I’m confused on how chire is separate from the agere community? especially since you say cglre DNI and many agere/cglre blogs say DNI if chire. Both seem to view the other as having k!nk associations yet from what I understand neither is k!nk associated? Sorry if this sounds dumb I’m genuinely confused😰

We say no clg/cglre primarily because cgl is a kink community and a lot of regressors have trauma involvind the community. cglre branched off from cgl as an sfw community but still uses its terms and, widely, its tags so we dont want to interact bc of the connection, labels and tag sharing! They say dni us because we dont feel comfortable with them!

ive never seen cglre as connected to k!nk in anyway and still disagree that it is tbh- and ive never seen my cgs relationship with me as a power exchange- just me needing someone there when im regressed, i call my regression little space because i feel small i did not realize it had such complicated and discourse filled roots but im gonna try to stop using that word for it- but because my regression is really trauma based i feel a connection to this community too-- idk what to do,, (2/2)

Howdy neighbor! Im sorry i cant put both parts of your ask in this, but im on mobile!

As for what community you should be a part of, thats up to you, but im glad youve been looking into it! While a lot of chirebs may be uncomfortable with cglres connection to cgl, that doesn't mean that cglre is kink adjacent nessicarily, just that it evolved from cgl and some people feel uncomfortable with that.

Similarly, there are lots of chirebs who call their carers daddy/papa/etc. And theres nothing that says you cant! Do what makes you happy and comfortable!

Im always glad to answer questions and we'd love to have you in the community, but i cant tell you what to choose because i dont know whats best for you or what you feel most comfortable with. Maybe, if you have a cglre blog, make a chire blog and interact with other chirebs and see if you like it or not. Im sorry i couldnt be more help, but i hope what i have said helped a little at least!

Hello!!! I’m not necessarily in the cglre community or any community, but I use cglre tags. I’m not trying to disrespect or be rude, but why don’t you allow cglre? It’s not a sexual or k!nk community, it’s an agere community too! I looked for the reason on your page and couldn’t find it ^^’ I’m just curious

Ah, because its still rooted in a way in cgl, at least in name, and early on in the communities development there was enough various discourse coming up about it that we felt it was best to keep it in out DNI. Also, a notable amount of cglre blogs still allow cgl interaction and for safty reasons, we dont feel comfortsble with that!

Why does your FAQ say that you are not pro -Age Regression?

we specify in the faq that we are anti cgl, not anti age regression, we’re an age regression community! we just dont feel comfortable with cgl/ddlg dynamics or the community for various reasons. 

also, we merged with chireplace on their blog! chire-central is up mostly as an archive!

Hi. I am an agere and regress due to trauma. Tbh I am nonsexual in and out of regression in general. I read a little about chire and cglre and I like the idea of not being associated with kink. I however do call my partner Dada or cg or variants as a term of endearment. Then it seem like a lot of hate is on the ChiRe community and not a lot of people accept it. I do not mind cglre people and I know people have their own life and all but sexual things make me really uncomfortable. :/

Howdy! Well, in terms of hate/disagreement of people with chire, a lot of people who are connected with cgl have chire on their blacklists bc we just dont interact with eachother. Other agere people geel uncomfortable with us because some old mods of ours did and said some bad things in out old discord and hurt people, but theyre not here anymore.

I cant tell you whether you would ultimately feel more comfortable in chire or cglre, but i hope which ever you choose its whats best for you. I know the cglre community is doing its best to seperate itself from its connection to cgl (despite the name) and thats its non kink, so some people feel best there. Some people prefer chire because we have no kink associations and they have bad experiences with cgl. So while id be glad to welcome you to the chire communiry, it all depends on what youre most comfortable with.

Also, theres a lot of chirebs who use parental language for their significant others/carers, so thats really no problem!

ah, it sort of depends! i think its fine to support clgre as a community being itself and the people in it being happy with their community, we only ask you dont allow clgre interaction on your chire blog for the safety and comfort of the people you reblog from

I just havent gotten the opportunity to say anything as ive been trapped in a dark crystal of depression and melancholy in the midst of my familys latest moves so forgive me for not putting this to rest sooner.

well gosh

ive wanted to put together “the screenshot post” for so long but now that i really think about it it’s just an activity that takes a bunch of spoons all for the purpose of making people like me on the internet and i just don’t have the energy for that.

i care about ChiRe a lot and understand that people are still mad at me or whatever, but i’ve just realized people are gonna think what they think and i can’t be bothered spending energy on fighting w people, or trying to prove their opinion wrong. it’s just opinions.

i enjoyed modding ChiRe for the most part and it isn’t something i want to give up so. that’s that???? i’m hoping ChiRe has a better future and whatnot and i’d like to contribute to that.
