This article, which discusses David Gaider’s comments about how EA didn’t want to appeal to RPG audiences, because they were “in the cave” and would buy any slop they threw at them, explains why Dragon Age: The Veilguard stank as much as it did. By trying to appeal to the masses, who didn’t like or get RPGs, they created a game that was so simplified as to be laughable.

Minrathous Streets

Had fun trying to concept in 360 degrees. While it never really proved to be worth the extra effort, the results are kinda cool. This image was meant to be a street-level view of the city of Minrathous, particularly with an eye of getting height and depth, like a termite mound that's been stacking up for millennia. You can see a magister on a standing palanquin, and a magically tamed-giant used for public transportation. By Matt Rhodes

Anders and his kid brother (the future hero of ferelden), Sasha. As spirit healers, the two were both apprenticed under Wynne and were very close. I like to think their brotherly relationship is part of why Anders seeks out the warden in Awakening
