Before you can read the fic I like to give some disclaimers, special thanks, and give credits

First off disclaimers: this fic features mild violence, body horror, implied cheating, and a character little bit being mentally tormented (I don't know what this particular warning would be called). Also, sorry if the formatting is weird. I type this out on a different writing app where it looks a bit better on there.

I also like to thank my friends floofy and bug for not only putting up with my annoying self but telling me to finish this fic instead of starting a new one since I started this months ago.

Credits: This fic briefly refrences sm-baby's carnival au able and dia-smthidk's carnival au sethe (I hope that's the creator of that seth design otherwise I need someone to tell me who the actual owner is so I can credit them)

Anyways onto the fic

Abel walks down the stairs of the freakshow that was under the watch of “azura”, one of seven A.Is tasked with overseeing and entertaining players in this work in progress game, to get to another A.I named seth that surly can help abel with his problems since he had “created” it. The stairs to his destination were made out of some hard material as each step he took made a thud sound and the scent of lavender and the warmth of azura’s place began to disappear leaving Abel alone descending down the ever darkening staircase. Abel felt a shiver run down his body despite as it kept getting cold but didn’t back down since nothing can hurt him for he is the reason this world was even a thing so any creation daring to harm him were not going to get away for hurting him once he got out of here and back into the real world. He kept going down deeper and deeper into the basement and it felt like abel was going to develop digital hyperthermia he heard the pouring of liquid and smelt a scent he couldn’t put his finger on. The scent was floral like azura but as he got closer he could smell hints of spice and maybe a citrusy touch to accompany the floral scent. Eventually Abel took his last step and found himself in the dark abyss of the basement where almost all around him were eyes here and there. Their movements were much like that of a chameleon’s in the way they’d move independently of one another which was no surprise to abel considering the fact that these things were lowly beta testers of his game. Abel avoids any and all eye contact with these beings as he walks into the basement trying to find the one who could help him get back home. It was hard to see due to the darkness and all there was was that scent that he smelled a minute or two earlier but eventually after some walking abel saw what looked to be candle lights in the distance. Abel hurried his steps as he ran at the light source in annoyance that the A.I didn’t do anything to tell him where it was at,For a creation that abel had a hand in creating it was so ungrateful. He eventually saw what looked to be two velvet chairs and a table. One of the chairs was much bigger than the other and much fancier than the one opposite to it. This bigger chair had multiple gold statues and carvings in it like an angel on the left and a bird on the right with an egyptian sphynx over a circle with weird markings he’s only seen a few times when his younger brother got those dumb fortune telling cards. The armrests were gold statues, the left one was a winged bull, and the other was a winged lion. The way this chair looked one could easily mistake it for a throne for someone very important and powerful…why was it down here? Abel thought to himself something like this should’ve went to his own A.I counterpart not his younger sibling’s A.I all he was was an investor so why did HE get a throne? Abel huffed as he looked at the table and how it had silver accents vs the gold on the throne but it did have those classic crystal balls some fortune teller would have.

“ I am the prophet with the answers you seek,” a gentle voice said. Abel jolted up as he looked at the previously empty throne that now had a humanoid sitting in it. Abel looked at it and saw the green ringleader sipping out a porcelain cup that had various constellations on it. After he took a sip seth put his drink down

explaining more ringleader lore!!

since the "explain the ringleaders more" option won the poll I'm going to explain more about the ringleaders.

First up is how the NPCs sees them. Generally a lot of the NPCs worship the ringleaders (as seen in episode 2 with caine) like gods with caine being the main ringleader/god in the pantheon. Much like gods in various mythologies and religions the ringleaders also have things like sacred animals, domains, etc they are associated with. Note a lot of this is based off of Greek mythology (Specifically epic the musical) because that's my biggest inspiration for the ringleaders

Caine- Caine is the main god in the pantheon and is seen as a creator. He is often associated with the colors red,blue, and green with his sacred animals being peacocks,bees, and chickens and is often associated with farmers/crops. In the past the main ringleader was AIbel but is now caine.

Cainain- Cainain is seen as a sort of water/natural disaster/ justice goddess by the NPCs and is associated with the color yellow and predatory animals like alligators and other reptilians. I like to imagine carvings or images often are seen in places in the digital world that deals with judgement and bodies of water. She is also seen as a harsh destroyer to serve as the opposite of caine who is a creator. She sometimes is referred to as "caine's teeth" due to the fact whenever she does fight an NPC she tends to use her teeth to tear apart the unfortunate thing that got her mad while Caine never uses his to do such animalistic actions (also those two are really the only one's in the sibling group to have teeth)

AIbel- once the main ringleader/god now is a shell of his former self. His associated color is blue and sacred animal are sheep and is seen as the protector of shepherds and their flocks. Often you'd see him being referenced at places of worship and with livestock

Azura- she is seen as a sort of goddess of women, love, nature, and magic often associated with the color purple and her sacred animals being butterflies and lionesses. She is believed to be a protector of women and children. You'd see her referenced at places of natural beauty and safe spaces for women and children. Azura is the last of the "physical" siblings aka gods/ringleaders more associated with the physical world of the digital realm.

seth- seth is seen as a god/goddess of duality, balance, divination, and the afterlife. Seth of course is associated with the color green and with animals like cats, crows, and sometimes snakes. With seth she is a but if an oddity due to many conflicting beliefs that they either decide when beings die or is simply one who watches over the dead with no hand in their fate. Due to the previous fact it is seen as bad luck or a death wish if you hurt a sacred animal of Seth's. You will see imagery of him in places of death often times but also during times when it is believed when it is best for celebrations of the dead or divination.

Norea- norea is seen as a goddess of fire, the ending/beginning of new chapters in life, and women. Unlike azura being the protector of women in general she more or so is seen as the protector of mothers or women in positions of authority. She often is associated with the colors black, red, orange, and yellow with her sacred animals being birds of prey and snakes. Her Imagery can be seen in places like safe spaces for mothers. Because of her association with seth she and leor are seen as guides to the afterlife and can travel to the afterlife freely while the others tend to stay outside (not out of any harm but because the others are more or so comfortable in the "physical" world)

Leor- despite not being fully in game they are seen as a god of snakes, the unknown, and change. In NPC mythology it is mentioned how leor came from an unknown place that is believed to be full of things like giants, hybrid creatures, and other powerful beasts but was taken in by the parents of the ringleader siblings named Adam and eve when he was young and would after some time sprout another head. Weirdly enough most of the time leor is often depicted as a large multi headed serpent instead of an object head like the rest of his brothers. He is often associated with the color dark blue and with animals like snakes, hamsters, birds, and pigs. Due to being close to seth and norea they are often seen with eachother in places of death. Leor is seen as a guide for those going through a difficult time in life.

ringleader games

I started this drawing in mid December but never got around to finishing it until I saw @tadc-funfair-au (if you like both tadc and epic the musical go take a look at their au) and got the motivation to finish this!!

Originally I was planning for the role of Athena to be the main cast (pomni, ragatha, gangle, zooble, Jax, and kinger) to go up against the ringleaders with Abel being one of the "gods" they would've had to convince. Issue with it was I never really had a good idea what player would go up against which ringleader (except zooble they would've went against leor).

Eventually I decided to replace them with Abel and have norea take his place as hera in it. So starting from let to right

Athena- Abel

explaining the ringleaders part 2- cainain, azura, and norea

Cainain- she is the twin sister of our loveable ringleader,caine, who resides and controls the digital lake. She acts as the second line of defense against unwanted "visitors" aka viruses and things like that. Unlike her twin brother caine who as we all know is a goofy little fella she is more serious and has the added feature to punish NPCs ( occasionally people but only if they are REALLY bad) who dare to step out of line. She currently has a virus prisoner

Azura- azura is the twin sister of Abel. She runs the digital freakshow (not to be confused for the famous digital freakshow au by hoot) where it's not that creepy more or so has the asthetic of the witch section of a spirit of Halloween. There she watches over her own humans who often tend to be women and children who she cares for as much as an A.I can care. She defends them with all she got like transforming the threat to a thing that can't cause much harm or sending an NPC of her own creation to deal with them. (Yes she is based off of circe from epic the musical)

Norea- norea is the twin of seth. She is the first line of defense against things like viruses that can threaten the digital world. Unlike her other siblings she doesn't have really a place to watch over of her own instead she watches the others' domains to ensure everything is running smoothly. (Sorry if I don't have a lot of info about her. It's because she was the latest to be added to the ringleader roster)

Leor- leor is the only one who doesn't have a twin. They were planned to be the ringleader for the digital carnival but due to complications with the production of the game only his model was ever made but not his A.I.

lately I've felt like drawing some ocs in different aus and thought to ask since there's so many tadc aus.

Rules:

-you can't suggest aus where kingleader (caine x kinger) is in it. It's not out of not liking the ship but because in my au I ship one of my Bluetooth fankids with a checkmate fankid.

-suggest aus where my main oc Enoch could exist (Enoch is my main tadc oc) this is more out of wanting to respect the au's creator who may ship caine with someone else and I don't want to feel like I am disrespecting them.

explaining some of my weird tadc au lore part 1- Caine,Abel, and Seth

in my au there are around 7 ringleaders/A.I but today I'll explain those three to get them out of the way.

Caine: our loveable A.I caine is largely the same if not the same in this au, but he does miss his younger brother AIbel and wonders where he went since he was only meant to be ringleader's assistant. This random promotion kind of leaves him overwhelmed with all the work he now has to do.

AIbel: once the face of C&A now a name that is talked about in whispers. AIbel is now left alone forced to wonder the digital realm and unable to do much for his body is no longer just his own. Both inhabitants are now stuck in a state of tug of war with whatever is in him being the one who wins the most and therefore AIbel being forced to watch as his body and powers are used in ways it was never intended for. Poor AIbel often tries to soothe this entity's anger and sadness in hopes of gaining back control this has varying degrees of success everyday.

seth: known to many as the prophet seth is maybe one of the most advanced A.I but also is one of the most mysterious out of the seven. He is the only AI that is able to predict the future and whenever he is in the middle of "seeing" the future it will look like he is using different ways of divination like tarot cards, tea leaf readings, crystal balls, and more. Unlike all of his siblings who watch over their own respective circuses seth dwells in the basement. At one point she was with the others but decided it was best someone watched over the abstracted. Down in the basement she often has one way conversations with the abstracted for it doesn't hurt in anyway for them to hear what the future holds for the world above them. Seth may be the only A.I that knows what is wrong with AIbel and how to fix him but seth sadly isn't the one to fix him but someone else can so it's only a matter of time.

I really love the character design and noticed how similar yet different the two are.
