

The last chapter of How Did This Happen Twice was wonderful as usual! It was good to have everything finally come to fruition, and the author’s note at the end was very sweet. You’ve created a large amount of high-quality content for a community starved of near anything, and that in itself is a feat worthy of great respect. I hope you are proud of and pleased with yourself for what you’ve made, and best wishes to all your projects going forward <3

It was really nice to finally go through with all the stuff I spent an entire year setting up and foreshadowing. I think the authors note took me forever to write, It took me a while to figure out how to say everything that was going through my head.

I just posted the final chapter of this fic, right on the anniversary of me posting the first chapter. I talk a lot in the notes there about how it’s been writing the fic and such, and I’ve talked about it here already, so here’s the link.

How Did This Happen Twice - Anniversary Note + Update

the one year anniversary of me starting “How Did This Happen Twice?” is tomorrow! I just wanna say thank you guys for supporting me through this fun little au since the beginning. I will talk about this more in my ao3 notes once I get through writing the final chapter but if it wasn’t for y’all telling me here that you were interested in the idea when I posted vaguely about the concept of Ranboo starting a secret agere channel, I might not have ever gone through with writing that first chapter.

so y’all get a special little note, just thank you so much. I’m bad at these things but you guys really mean a lot to me.

I promise I am doing my best to write the final chapter, but I’ve been struggling with writing fics since Technoblade’s passing so I’ve been throwing myself into whatever my mind feels like writing instead of forcing myself to focus on specific projects as I’ve done in the past, and it just so happens that finishing up this huge project is not what my brain wants to do? I have the outline written, though, and I will post it as soon as it’s ready

more petre 🥰 little animal babies make me so happy and your tommy petre and catboo fics are something i cherish. i love all your works but petre is so hard to find bc of lack of tags 😭. i would love to see a refresh even if not complete petre and more imagination play durrinh regression.

I was actually just realizing how long it's been since I last wrote a petre fic! I have a harder time writing petre because I have less experience with it, I think? I'm not quite sure but I still like writing it so I'll try to do something petre related but no promises!. (probably another catboo fic if I'm honest!)

imagination play during regression is definitely possible, though! I just came up with a list of prompt ideas for oneshots (they're prompts for me to write, I won't be posting the list!) so I'll try to add something with that on the list!

guys i am now realizing how many of my fics have recently turned a year old/are going to soon? Wandering Duckling, Sugar High, and Ranboo’s Totally Official Guide to Staying Out of The Timeout Chair, three fics I remember writing and loving so much, are all a year old/about to be!! this is crazy!!

In celebration, I guess, please feel free to ask me questions about any of my mcyt-related fics, tell me which one is your favorite, etc. I am really bored anyways so I’ll get to answering asks tonight and tomorrow!

hello! little update on this, I’m gonna be doing a full revamp of this fic! it’s just gonna be a little side project that I do alongside the autmile au once how did this happen twice is over. it’s gonna be a full rewrite with a pre-planned plot (so that I don’t get six chapters in and not know what to do hjsiaksja) and slight adaptations to the original concept

Camilla being Tommy’s cousin will still be there, along with her accidentally moving in to Ranboo’s neighborhood, except now it’s in the UK. She’s a little older than in the original fic, a young adult who’s moving to the UK in order to pursue her interest in dance. I actually gave her a hobby besides streaming and being friends with Ranboo this time, guys. Anyways she moves there during the summer so that she can get settled in before starting her schooling and that’s when she meets Ranboo, starts to get into streaming a little bit, gets closer to her cousin, and starts to discover her age regression. 

I’m hoping that adjusting the concept and making her a young adult won’t upset anyone and will allow me more creative freedom within the story. The original six chapters will be available on ao3 and wattpad until I have the first chapter of the rewrite ready, so if you guys really like those, feel free to go reread them sometime in the next month or so while I work on the details of what’s basically a reboot hjsikajsa

I won't make any promises but I do really like the premise i set up and the dynamic between ranboo and camilla, I just didn't do much real plot-wise and lost interest in writing it. So the final response is, I want to but maybe, and if I do- It'll be a while

hey! I just wanted to announce here that the next chapter of how did this happen twice won’t be coming out before we hit the ‘one month mark’ since the last chapter, sorry about that! I know you guys would normally get it around now but I have a lot going on (finals week and stuff coming soon), it shouldn’t be much longer than a week or two extra but it all depends on my motivation after testing and everything! thanks for understanding!
